"Do we go to the police?" Mark and I stood staring at each other we both didn't know, we had never done anything this bad ever; and I think the worst thing I'd done was drink under the american drinking age(21). We decided it would be best to at least say goodbye to everyone before we went to the authorities. So I started my walk to Jamie's.
• time skip to Jamie's house•
The door opened up to reveal Jamie in her 'lounging around the house' wear she had her hair up and her nail polish covered sweatpants on, but she still looked beautiful. "Hey jack, you okay?" Her joyful tone changed into concerned. When she saw how sad I looked. "What's wrong?" She said holding my hands. "I-i have to go away for a while and I dont know if I'm coming back," "what? What happened? your leaving? No, you can't we-we just, aren't you happy?" I started to actually realize what was happening, me and mark killed someone, and we were going to turn ourselves in. I began to cry , Jamie stopped asking me questions and just gave me a hug like she wasn't ever going to be able to hug me again and I didnt know if she was.
We went inside and just watched Netflix as if nothing was wrong. We laughed and watch the movie. I was gonna Miss this. I was gonna miss her.

Jack and I had decided to meet up at the police station at 8 that should give us enough time to say goodbye.

I walk up to Stacy's and she's on the porch. "Hey" I said stepping up her steps. "Oh Mark!I missed you." She says noticing I'm here. She engulfs me in a hug. "I missed you too, but I have to leave." She's caught off guard as I release from the hug. "OK well I'll see you at school tommorow right?" I sigh "I'm afraid not. Jack and I did something-" before I could finish my explanation she cut me off. "Was it Dark?" She said fear filling her eyes. "What?" My vision started to go blurry.

Stacy POV

"What do y-" before i could finish Darks lips were pressed onto mine at first I tried to pull away put I melted into the kiss. "oh hey mark sorry I guess I just blacked out what were we talking about." " oh dont worry about it I was just leaving." He said. "Okay um, see u at school tommorow." I said happily.

earlier Darks POV

My eyes start to regain vision. I'm at Stacy's. "Hey love, miss me?" I said  "What? But how'd you?"  she said confused. "Oh did I forget to mention that when u mention me to mark I come out to play? Silly me always forgetting." I said with a evil grin. " but thats not important because you won't rember any of this." "What do y-" I pressed my lips on hers in order for her to forget about me. Then poof the memories were gone in an instant. When we broke she spoke up "oh hey mark sorry I guess I just blacked out what were we talking about." " oh dont worry about it I was just leaving." I said. "Okay um, see u at school tommorow." She said blissful ignorance. I walked back to the spot where we were going to meet. I was a few minutes early and jack wasn't there yet. In order for my plan to work I had to go back to the shadows and become Mark.

Marks POV

My eyes started to unblur and I was outside the police department but how? A few minutes later Jack walked up. "Hey Mark you ready?" I nodded.
We walked up to the desks where a lady was typing on her computer.  "How may I help you boys?" "Uh-um we'd like to report a m-murder." Jack stammered out. "Oh gosh okay um, go over there to that table get some forms fill them out and give them to the officers over there." We nodded.
•Time skip•
"You mean to tell me you killed a man but nither you nor your friend remember it?" Officer Stevens said. "Yes sir, but we don't know how or why but we just woke up and i found the picture and-" "are you on drugs?" "Wha-" "are you arguing with a officer?!" I just sat there shocked as Jack and the officer 'argued' about how we were on drugs, this was a prank and that jack was an illegal immigrant. Which none were true. After the interrogation he us go.
"Mark I don't know what to do, the police won't believe us and I can't think of anyone else to tell." Jack said as we walk to the empty parking lot. "I don't know either Jack." My phone started going off as an alarm, 'Dark it's time to play' my phone read. My eyes started to blur again the last thing I saw was Jack falling to the ground.
