It's been 12 years since the Titans mysteriously disappeared. I moved to San Francisco not long after they left, I couldn't live with the pain of loosing them. One day, as I'm on my way back home from work at the coffee shop, I check my phone for messages. After being on there for a couple of minutes, the screen starts glitching.
"What the heck?" I say frustrated. But then I see a familiar face. It's fuzzy, but I see an image of a green faced boy with pointy ears.
".....Beast Boy?" I say to myself. To avoid standing in people's way, I move over between two nearby buildings.
"Is it working?" Beast boy asks.
The screen changes, revealing another old friend.
"Almost got it" echoes Cyborg.
Seeing his face makes me start crying as I keep watching.
"Hurry, there is not much time" says Starfire as the screen shifts again, everything still glitching, then it turns to Raven.
"They need to know we're still here"
My eyes widen at that statement, and I cry even harder. I sit down on the ground and keep watching.
"Boo-yah! We're transmitting!" Cyborg says in the background.
The screen shifts one more time and Robin is there, the glitching stops.
"This is the Teen Titans, can anyone hear us?" He asks. He backs up to reveal the whole team in the living room of Titans Tower.
"We think we've found a way back"
I smile, with tears still streaming down my face.
The screen glitches again, and the video disappears, the screen back to the home page.
"What? No! Come back! What happened? Nonononononono!!!!!" I say frantically as I drop the phone in my lap. I cup my face in my hands and start sobbing. They're coming back, but how? Could I help them? Where have they been for twelve years? I decided to head home, I knew one person I could talk to who could help me out.

Terra.

When I get to my apartment, my roommate, Isaiah, is playing a video game in the living room. He looks over his shoulder and sees me.
"Hey are you okay Liz? What's wrong?" He asked.
"It's nothing, I have to go make a call" I say quickly as I toss my purse onto the counter, carrying my phone into my room.
I quickly find her name in my contacts, and put the phone to my ear. It rings three times before she picks up.
"Hello?"
"Terra! Something happened on my phone today, I can't tell you here, but meet me tomorrow at the library and I'll explain everything!"
"Okay, but wait, I'm confused, what's going on?" She asked.
I quietly whispered into the phone.
"Let's just day for now that it has to do with Beast Boy and the others" I said.
She gasped, and hung up.
I put my phone on my nightstand and opened the door to leave, but Isaiah was standing right by the doorway.
"Beast Boy?" He asked.
"Why were you listening to my conversation? That was private!" I said.
"How much do you know about them, the Titans?" He asked, "because I happen to know a bit too, 12 years ago, I wasn't Isaiah Crockett, I was Hotspot"
He walked over to the drawer by the window, and pulled out.... a Titans Communicator. I pulled out mine from my purse.
"Robin trained me, and Cyborg taught me about computers, they called me Tech Note" I confessed.
I sat down and told him about the video, and how I noticed that they were in the Tower, and the only other person I knew that also knew the Titans was Terra.
"Who is she anyways?" Isaiah asked.
"She was a friend who fought with the Titans," I explained, avoiding the fact that she betrayed them, "a few years ago, she used too much of her powers and it turned her to stone, fast forward to about three years later, she somehow managed to turn back to normal. She had a fresh start, and she wanted to lead a normal life, Beast Boy found her, but she ended up convincing her that he found the wrong girl"
"Whoa, seriously?" He said.
"Yeah, after the Titans disappeared, she found me, and we came here to San Francisco together, we went on separate paths, but we still talk sometimes" I finish.
"So, are you two going back to Jump City to take a look at the Tower?" Isaiah asked.
"If Terra agrees, yes" I say.
"Then count me in, too!"
