The Teacher/Student Scandal - Chapter Eleven

The room erupted with children's screams the moment Jin walked through the door, the teenager sitting down on the floor carefully and allowing all of the toddlers to tackle and hug him.
    "Hello everyone...! How's my favorite kids doing...?" Jin smiled, all of the toddlers letting out a chorus of 'good's
    "Alright my children, let Jin get comfortable. He's got a really bad booboo on his foot, so be careful." Night said, setting Jin's bag by her desk.

The toddlers all collectively gasped and scrambled away to look at his foot, Jin giving a nervous smile.
    "Mom, I think you broke them..." He said as he carefully got up, making his way over to a table and sitting down.
    "Miss Night, can we color on his booboo?" One of the toddlers asked, patting gently on Jin's cast.
    "That's up to Jin Olivia, you have to ask him." Night smiled, pulling her hair back and tying her apron.
    "Jin?" Olivia asked, making the teen laugh. "Pwease?"

Jin felt his heart melt and he laughed again, putting his cast up on table.
    "Have at it kiddos..." He smiled, squeals coming from the kids as they each took turns drawing things and coloring on his cast. They colored until there was no more room, his cast littered in many childish drawings by the end which made the pregnant teen smile.
    "Alright kids, it's time for lunch! Who's hungry?" Night asked, a chorus of 'me's coming from her kids. "Okay! Take your seats and I'll pass out today's lunch!"

All the kids ran and found their seats, Jin seated at one of the tables with four of the children. Night walked around and sat down a plate with a sandwich on it in front of each of the kids, each child getting their favorite sandwich along with a juice box.
    "Thank you Miss Night!" Everyone said, digging into their lunch.
    "You're very welcome! After lunch, we're doing arts and crafts, so make sure you wash your hands when you finished." Night smiled, setting a peanut butter sandwich in front of Jin. "I know how much you've been craving  peanut butter honey bun."
    "Thank you mama..." He smiled, grabbing the water bottle he always has on him and taking a sip. Night kissed his head and walked back over to her desk, sitting down to get things organized

The kids talked amongst themselves and Jin just ate quietly, looking up when someone called his name.
    "Jin, how did you get your booboo?" One of the kids asked making Jin look down slightly.
    "Well... I was really clumsy, and I slipped down the stairs at home..." He explained simply, wincing at the sad looks the kids gave him.
    "Did it hurt really, really bad?" Another asked him, making him smile slightly.
    "It did hurt really bad, but I had to be brave so the nice doctor could fix me up..."
    "Wow! Was Miss Night proud of you for being brave?"
    "Of course she was... I had her with me so she made me feel even more brave..." Jin smiled, taking a drink of his water.
    "I have a question!" Another child said, bouncing in her seat.
    "What's your question sweetie...?" The teen asked, tilting her head.
    "Are you gonna visit more?"

