CHAPTER SEVENTY

ALIA

I SUCKED IN A nervous breath as I stared at myself in the floor length mirror. The dress is simple but elegant, with a sweetheart neckline and long lace sleeves. My breast are cover my thicker lace designed in different patterns. There's a slid in the front that starts about mid thigh. The dress is long dragging slightly on the floor. It was my mothers dress, some things had to be changed, but thankfully not much. It closes at the back with small, bead like buttons, about fifty of them.

My hair is tied up in a complicated up do that took about two hours to finish. Tyler did my makeup, light and natural.

"Okay, ladies. It's time." My aunt entered the room clapping her hands. "Let's go."

I turned watching as the girls walked out of the room followed by my aunt. My eyes moved to Tyler that stood there grinning like a maniac.

"I can't believe my baby sis is getting married!" She squealed stepping closer. "Are you nervous?"

"A little." I admitted giving her a sheepish smile. "Do you think he came?"

Her smile dropped slightly, eyes darkening in anger. She's not very happy about the fact that I have invited my real father. I figured that after everything that has happened that life is to short. He deserve a second chance just like I gave dad.

"It's time sweetheart." My dad spoke up from the doorway snapping our attention to him.

Giving my sister one last small smile I followed my father out of the room and into the hall. One of the bridesmaids handed me my boutique of light pink flowers. Someone pulled the veil over my head to cover my face.

With another shaky breath I placed my hand into the crook of my dad's arm. He gave me an encouraging smile as everyone got into position. The song started playing, the doors opening. My dad squeezed my hand making some of the tension leave my body.

I followed his lead, our steps slow as we stepped into the church. My eyes trailed around taking in our friends and family. I didn't see the man I'm looking for, which made my heart sink slightly. But then my eyes moved to the front, my stomach turning for a whole different reason.

My heart beat increased with every step we took. Closer and closer to Stephen.

He cleaned up well, I got to give it to him. His hair is combed back neatly and face clean shaven. The suit fits him perfectly, it looks like it was tailor made for him.

My eyes moved back up to his face, lips pulling up into a smile. His green eyes are completely focused on me, lips pulled up into a bright smile. He reached up pinching the bridge of his nose, his eyes dropping for a few seconds.

Reaching the alter my dad handed me over to him before moving to his seat. Stephen squeezed my hand turning to the priest.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to join these two in holy matrimony."

The rest of his words are lost to me. I can only focus of his thumb stroking the back of my hand. We haven't had sex in six weeks and it's killing me. After his proposal we ended up having sex in the car, and almost everyday after that. I've manage to pick up more weight thanks to him and his amazing cooking skills.

A tug on my hand snapped me back to earth. Stephen turned around and I followed looking up at him. He reached up slowly lifting the veil from my face.

"Your vows."

I suck in a shaky breath gripping his hand tighter. Our eyes lock.

"I give you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, to stand by your side in good times and in bad, to share your joy as well as your sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals and dreams, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, to share my hopes and dreams with you, and bring you solace in times of need... And to cherish you for as long as we both shall live."

Tears filled my eyes, I blinked them away trying not to ruin my makeup. Stephen gave me a small smile taking a step closer to me.

"I solemnly vow that I will safeguard and hold dear and deep in my heart our union and you. I promise to love you faithfully, forsaking all others, through the good times and the bad, in sickness and health, regardless of where life takes us. I will protect you, trust you, and respect you. I will share your joys and sorrows and comfort you in times of need. I promise to cherish you and uphold your hopes and dreams and keep you safe at my side. All that is mine is now yours. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love from this moment on for as long as we both shall live."

"Do you, Alia Julie Dune, take thee Stephen Daniels, to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"Do you Stephen Daniels, take thee, Alia Julie Dune, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

The priest gave us a smile. "Then I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

A giggle fell from my lips when Stephen wrapped his arms around my waist. His mouth instantly lowered to mine. Placing my hands on his arms I opened my mouth kissing him back with just as much heat.

We're married.

______________

GUEST ARE MINGLING WITH each other. Family and friends. The kids are standing at the food seeing how much they can eat. My dad sat by Patrick, holding a fuzzy Ruth while my sister stood by the DJ.

