"Prince Enzo!" Yelled my royal adviser, I was doing something I loved shooting an arrow at targets, but my royal adviser, Janylin, who keeps reminding of my royal duties, especially the masquerade ball being held in my honor on my birthday, In a couple of weeks from now, "You're highness, listen to me." He was trying so hard to get my attention but failed. I did not care for no masquerade ball especially since my mother picked it out.

Speaking of my beloved mother, here she come with that queen like appeal as she walked closer to me, I put the bow down. My mother patted my back, "Ah, my son." She looked at Janylin and shooed him away with her hand, and he bowed politely to her and then took his leave.

After Janylin was gone, my mother looked at me from the corner of my eye, "Well, my son, I know you don't want this masquerade ball-" her voice dropped for a second then continued, "But," Her voice quivered, and she turned to me fully "I may not be around forever, my beloved, that is why I want you to have the masquerade ball." This is a side mom never shows me, she stays strong because of her people and me: seeing her breakdown in front of me, is heartbreaking to see- I embraced my mother with my arms tightly, showing her I'm here.

She was shocked at the gesture, but she returned the embrace, and we stood there for a couple of seconds, just a mother and son's embrace, I heard my mother say "I love you." In my ear, but just kept holding onto me.

After a couple of minutes, she broke the embrace and kissed my head, "Bye, my son." As she left, leaving my sight as a new person, she didn't hide her feelings for me to see her a model as well her people that respect her every day.

After mom left me for a couple of seconds I went to my room, laying on my bed thinking of my mother, and why would she hide that from me, I decided to sneak out to go to villages to calm down a bit.

I put on my village's clothing I got while shopping one time at town, I put them on, and got the rope out from under my pillow, and tied the rope onto my pole, I tied it in loose not so it will be easy to get out, I climbed down the rope, and I yanked the rope down and put the rope in a tree hole.

I went quietly and sneakily to get out of castle wall, I saw guards on patrol and I slowly slipped behind them, and left the castle walls.

The village won't that far from the castle, I just had to walk down a hill: I walked down the hill making sure not to have my foot slip. I reached the village, and I walked through it like a normal person, nobody noticed me being a prince which was good to not have people knowing who you are.

Then I noticed a café, and I walked in- I saw two people at a table, one was a girl who looked like she is 17 years with brown hair that slipped down her shoulder, and those blue eyes: but she seems sad like she didn't want to be there. Then there was a man across from her that look to be 20 years old, and he seemed to have black hair with was short, but it was messy, his eyes are hard to make out.

The girl was swirling her straw in her drink, while the man was talking her ear, the girl looked very beautiful- she looked like an angel- I hit my head from the thought, but I didn't notice the girl was looking at me.
