Chapter Sixty-Four

     Martin Holland reached out to take the gun from Peter's hand and said, "Calm down, it was just a lie to stay alive. He wanted to kill me." He was in a hurry.
   "Get your hand off, I'm not a bad shot. Why did you hit me on purpose? Why did you bring me here? What trouble did you want to cause me? Who are you anyway?"
   Martin laughed and said, "We had a little accident for the sake of getting to know you."
   "You're lying. How do you know Josh Collins?"
   Martin thought to himself, "So you really don't know anything! It seems I acted too soon." Then he said, "Peter, listen, I don't want to hurt you; I just wanted to talk to you." As he left the room, he said, "James, get ready, I want to see Beatrice."
