Chapter One Hundred and Eighteen
Martin
 
     After Josh left, Martin went looking for James and angrily asked him, "Why is Christine missing? Whose work could this be?"
   A man opened a door in one of the rooms and shouted, "Please come here quickly; the cameras show a woman arguing with Mr. Collins."
   Martin and James quickly entered the room and looked at the display showing the front of the house. James, surprised, said, "Amy!" and wanted to leave, but Martin put his hand on his shoulder and said, "Don't go; look, Josh is looking into the camera."
   The same man who had reported said, "That woman has a gun!"
   James asked, "Should I tell one of our people on the street to intervene?"
   Martin said, "Have them watch from a distance, but under no circumstances should they shoot Amy." Then he saw both of them get into Mr. Collins' car and talk inside the car, so he said, "Tell them to follow if they move."  After they left the room, he said, "Amy might work in my favor and get a confession out of her." Martin didn't know what he was doing; why did he even leave the room?
   "Maybe Josh will lie; then things will end badly for you."
   "That's why the person following them will shoot Josh if necessary."
   "You want to kill him, but how do you know if Josh is lying; we don't know what they're saying to each other?!"
   "On the contrary, we do know; using the microphone we installed in that car."
   Martin looked at James's face and said, "Why are you looking at me with surprise or even anger?"
   "Do you really want to kill Josh?"
   Martin said, "If he lies and makes my life worse than it is, what should I do?! I won't allow it." Then he re-entered the same room and put on headphones to listen to Josh and Amy's conversation.
