Alhaitham-Admonishing Instruction

It's been hours and we're still sitting here. Come to think of it, we haven't had any food since the games started. I look over at Maya, who is still sad about killing Kazuha.

"Hey, I'm gonna go find some food, and shelter if possible, wanna come?" I ask her.

No answer.

"Maya?" I ask nudging her.

"Hm? What's up?" She asks me.

Seriously. Was she straight up ignoring me the whole time?

"You wanna go find some food and shelter?"

She jumps off the broken remains of the Fountain of Lucince and nods. We start walking towards the forest in hopes of finding some fruit. As I'm about to enter the forest I see Maya just standing there looking at the trees. The leaves are falling around her. It looks really pretty. That's when I realized....

Tighnari is in the games. Maya's twin. If anything she probably doesn't want to lose another sibling. Not again. In the sky last night her two younger sisters Qiqi and Yaoyao were projected into the sky. Dead. She cried herself to sleep that night.

I walk over to her.

"Maya come on. We have to go." I say to her

Then suddenly I hear a rustle in the bushes. Then I see a blue arrow. And it's headed straight for the back of Maya's head.

"MAYA LOOK OUT!" I scream at her before running and tackling her to the ground.

The arrow just misses the top of my head and hits a tree. I stand up, pull out my sword and hold it out in front of me.

"Who's there?!" I shouted towards the bushes.

No answer.

"Don't ignore us!!" Maya screamed at the bushes.

Then out of the bushes, steps out none other than Tartaglia.

"Maya...We meet once more." He says to Maya.

I can already tell...by his tone of voice....I'm pretty sure they're not friends.

" Childe!?" Maya exclaims.

"Well, well, well." Tartaglia or "Childe" says. "It looks like we meet under the circumstances that Arlechinno said to have you killed....it makes it easier for all of us....you are a worthy opponent."

What is going on? Arlechinno ordered to have Maya killed. That surge of protection again. I'm not gonna let her die. Childe starts shooting arrows at us and we manage to block every one.

Then all of a sudden he changed to using his spear and threw it at us. More like he threw it at Maya. No. I'm not gonna let that happen. Judging by the speed of the spear I wouldn't be able to get to it and grab it on time. There was only one option left.

I ran in front of Maya and the spear that was supposed to hit her, hit me instead. Everything was blurry as I fell to the ground feeling the pain in my chest. I saw a blurry shadow of a person pulling the spear out of my chest making me dizzier. I saw blurs of blue fighting blue. Maya and Childe. I put a hand to where the spear hit me and felt heavy bleeding. Was this the end? I closed my eyes waiting.

Eventually I could hear the fighting stop, Maya screaming at Childe who was running away.

"COME BACK HERE YOU COWARDLY RAT!!!!" Maya screamed at him.

"WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET! WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?! YOU!! RAT!!"

Even though the sounds are blurry I can still hear Maya screaming. Don't ever make Maya angry. It's just a fact of life.

I hear the sound of a wood scraping wood and a rustic string sound. A bow and arrow.

"WE'RE NOT DONE HERE!" She screamed,as she said this I heard the arrow scraping the wood of the bow and somebody falling behind me.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!" Maya screamed into the forest.

That was how Childe or as Maya likes to say, rat died. I finally open my eyes and see Maya above me.

"Oh my god..." She says.

"Is it....really that bad?" I ask her.

"Very."

Maya starts trying to stop the bleeding. Then she pulls out some bandages and uses them on me.

"Come on we are gonna get somewhere safe, we won't survive out here in the open, then I can fully help you."

Maya helps me to my feet, slings my arm around her shoulder, and we start walking into the forest. Eventually we find a cave and she seats me against a wall in the cave. Soon after we sit down, we get ambushed in the cave.
