You were having a dream about a moment when you were a child. You were up on a roof and looking through a window at the couple inside it, and once the two leave the room, you took the opportunity to sneak in and look around for anything valuable. It took thorough searching, but you found a bunch of money and jewels.

Grabbing them, you put them in a sack and left as the couple returns. After examining what you stole, you then returned to a hideout you created and lay down on a mattress to rest. Soon, you woke up and felt something heavy.

You looked and saw Yasaka hugging yourself. You were left surprised, but began to feel strangely... comfortable with this. Almost as if she was treating you as her own child.

You slowly released yourself from her grasp and left the room you're staying in. You walked around the building and looked at some relics that are stored in displays.

"Tempting," you commented, "but I'm not going to kick a woman after she recovers."

You then left the house and looked at the forest outside of the barrier. The young kitsune from yesterday appears and approached you.

"Hello, mister," she said.

"Hi. Kunou, correct? Just making sure I'm not getting your name wrong."

Kunou: "That's correct. Thanks again for bringing my mother back."

"It's no big deal."

Kunou: "You're a thief aren't you?"

"Yes. But don't worry, I'm not going to steal from you and your mom."

Kunou: "I do like to show some appreciation for you bringing her back. We can spare some money if that's what you want."

"No need to do that. I know this sounds crazy, but I prefer a challenge when it comes to collecting money. Besides, I only take from the wealthy who think they're untouchable."

Kunou: "That I can get behind in a sense. Still, is there anything we can do to repay you?"

"Nothing really comes to mind."

"Then would you be interested in coming here for dinner?"

The two of you turned to see Yasaka out of bed.

"I guess I can do that when I get back."

Yasaka: "Where would you go?"

"To one of the cities, see who is in need of assistance getting around the legal issues of things."

Yasaka: "There's a city 6 miles East of here. Hope we see you again."

"I'm sure you will. Take care Yasaka. You too Kunou."

The two kitsunes waved bye to you as you left the village and began walking through the forest.

"Normally, I want nothing to do with the other races," you thought, "but those two, I don't mind paying a visit."

You soon saw a walled city far in the distance and began heading for it.
