Chapter Ninetieth
Evelin Dixon
 
     On Monday, November 13th, Evelin and Steve were sunk in a silent depression after breakfast, when Evelin said impatiently: "Martin really doesn't have a good mental state. Why hasn't he done anything special since I called him and provoked him?"
   Steve shrugged and said: "You only found the courage to tell Martin that he was innocent after all these years; for Martin, saying this is too late and really crazy and makes people angry."
   "I can't tell Martin everything, I still don't have the courage. Please go and see him and help him."
   "Okay, I'll go see him today."
   "I'm going to that house to continue this story."
   "Who do you mean?"
   Evelin smiled but said nothing.
   Steve said: "Will you come back home later?"
    Evelin just kept silent.
   "Why don't you go to Rebecca?"
    "No; I have to take care of my family."
   "Your son doesn't have a good relationship with me; me and Robert really need you, Rebecca is also very homesick for her mother. We are a family with you, don't repeat Martin's mistake; we endure any hardship and danger together."
   Evelin squeezed Steve's hand affectionately and said: "If you think Martin's work was wrong, then I won't make this mistake. Thank you for staying with me all these years."
   Steve said: "I do anything for you and I'm going to Martin right now." Then he said: "Wait for me."
   "I decided today to do whatever it takes to end this story, but I won't tell Martin this story because he can't believe me."
   "Maybe you're right."
