Chapter 31
Third person pov
Hollow fell asleep surprisingly fast. Time wasn't all that relevant to her after that. She slept, and her dreams flew by quicker than she ever could have thought. They flitted past her eyes, colorful, happy and pure as could be. They were about things only the nicest person would dream about. They were about flowers, and befriending the wildlife. They were about saving people, and helping life itself. And they were about fireflies. A whole field just full of them, all of them little specks that blinked in the darkness.
And then, just like that, she was awake again.
"Hollow." Shisui cooed. He wasn't able to get over the fact that Hollow looked absolutely adorable when asleep. Like a little puppy of so sort. She was so young and so pure. She had no idea. "Come on. Hidan is starting to wake up."
Hollow's eyes cracked open, and she blinked blearily. Shisui was still acting as a floating bed, and his face was right there in front of hers too. Had he really held her all night? She felt bad, but he didn't seem to mind. She wondered if this was what having a brother was like.
"Wake the fuck up y'all!" Meatball Kyle climbed on to her shoulder as Shisui slowly lowered her, tilting so that she was set on her feet. He offered a dazzling smile. "WaKe ThE fUcK uP-"
"I'm awake, dammit! Shut your rat-ass mouth before I leave you to the Hawks!" Hidan shrieked irritably.
"I eat Hawks for breakfast, so shut your dumbass the hell up."
Shisui sighed.

"So what the fuck is our game plan. This is your show, apparently." Hidan looked down at Hollow. As innocent as the kid just so happened to be, in no way was she dumb. She was learning fast, and although innocent, seemed to be plentiful in the knowledge department. Presumably due to the fact that she had a literal goddess inside of her.
Hollow thought about it for a moment. Meatball Kyle restrained himself from insulting Hidan during this short period of time so the poor girl wouldn't be distracted. Shisui also stayed quiet, although he was eager to give him a two cents. He didn't really get to interact with the living world anymore. At least, not before Hollow came along. Now he could help and contribute! Feel useful again!
"I...I th-think all of them should a-ally with Konoha f-first." Hollow offered hesitantly. She earned a nod from Hidan and Shisui as if telling her to continue. This seemed to perk the girl up slightly. "T-That way, in the e-end, they all have a c-commom ally. Konoha will probably b-be the most peaceful and most w-willing to form bonds with the other villages... W-well, from what I've heard I mean."
"What the fuck?" Hidan whispered.
"That's a really good idea, Hollow! How'd you think of that?" Shisui asked, impressed. He knew she was smart, but he hadn't expected that.
"I-I was just thinking about it..." Hollow trailed off. It's all she really had to dwell on. Hikari had confirmed a lot of what she was unsure of. Almost a full twelve years in a coma with only a goddess as company yielded some interesting results. Hikari didn't know much about the modern world today, or of human relationships in the romantic sense. What she did know, she didn't tell Hollow. Not because it wasn't important, but because Hikari was unsure if Hollow would ever get to leave her coma. She didn't want Hollow dreaming of something she'd never be able to have. It would break her heart.
"Damn. She may be small as all fuck, dense as hell and cuter than me, but she's got a brain." Meatball Kyle said. Shisui patted the girl on the head. Hollow ducked her head in wake of all the praise.
"Unlike you." Hidan whispered.
"Excuse me? What did your nasty white boy mouth just say to me?"
Shisui sighed, drawing Hollow's attention away from the two vulgar individuals.
