Chapter One Hundred and three Martin

Chapter One Hundred and three
Martin

James Cobb approached Martin quickly, bent down and whispered in his ear: "Mrs. Marks is waiting for you in the next room; she wants to give you some important news." Then he stood there.
Martin said: "I'll be back soon, it will only take two minutes." Then he got up and went to the next room; when he closed the door behind him; Mrs. Marks said: "Those phones were my work."
   "You heard our words?"
   Mrs. Marks nodded her head.
   "Why did you do that?"
"It was your idea; I just did it according to what you told me."
   "But I regretted it."
   "But you didn't say anything."
"What happened that you came here?"
"As you wanted, we followed Mr. Collins for a while, Mr. Collins went to a travel agency and got two tickets to Paris."
"What are two tickets to Paris for?"
"The important point is that Mr. Collins went to his brother's restaurant after buying two tickets."
"How interesting. Watch out for Mr. Moyes too."
"In my opinion, we should do something as soon as possible; maybe this is your last chance."
Martin said: "On the contrary; I will reach my goal soon." Then he returned to Anna and Robert.
Anna said: "You completely confused me, now I have no confidence in anyone or anything; I'm not even sure that sitting here now is not a dream."
Martin Holland said as he sat on the chair: "Life has always been and is a big puzzle, but trust me, I tell you the truth."
Robert said: "But you might lie too."
Anna said: "But I trust this man. Please continue the discussion."
Martin said: "Tell me the story of that house that they told you for me."
Anna said: "That night when Mr. and Mrs. Collins were guests of my family, the house caught fire at midnight; my parents returned to the house to save my sister, but the rubble fell on their heads and they died. The fire was intentional. Now I ask you, was that fire your work?" Anna asked this question with a scream.
"Do you think so or are you sure?"
Anna said softly and shakily: "I'm sure."
   "Why are you so sure?"
Anna said with a stutter: "My mother's words." She no longer had any self-confidence; it was clear from her face.
Robert took Anna's hand and said softly: "Calm down Anna."
Martin said: "You said you trust me, but it's not like that. I brought you here and told you that "you have to choose whether I live or die." I said it very seriously, so if I'm guilty, I'll never deny it."
   "Okay; continue."
"Mrs. Dixon, are you sure that Mr. Collins was in that house that night or not?"
"No, I'm not sure, I'm not sure of anything; maybe my mother lied."
"Maybe she didn't know the truth."
Mr. Cobb ran into the room and said: "Your brother is at the end of the street and is coming here; we don't have time, we have to go."
Martin said: "I'll see you again."
