Chapter Three Robert Dixon
Chapter Three
Robert Dixon
Robert, the young man who had fallen to the ground, looked at his white shirt, which had remained clean in stark contrast to his black coat; he got up without paying attention to the person who had caused him to fall, took off his coat and held it tightly; he was confused and of course upset, not knowing where he was going or even where he was passing, he glanced at his mobile phone; he just wanted to get away from the hospital. He said to himself, "Why did this happen?! Why did you save me?" Then his eyes fell on a violin on a bench nearby and he approached the bench; he began to break the violin in a mad rage; until finally he heard the familiar voice of a woman saying, "What happened! Why are you so angry?"
When Robert looked up and saw her, he couldn't believe that by chance he had run into Anna Walberg again. He smiled; a smile that said what are you doing here?!
Anna Walberg said, "I never thought I'd run into Robert Dixon like this after a few days of no news. This is what they call fate."
The drizzle began.
Robert said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do this at all, I didn't know this violin was yours. Why did you leave your instrument like this?"
Anna just said, "So it's true that you hate music; I just don't understand why you proposed to a musician with these feelings?"
Robert, while looking at the violin he had ruined with some regret, sighed and said, "I'm sorry, I went crazy for a moment, I was lost in my thoughts; to make up for it, I'll buy you one of the best ones."
Anna shrugged and said, "No need." She seemed upset.
Robert was silent, but he sighed. Anna broke the silence and said, "Why are you upset? I should be upset, not you! Why did you mess everything up two days before the wedding?"
"Because anyone who gets close to me gets hurt, even you, and I don't want that. It's a dangerous game."
"What game! Have you gone mad?!"
"So you didn't look at that CD? That black CD I gave you."
As Anna was packing her bag and belongings to leave, she said, "Because you said there were bad things about you on that CD, I never looked at it, I never do this; besides, I have to go on a date, I don't have time." Then she left; but she hadn't gone far when Robert loudly said, "My father is in the hospital; he can't walk anymore."
Anna stopped and turned back to Robert. She seemed upset and worried but didn't say anything because she was shocked.
Robert said, "He can't walk anymore because of me; because of me. Anyone who is close to me gets hurt in some way because I'm a madman, I'm a monster, I'm not what I seem. That's why I wanted it to end because I don't want any harm to come to you."
"I'm really sorry, but I think you feel guilty about this when you're not at all."
"Because of saving my life, he became like this; I'm worried, why don't you understand me?"
"You're worried about my health, but I don't understand why."
"I can't explain; believe me."
"You confronted me with an ambiguous fear without any explanation. Why do you scare me without explaining? If I matter to you, end this discussion forever, Robert."
"I'm very happy to see you here. For the last time, if you want an explanation, watch the movie on the black CD."
While Robert was saying this to Anna, he noticed a woman with a white suit and long, straight golden hair wearing red glasses; passing by while saying something slowly holding a notebook.