Jin smiled and giggled softly, taking a bite of his sandwich.
    "I'll definitely try to, but you have to make sure you all behave... Miss Night will tell me if you don't..." He said, the last part a joke.
    "We will!" The kids said collectively, smiling at him.
    "All right, I'll take your word for it..."!

~~~
Nap time came two hours later and Jin let out a breath as he became a personal pillow for three toddlers, Night taking a picture with a smile. She walked over and knelt down to him, running her fingers through his hair gently, making him smile softly back.
    "These kids really love you baby boy..." She whispered to him. The pregnant teen nodded, holding the kids closer to him as they slept.
    "I know they do..." He said softly back. His thoughts drifted to his and Naoki's conversation earlier that morning and he frowned slightly.
    "Something on your mind...?" Night asked, sensing his distress.
    "Naoki asked me to move in with him this morning..." Jin said immediately, tears in his eyes. "I-I never thought about it before, but I'm considering it..."
Night felt her heart skip a beat but smiled softly nevertheless.
    "It's up to you baby... I don't want to tie you down..."
    "B-but I don't want to leave you yet... You've been the mother I lost six years ago, a-and I don't want to get rid of that..." Jin felt tears rushing down his cheeks, looking away from his mother. Night sighed softly and gently made him look at her, drying his tears gently.
    "Whatever you choose in the long end, I'm still your mother and I'll still support you... No matter what..." She said gently, smiling at him. Jin smiled softly back, leaning into her hand gently.
    "Thanks mama..."
    "Anytime my honey bun..."
The kids were woken back up forty-five minutes later and it was free time for them. Jin took the time to focus on some homework he had to do, humming along to the music that was playing in his headphones.
    "I don't like math..." He sang softly to himself, huffing in annoyance. His phone went off with a text alert and he looked down, seeing a text from Naoki.
    'Where are you? Did you go home?' The text read, making him giggle softly.
    'No, I'm at daycare with mom... She pulled me out of school for the rest of the day...' He sent back, getting back to work.
    "How you doing baby boy?" Night asked, checking up on him.
    "Struggling... I hate math so much..." He growled, glaring at the worksheet.
    "I know, but you got this honey. I believe in you." His mother smiled, kissing his head and walking off to keep an eye on her kids. Jin yawned heavily and rubbed his eyes, laying his head on the table for a minute.
A minute turned to an hour when he jumped awake suddenly, tears in his eyes as he tried to steady his breathing. Whenever he tried to get a little bit of sleep, there's always a nightmare waiting for him which made it harder to sleep. The teens got up and made his way out of the classroom for a breath of fresh air. He looked at his phone and noticed a missed call from Naoki, calling him back.
    "Hello?" His lover answered, making him smile slightly.
    "Hey Naoki... I saw you called..." Jin said softly, his voice a bit hoarse from sleep.
    "Hey babe, how are you doing? You sound exhausted."
    "I'm okay, I just woke up from a small nap..."
    "Oh? Do you feel a bit better?"
    "Not a damn bit..."
    "Oh baby..."
Jin dismissed it with a wave of the hand, letting out a breath.
    "I don't need pity right now Naoki, I get that enough from everyone else..." He said, shifting his foot under his weight better.
    "I'm not pitying you Jin, I'm looking out for you."
    "Well, I'm fine okay...? I've been fine like before, I can do it again..."
    "That's not healthy."
    "Neither is stress right now, but people have no problem causing it for me..."
    "You need to sleep."
    "You need to worry about yourself right now..." Jin retaliated, hanging up in annoyance. He sighed and shut his phone off completely, making his way inside the building again.
~~~

The evening rolled around quickly and Night and Jin were back at home, the two sharing a nice dinner with Hartz.
    "So, how was going to the daycare Jin? Night told me the kids were super excited to see you again." Hartz asked, looking at him with a smile.
    "It was a nice change of scenery... The kids drew all up on my cast and we all had a blast together..." Jin smiled slightly, leaning into his hand slightly as he ate. "School can go to hell though... I'm tired of being treated differently..."
    "Some bitch thought it was a great idea to harass him on his way to class. Said he couldn't leave early even though he's on crutches."
    "She made me trip and fall... I have bruising all up my arm and thigh..."

Hartz frowned at the story, his shift of mood immediately noticed.
    "There's really no more good left in the world is there?" He asked, picking at his meal.
    "Sometimes it can't be helped my love." Night sighed, standing once she finished her plate. She kissed his head and sat her dishes in the sink. "I'm going to take a shower real quick, so I'll be back down in ten minutes."

The blonde mother smiled at her boys and pecked Hartz' lips gently, kissing Jin's head before disappearing out of the dining room. Jin picked at his food and pushed the plate away slightly, the older male watching him for a minute.
    "Jin, when was the last time you actually ate a meal?" Hartz asked, noticing his fiance's son wince slightly.
    "You're gonna tell mama of I tell you..." Jin said softly, his cheeks tinted pink.
    "It depends on what you say."
    "I don't want to answer the question..."
    "You'll have to eventually."
    "Eat, or answer your question...?"
    "Both Jin."

The black-haired teen shook his head, yawning harshly and rubbing his eyes.
    "The same goes for sleep." Hartz added, making Jin look at him. "You look like a wreck."
    "I've been afraid to sleep..."
    "Because of what happened?"
    "Y-yeah... I've been wanting to ask mama if I could sleep in her bed with her, but I don't think she'll let me..." Jin frowned, a small amount of tears in his eyes. The teenager moved his way out of the kitchen in a hurry, sniffling as he passed Night and made his way upstairs. Night tilted her hand as she dried her hair, walking into the kitchen.
    "Hey there, what got him so upset?" She asked, looking at her fiance.
    "I was expressing my concerns about his health and I think I stepped a bit too far..." Hartz said softly, looking at her. The female smiled gently, walking over and kissing his head.
    "Its not that you overstepped honey. He's in a really sensitive place right now both physically and mentally so we just need to be with him."
    "Night, he hasn't eaten in god know how long, he's completely exhausted in every way possible. I'm very worried about him..."
    "And for good reason, but don't worry. He knows he has people who love and care for him."

