~Ashley's Pov~ Couple of days later~

Carl and I ended up falling asleep next to each other again. Something we honestly haven't done in a while, And to be honest we both missed it. I felt an arm pull me closer and i opened my eyes a little to see Carl. He had his badge on already. He's been up because he doesn't sleep with his badge on. He took it off last night. It's a big step for him to take his badge off in front of me.

I'm glad he's doing it now. He's comfortable around me again. "Good morning" He said softly. "Morning" I said softly closing my eyes again. I sighed a little, I was still a little tired. I cuddled up closer to Carl making him smile and he pulled me in closer, Pulling the blankets on us. We were facing each other, "Still tired?" he asked playing with a strand of my hair. "Mhmm" I said as my head rested/touched his chest chest. "What time is it?" I asked not opening my eyes, "It's 7:30" He said. "hm" I said smiling. "Cmon" he said kissing my head.

"Five more minutes..." I mumbled. I felt him laugh a little. "I'll wake you up later, Michonne and my dad aren't up either" he said running my shoulder. "Carl Grimes you are a morning person that's why" I said looking at him. He smiled. "You're so beautiful" He whispered. I shook my head. "That was a compliment" He said smiling a little.

"I know, Morning compliments?" I asked closing my eyes again. "Sure" He said. "Hmm, Okay you're cute.. You're hot... i love you now let me sleep" i said giggling a little and turning around. He smiled a little. I hugged my blanket, He came over to me and hugged me his hand was resting on my side and i felt his chest touch my back. "I love you too. I'll wake you up in a bit okay?" he said. "Mhmm, It's way too early" I said as my eyes closed again.

"But you have to wake up or i'll bring judith and she'll wake you up" He said. I opened my eyes. i smiled a little. "Bring her over. I'll teach her what a sleepover is" I said turning around to face him again. He smiled and shook his head. "alright, I'll let you sleep" He said as he placed a kiss on my cheek. I smiled and hugged the blanket closing my eyes.

~Later on that same day~

I got out of the shower earlier. I was just thinking a lot. I don't know why but i was. I was thinking about Daryl. They're gonna find him some point... I don't want that to happen. I don't want to lose my brother. We all lost so much and i don't want to lose more people. I was sitting down in bed playing around with my bracelet.

I felt a hand on my knee and i looked up to see Judith. "Oh my god you scared me" I said she looked at me. I smiled and closed my eyes. "You alright" I looked over to see Carl. "Yeah, She just scared me" I said. Judith touched my bracelet. "You want it?" I asked. She touched the little moon jem. I took it off and wrapped it twice around her wrist, it still fell a little loose. "My friend gave it to me" I said looking at Judith.

She played around with it making me smile a bit. Causing Carl to smile too. "What's wrong" Carl asked sitting down, Judith was between us. "Nothing" I said shaking my head. "You're lying" he said. "I'm not, I was just thinking" I said looking at him. "About" He asked. "Daryl" i said. "He's okay though" He said. "Yeah, I know. But-" I shook my head. "Um.. You know they're looking for him right?" I said looking at him.

He nodded. "yeah" He said. I nodded. "they're gonna find him at some point..." I said looking down.. "You don't know that" He said. "I don't. But i don't want to lose him again. Right now at least i know he's safe." I said. "He's safe. So you don't have to worry" He said. I nodded. "Yeah" I said softly.

"Cmon." He said picking up Judith. "Where are we going" I said. "for a walk" He said. I stood up and we walked to the living room. There was a knock at the door. Carl handed me Judith and he opened the door. It was Tara. "Hey" She said. "Hey" Carl said. "I just wanted to know if you needed any help with Judith" She said. "oh, Yeah. Sure" He said moving so she can walk in. She walked over to me.

She took Judith. "Are you okay? I heard what happened.. I don't know who it was" She said. "Yeah... His name is Michael" I said. "I'm glad you're okay" She said. "Me too" I said softly. "I'm here if you need anyone to talk to" She said. I nodded. "Thanks" I said smiling softly.

I walked to Carl. I closed the door and we started walking. "I'm sorry you had to go though that with your dad..." Carl said as we walked. "No one should go through that..." He said. I nodded. "Yeah.. i wish things like this didn't happen to anyone." I said looking around. He reached out and held my hand. (Gif Above)

I looked at our hands, He did too. I smiled, We sat the gates open. "My dad's here" Carl said. It was a white van. The van came to a stop and we saw Rick and Michonne come out. Covered in some walker blood. Dry though. Carl and i walked up to them. We let go and Carl went to his dad. "Are you okay?" Michonne asked looking at me. "yeah" I said nodding a bit.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over to see it was Rick. "You alright" he said putting a finger under my chin and lifting my head up a little so he can see the cut. "I'm okay" i said. He looked at me and nodded. I nodded a bit too. "We found guns." He said We walked over to the back of the van to see a lot of guns and boxes of food.

"What happened to your hand?" Carl asked. "I'll tell you later.. Someone's get Tara, Rosita and Gabriel. We need to go" Rick said. He closed the door. Rick looked at me. I just nodded a bit. He nodded. They all came and they got in the van. "We'll be back" Rick said and they took off.
