~Ashley's Pov~

I'm feeling better, My head is in less pain and Hershel said that i can walk today, I heard footsteps coming towards my cell, i sat up and and looked at the Entrance, I saw a shadow with a hat. 'Carl' I smiled to myself and looked down, My hair covered my face, He couldn't see me smiling "You okay?" I looked at and nodded "Peachy" He smiles that million dollar smile. "Hershel said you can walk but he said not to stain yourself" I nodded and put on my shoes, I got up and felt a little dizzy "Whoa You alright" Carl supported me, "Yeah just a little dizzy" He nodded, I grabbed my gun and my knife and put them on my holster.

We started walking but i felt dizzy again "Can we get water first i'm still a little dizzy" He nodded and we went over to the 'Kitchen' of the prison and he got me a water bottle "Thanks" He nodded "You're struggling aren't you" I smiled a little "Yeah..." I gave him a shy smile and sat down again "I'll help you so you won't end up falling" I gave him a confused look "Stand up for a second" I stood up he put his arm around my waist and we started walking "Now you won't fall" He smiled at me and i smiled back. God he's adorable...

We walked out and we saw Beth when she looked at us and smiled "You guys are cute" I gave her a smile and looked at Carl he smiled back "How are you feeling?" Beth asked me "I'm okay just a little dizzy" She nodded "Yeah thats normal just drink water" I smiled and nodded and looked around"Carl where's your dad?" He looked around "I don't know" He looked down. I heard a gunshot I looked around and saw one of the prisoners on the ground. Carl pulled me closer and we took cover. I pulled out my gun "You can't strain yourself you're barely on your feet" Beth looked at me "Beth i'm fine really"Carl looked at me "Really i'm okay, If i'm going to die i'll die protecting my group" I looked i his Blue eyes "I'll be okay trust me" He nodded

I looked at Beth "If you start to feel dizzy stop shooting" I nodded More gunshots went off, We went behind the bleachers, "Oh my god" I looked over to see The Governor.

~Carl's Pov~

"Oh my god" I looked over to Ashley she was staring at something i looked over to where she was looking, The Governor looking at her with a grin on his face, Looking directly over at Ashley, I looked over to her she was looking around and she stopped looking at another one of The Governor's men. She looked over to The Governor again. Gun shots went off and we dropped to the ground "Over here!" We followed Beth. Another gunshot went off. Ashley looked over "One in the guard tower" She checked her ammo. We started shooting at the man over by the guard tower. Ashley took one more shot and she took him down.

"Beth!" Beth looked over to Maggie and gave her a gun. She looked at Ashley "They won't hurt you i promise i won't let that happen" She looked at her and nodded she nodded back. And Maggie took off running for cover "Carol!" She came running to us. I heard a truck coming over it ran through the gates. Walkers came crawling out of the truck on to the fields. "Hershel!" Ashley screamed "Get the hell out of there" I heard my dad. Ashley started shooting at the walkers i helped her. Glenn came over with  the truck and picked up Hershel and Michonne.

Ashley sat on the floor looking at the fields. "Are you okay" I asked "Im okay" I held out my hand she took it and we walked over to the group "Were not leaving were staying here." My dad told us "We aint scared of that Prick" Daryl looked at Merle "Ya'll should be, That was him ringing the doorbell" Ashley looked down i held her hand and gave it a slight squeeze "I say we leave. We can't just sit here" My dad started walking away "Get back here!" Hershel yelled at my dad. Ashley looked at Hershel, We've never heard him scream before.

"I put my families life in your hands, Now get your head clear and do something" Ashley walked away Maggie followed her and i went after them both "Stop" Maggie said to Ashley, She stopped dead in her tracks "They're going to kill me Maggie. They didn't finish back at Woodburry." She said to her. I walked over to her Maggie followed "No they're not." I told her she looked down. "They're not listen to me okay. They won't hurt you, I won't let them" Maggie told her "You saw what they did to me. I was about to die... if Daryl didn't shoot Jayson i wouldn't be here right now Maggie" Ashley said "But you are and im glad you are." I told her she looked in my eyes "As long as im here i won't let anything hurt you. Glenn and I we'll take care of you. We all will." Maggie said, I looked at her. She looked at Maggie "Me too" I said. 

She just shook her head and looked down "Im scared." She whispered I went up to her and hugged her. I hate seeing her like this "Can i be alone with her Maggie please" She nodded and left.

~Ashley's Pov~

"Look at me"  I let go of him and looked at him "Im not going to let anything happen to you. I promise that. I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happens to you" I looked at him"Why wouldn't you forgive yourself" I asked him he looked at the ground and back at me  "Because... I like you..." I looked at him but he looked away "Ever since you came to the farm. I looked at you and i felt something when i was around you. Its okay if you don't like me back i just wanted to let you know that i really like you. You dont have to lie to me if you don't like me..."  He kept on rambling  i smiled to myself he's adorable, I cut him off by pressing my lips into his, I stepped back and looked in his eyes "What was that for?" I giggled a little "To shut you up" I looked at him "I was rambling wasn't i"

I nodded while laughing "Yeah you were. Carl i like you too" He looked at me with a smile on his face his eyes lit up "You do?" I nodded "Yes Carl" I looked at him "Will you be my girl?" I nodded "Yes Carl" He smiled "Really?" I nodded "Yes" He hugged me and kissed me"Love you Ashley" I smiled "Love you Too Carl"