Hartz sighed again and held her hand.
    "Baby, he's afraid to sleep by himself... He's been wanting to ask you if he could sleep with you, but he's worried you'll say no..." the lavender-haired male said softly, red and green eyes staring into her grey ones. Night smiled reassuringly and pat his hand gently.
    "I'll go talk to him..." She said, walking off and up the stairs. The mother knocked gently on her son's door, pushing the door open gently. "Jin baby, can we-" She stopped mid sentence as a scream teared out of her throat.

Jin laid on the floor with a pill bottle in his hand, his eyes open slightly but lost looking. Night ran over and looked him over and grabbed the bottle, paling even more when the once full bottle was now empty.
    "What happened?!" Hartz yelled, having sent himself up the stairs the moment he heard his fiance scream.
    "Call an ambulance! Jin overdosed!" Night sobbed, cradling her son in her arms. The man nodded and immediately pulled out his phone, calling 911. The blonde female cried and cradled her baby boy, hoping desperately that he's going to be okay.
    "The ambulance is coming baby, just hang on a bit longer." Hartz told her, kneeling by her and holding them both close.
    "H-hang on a little longer baby boy... We're getting you help..." Night cried softly, kissing his head.

~~~
    "Well we got him stable finally. He's on fluids to flush the drugs out of his system, so he's going to be okay." A doctor told Night and Hartz, the mother being incredibly grateful he's okay.
    "And what about the babies?" She asked, her hands clasped together tightly.
    "Their heartbeats are slightly irregular but that's because of the drugs he ingested. We're monitoring all three of them closely right now so he's gonna have to stay tonight."
    "Do whatever you need, I can't lose my baby boy..."
The doctor nodded and smiled slightly, bidding the two a good night. Night walked over to her son that lay in the hospital bed, kissing his head gently. He finally looked at peace, sleeping soundly on his side. The mother collapsed in a chair by the bed, a hand to her heart.
    "He's gonna end up giving me a heart attack..." She sighed, rubbing her eyes and adjusting her glasses.
    "Honey, I think he needs a therapist..." Hartz said to her, sitting beside her. "He's keeping all of these depressive thoughts locked away... He needs a professional to talk about everything that's going on within his head..."
    "Jin doesn't trust people that easily... Six years of not having a mother and constantly being beaten, he fought and cried against anyone he never met after he finally escaped the wrath of his father..." Night told him, holding his hand. "Hell, when I told him about you wanting to meet him for the first time, he immediately started getting panicky. He hardly trusted any other man he came across."
    "And for good reason... But it might be good him..."
A knock sounded on the door before it opened slightly, Naoki poking his head through the door.
    "Hello, am I interrupting?" He asked softly, Night shaking her head.
    "No, you're good. Come on in Naoki." The woman said, waving him in with a small smile. Naoki walked in and shut the door behind him, walking further into the room and looking his lover over.
    "How's he doing? How's the twins?" He asked, reaching down and petting his head gently.
    "He and the twins are okay... He's on fluids and they're keeping him for the night..."
    "How are you two holding up?" Naoki asked as he sat down, having already slipped his coat off.
    "I'm an absolute wreck right now... I've almost lost him so many times already, I feel like I'm gonna go insane..." Night answered, a slight laugh leaving her lips
    "I'm doing okay, trying to keep Night's head and my own steady during all this." Hartz laughed, leaning back into the chair.
Naoki smiled softly and rested his head on his hand, glancing at his pregnant lover.
    "Night, I'm assuming he's told you, I asked him about moving in with me this morning."
    "He has, but that's not up to me Naoki. That's a decision that Jin needs to make himself."
    "I completely understand, but that's not the only thing I want to talk to you about. There's one more."
    "And that is?"
    "I love Jin with all my heart and I want to care for and cherish him for the rest of my life." Naoki started, swallowing the lump in his throat. "When he's done with school, I want to marry him..."
The sentence made Night stop for a minute, leaning forward with a sigh.
    "Naoki, when I first met you, I didn't like you one bit. I thought your intentions with my baby boy were very predatory." The female started, noticing Naoki squirm in his chair. "But I did notice the impact you have on him, and it made me think. He started opening up more and he was finally happier than when I first brought him into my life. You're a good man, Naoki, and it'll be my pleasure to have you as my son-in-law."
    "So you'll let me marry him?" Naoki asked, his heart fluttering at the thought.
    "As long as you promise to love him unconditionally and to protect him from any harm."
    "Even if it kills me."
The confidence made Night laugh and smile, standing up and walking over to the teacher, holding a hand out to him.
    "Welcome to the family Naoki..." She told him, Naoki reaching up at taking her hand gently.
    "Thank you..."
