~Daryl's Pov~

I was out on the porch talking to Rick, When suddenly i heard coughing coming from Ashley's room. I stood up, Rick following. I opened the door. She was awake, breathing heavily and her skin broken out to a cold sweat once again. "Hey Princess" I said giving her a small smile. She gave me a weak smile "I missed you.." she said to me out of breath. She looked over to Rick.

"Is the boy okay?" she asked struggling to talk "Yes, Thanks to you." Rick gave her a smile. She looked over to me again and smiled "I thought... I would never find you Dar-" she stopped talking and her eyes rolled back along with a sharp breath.

"Ashley?" I asked slightly shaking her arm but didn't get nothing in return.

"Hershel? Whats going on?" Rick asked. Ashley started to shake. "No, Its a seizure, if you hold her down you can hurt her" Hershel said turning her on her side. I knew i couldn't do anything about a seizure. I just backed away and put my head in my hands for a bit. I knew if i tried to stop it it would make it worse.. 

She went through the seizure, she turned her body towards Hershel, He opened her eyes and checked them with a flashlight. "Her brain isn't getting enough blood" Hershel said. "You can drain me dry for all i care, do it" I said standing up and walking towards him. I held my arm out towards him.

A few hours have passed, I ended up giving her another blood transfusion. Ashley is pale, she's sweating and her breathing is slow. I'm really worried now. Shane and Otis still aren't back yet and Ashley is getting worse and worse by the second. Hershel lifted her shirt slightly. The gunshot wound looked infected. I looked at him. "We have to do this now, If we don't, things will only get worse" he said. Worst meaning she'll die. I looked out the window to see that they still aren't back yet. But I can't lose her again.. They have to try. "..okay" I said after a while.

Hershel, Rick, Maggie and i lifted Ashley to a table where Hershel was preparing open the wound, "Rick, Daryl you might want to step out" He was about to begin we heard a car engine. We looked out to see the blue pick up truck. I ran followed by the others. We see Shane but no Otis. "Otis?" Hershel asked. Shane just shook his head. 

"We say nothing to Patricia not until after. I need her" Hershel said and ran inside to take the bullet fragments out. I grabbed my cross bow and went on a walk while they were with her.. I hope she'll be okay.

About an hour later i came back and the door opened to see Hershel and his shirt was bloody. "She made it, she's stabilized" he said. I ran inside to Ashley's room to see her still sleeping, I went up to her and kissed her hand. I looked at her, She was okay. I hope she opens her eyes soon. It was late out and she lost a lot of blood, She went through a lot of pain and she needed rest. 

I feel asleep with her that night, holding her hand.

~The next day~

Hershel was taking her temperature "Fevers gone down" i see Ashley's eyes opened slowly, I practically ran up to the bed. "Ashley?" I asked. She blinked a few times and looked around until our eyes met she gave me a weak smile and closed her eyes for a moment, She looked back to Carl and then Rick. "I'm glad your boy is okay" she gave him a small smile. I held her hand.

She looked back at me "Rest, i'll be right here" she game me a small nod and went out almost instantly. I looked at Carl, his eyes were bright and he had a smile on his face. He was glad she was okay. I heard footsteps coming this way  "They're here" we went outside to be meted by the rest of the group. "Who got shot, how is she?" Dale asked "My little sister. Shes fine" I told them. 

"You have a sister?" Glenn asked "Yes." He came up to me and hugged me, I'm not a huger so  just patted him on the back. He let go. "How did it happen" Dale asked us "Stupid hunting accident, She saved Carl" Rick told them.

Some hours passed and everyone was helping around the farm. We were staying until my sister gets better. I was just hopping that Ashley would wake up soon again.
