She walked out of her office building, her face devoid of any emotions as people made way for her, some even holding their breaths until she passed them.

Ruth O'Neil was done with this place. She was done with this country. She was done with this city. She was done with her work place. She was done.
Actually... She was done with all of these since 2 years.

"Idiotic people!" She huffed as she tried kicking a random stone only to miss it. "Stupid stupid people!"

Ruth wasn't always a misanthrope. It's just that she was so done with seeing good in people because of a certain human, she decided that it's easier to find their faults.
And it was way easier this way.

The train station was crowded that evening and it only fueled her anger and not even the soft snow could cool her down.

Huffing and puffing, cursing at everything that crossed her eyes she got on her usual train, only to almost lose her temper as the ride was pretty bumpy, not to mention the stupid poodle who just couldn't shut up!

Finally... Finally when it was her stop a random dude, probably a druggie bumped into her making her almost lose her balance.

Biting back a curse she took in deep breaths, clenching her gloved hands as she watched the careless man stumble outside the station.

"Stupid people! Ugh!"

The heavy snowfall wasn't making anything better for her as she walked to her apartment complex, cursing the weather forecasting department until she got into her cozy abode, it's warmth making her stop for a while.

"And I'm home." She muttered as she threw her bag on the couch before hurrying to freshen up hoping to finish some of her office work before bed, only to fall asleep in the tub until she almost drowned.

Cursing at the stupid tub, she stumbled out and dried herself, half-asleep before pulling on random clothes and crashing on bed.

Not really proud of this chapter...But well...I tried.

And the first few chapters are gonna be a little short like this.But I swear it gets bigger-longer.
