"I-I I just wanted to know while I could" I sat on the edge of the bed my knee resting against her thigh. "You could've asked me any time I wouldn't have cared, it's not like one question can change anything" she nodded in response "I'm sorry, I know what it's like to like someone and them not like you back." Wait who does she like? Could it be Roman? No that's insane.

"I'm sorry, I know what it's like to like someone and them not like you back." Roman. I thought briefly then quickly shaking away the thought. she has a girlfriend. I think. Well then why would she be like the way she is? No one is just that nice for no reason. "Well I'm gonna let you rest." Jamie said getting up and shutting the door quietly before I could object.

I walked down through the halls to get to the 300's I pasted a window, I looked out to see birds on the roof while it continued to lightly rain. I walked down the rest of the hall till I got to Lexa's room I opened the door silently to see Roman with her head in her hands. "You know she loves you more than she says." I said sitting in the seat on the other side of the bed. "She really does, she just doesn't know how to express it." Roman wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at me; her still holding Lexa's hand. "Can you believe it's been 4 years?" I smiled at all the fond memories I have of them together. "After she got done with high school and after college I was gonna propose. I love my kiddo to pieces. I want to be with her all my life and if I die next week I would be fine with that as long as I could see the light in Lexa's eyes one more time." She said as her gaze traveled from me to Lexa. "Why not after high school?" "Because I care about her and I don't want her focused on her love life instead of school." Roman really was what Lexa needed. What she never had; Love, attention, hope. "You mean so much to her." A tear trickled down her face. "She means more to me than you or her could ever know." She grasped her hand tighter and kissed it "listen I gotta go, ask the front desk to give you guys all a note from school the police will probably give you one too. Hey stay safe okay. And watch out for my kiddo there." She said looking at Lexa longingly for her to wake then, but she didn't so Roman left. "You hear that Lexa, she's gonna propose. So you should somehow find away and pull threw please, for me? And if not me Roman? We all miss you and we can't live without you. I called Nanny but you know her she's probably just to heartbroken to see you. Not that you care but I figured out what I want. What I've always wanted, to be happy, and not wait till Andy falls for me because I fell once my wound is healing I don't need another one. So I'm gonna look for someone else, which I don't think I have to look far. I have plenty of people that care about me." I smiled at the memory of Jack and I in the parking lot looking at the lights, and for once words weren't needed. After a minute I left to look for him, he was still messing with the vending machine. "Hey..." I said quietly. By now it was almost silent other than the sound of muffled tv's through the thin hospital walls. "You okay?" Jack said grabbing the snack from the machine and walking over toward me. I was just short enough I reached his nose. "Other than my best friend lied to me and my cousin that was my role model and the only person I could randomly talk to about my problems is in a coma which is just the same as being dead but without closure." He could hear the hurt in my voice. But before he could say anything I was talking again. "We should probably get home and get the notes and stuff for school." He nodded and we made our way to the front desk. Jack said he would start the car while I got an excuse for skipping and stuff. I got greeted by the Sara girl again this time she looked tired. But still maintained her happy glow. "Um hi again one sorry for being so anxious earlier and two I was told we were gonna have notes for school?" She smiled a little and responded "it's fine I understand what it's like to have a loved one in the hospital and yes you will get a note Jamie was it?" She said calmly typing something on her computer and then her printer made a noise "so Andy Foxe, Jamie Rovio, Alexa Corinne, and who else?" I thought for a moment "I think that's all." She handed me the note and went back to her other work. I walked to the parking lot to find Jack while looking at the note Sara gave me. She has nice handwriting. I thought before I bumped into something before I could comprehend anything I apologize. "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where i was going I was in my own world ya' know?" I said picking up the box that the person had dropped I grabbed it and handing it to the person. I handing the box over finally looking at the person's face. "Felix?,"
