It's time to evangelize.

I approached them and sat on the bench facing them. I put my bag beside me and took a deep breath.

"What are you holding?" Jane asked, pointing to my Bible.

"It's my Bible. Mind if I preach to you?" I asked.

They looked at each other as if deciding if they want me to share His Word. They then faced me and with a smile and eyes filled with excitement, they nodded. I gestured for them to bow their heads and pray. They did as were told and even closed their eyes.

"Yes, Lord, I thank you for this opportunity to help you find your sheep and draw these children near to you. Thank you for using me to evangelize these amazing kids and I pray that you take over my mouth for what I'm about to say to them. I surrender this moment to you, O God and I pray that you bless their family with prosperity and happiness until you call them home. This I ask, In Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen."

"Amen." The kids said in unison.

"So, let's get started! Who knows who God is?" I asked.

The three of them raised their hands as if it was a session in class. I chuckled before picking Lea. "God is our creator!" she said.

"That's right. Now, do you love God?" I asked.

"Yes!" the three of them exclaimed.

"Good! God loves you, too. But there is an enemy. Do you know Satan?"

"Yes! He is evil!" Anna exclaimed.

"Yes, he is. For that reason, he manipulates us into doing sinful acts that disgraces God. That is why God sent His only begotten Son to die for us on the cross. Do you know who He is?"

"It's Jesus!" Jane yelled, I gave her a thumbs up.

"That's right! Now as thanks for Him, we pray and resist sin." I was stopped as I saw Anna's hand raised and I gestured for her to share her thoughts.

"May I ask, why are you doing this?" she asks.

"Well, it's because I love God and this is the purpose He gave me for living. I love Him so much that I'm willing to break out of my comfort zone just to evangelize and draw people near to Him. Just as what I'm doing right now!" I said and they replied with their cute smiles.

"Now I ask you: What are you going to do now?" I ask.

"We have to avoid sin and resist temptation. We will not let Satan ruin the relationship we have with God. We don't want to go to hell! We want to be happy with God in Heaven. Right, guys?" Anna said.

"Right!" Lea and Jane exclaimed.

"Yes! It's amazing that the Lord has touched your lives today and changed you for the better."

"We're not done yet!" Anna yelled.

I gave her a puzzled look and so did Jane and Lea.

"We have our friends on the stage! We'll evangelize them!" she started grabbing me by my hand and I followed. We went back to the stage and I saw other children running around playing tag. They gave us a wave once they saw us.

"Who is he?" the kid with the blue shirt asked.

"This is Gray. He introduced us to God and we want you to experience what we have experienced!" said Jane.

"Yes! Gray, you go sit there while we talk to them! We will preach!" said Lea with a glowing face.

"But—"

"As you said, you're doing this because you love God! Well, we love Him too. That is why it's our turn!" Anna exclaimed. I gave them a calm look and a high five. I sat on the side and watched as they talked about God's love with their friends.

It's an amazing sight to see. These are children who are preaching His word to their friends. Their friends are responding and are happy with what is happening. It really warms my heart to see how God can make even the littlest of children be instruments in spreading His Word. Even though they don't have a Bible in hand, they are still delivering the message of God through their lips.

After they prayed, they approached me and hugged me one by one. I, in return, hugged them all back and prayed for them.

"Wow, Gray! You're amazing!" My classmate, Claire, appeared holding her phone up so she could take a picture of the scene. "Come close and compress! This needs to be taken a picture of!"

We did as we were told and stood in front of her. We adjusted our positions in such a way that all of us will be seen.

"1, 2, 3!"

After the picture taking, they said goodbye and ran off somewhere to play. Claire and my other classmates were waiting for me on the other side of the plaza. I joined them as we left for our presentation practice.

While walking, I keep thinking about all the things that happened today. Who would've thought that I could evangelize children and influence them to do the same for others? Yes, I have a skill for public speaking but I have a script. That evangelism is a whole other experience that I would have never done without the Lord's guidance.

That night, I messaged Jet, Denver, Vince and Janette. My experience today made me ore inspired to evangelize others and that is why I wanted us to evangelize once again as a group. And when we evangelize, it will not just focus on children but on adults as well!

We settled a date in which we are going to evangelize and said our good nights. I turned off my laptop, prayed and went to sleep with a smile still plastered on my face.

Evangelizing children was kind of hard but it left an amazing feeling. How would it feel like if I were to evangelize adults?

I guess we'll wait and see.

That picture was supposed to be posted on the page of our church but unfortunately, I, being one of its admins took it down because my parents or relatives may see it. So until now, it has been saved on my laptop and I'm happy to have shared it with you guys.

I want to let you know that evangelizing people is an amazing thing to do. If you are scared that you may say something wrong, just pray and let God take over your lips and He will speak to them!

I encourage you now to spread His word to the people you know and let them be saved before Christ's coming!