I glanced around again taking in all the decorations and fairy lights. They did a good job, it looks absolutely amazing. After taking in all the familiar faces, my shoulders dropped.

He's not here. Should have know he would never show, if he wanted to get to know me like he claimed, then he would have came.

Sharp pain filled my chest as I thought of my mom, tears filling my eyes. She should have been here on my big day. A hand on my arm made my head snap up, Tyler gave me a small smile.

"You okay?"

I shook my head feeling a tears trail down my cheeks. "Just thinking about mom."

She took my hand guiding me out into the early night. The sky is a bright pink and orange, the sky cloudless. Some fairy lights hung in nearby trees, a stone path led further. We walked further away from the building stopping by some tables and chairs. I sunk down into a chair wiping my cheeks.

"I wish she was here, Tyler."

"She is here." Tyler took hold of my hand guiding it up to my heart. "In here, she's with you each and everyday."

I smiled reaching out to hug her. More tears steamed down my cheeks as the guilt in me worsened. Footsteps neared making me pull away to wipe my cheeks. Looking up my eyes fell on Stephen and Patrick walking towards us. Concern flashed through his green eyes as he saw my tear stained cheeks.

Tyler gave my hand one last squeeze before standing and making her way towards them. I watched as she took Patrick's hand walking back to the building. Stephen glanced at them before walking over to me.

Kneeling in front of me he placed his hands on my knees, eyes searching my face in question. I gave him a small smile leaning down to capture his lips. Breaking the kiss I leaned my forehead against his.

"You okay?"

I swallowed giving him a nod. "I'm okay."

He stared at me silently, eyes searching, but thankfully he dropped it.

"What do you say we get out of here?" Stephen smirked his hand slowly slipping beneath the dress.

"We can't just leave."

"It's our wedding, baby. We can leave if we want to, nobody will realize." His hands slipped up a little higher. "I want my wife all for myself."

Pulling his hand out from beneath my dress, I stood up smiling down at him.

"You can have me all for yourself for the rest of your life." Holding out my hand I tilt my head to the side. "Come on Mr. Daniels, we need to cut the cake."

_______________

THE SKY IS DARK littered with thousand of millions of twinkling stars. The air is hot, waves crushing against the shore, it's the only thing breaking the silence. I sat silently on the blanket staring at the moon reflected in the water.

Stephen laid next to me staring up at the sky. We left the wedding after cutting the cake, much to Stephen's delight. Tyler and my aunt helped me change out of my dress and into something more casual.

Stephen had also changed into more comfortable clothes. After greeting them we headed out to the car. We've only just arrived at the beach house an hour ago. He said that we will be staying here over night before catching a flight tomorrow.

I don't know where we are going for our honeymoon.

Glancing at Stephen, my lips pulled up into a smile. It looks like he's about to fall asleep. I moved straddling his waist, my hands on either side of his head.

"Baby, what are you doing?" His voice is low, slightly husky.

"Nothing." I leaned down trailing kisses over his jaw and down his neck.

I bit down, sucking the skin. He groaned hands moving to my hips. Kissing lower I stopped at his collarbone, lifting my head to look down at him.

He sat up suddenly surprising me. Wrapping a hand around the back of my neck, he smashed his lips on my. I gripped his neck, hips grinding against his as the kiss got heated. Breaking the kiss, I sucked in air slowly opening my eyes.

"I need to tell you something." I stroked his cheekbone down to his lips.

Stephen hummed his lips moving down my neck. Slipping the straps of my dress down my arms, he exposed my bare breasts. The words are forgotten as his lips closed around my nipple. It made my hips jerk, a moan falling from my lips.

"Stephen."

"Yes, Mrs. Daniels?" A finger slipped over my panties finding that aching bud.

I moaned slipping my hands between our bodies to undo his pants. My hand wrapped around his length, stroking in rhythm with his finger. Lifting my body slightly he moved my panties aside.

I pushed myself up on my knees positioning him at my entrance. Our eyes locked as I slowly lowered myself onto him. He groaned making me smirk, I gripped him with my muscle's pulling him in deeper.

"What did you want to tell me?" He breathed with his mouth pressed to my neck.

Wrapping my arms around his neck I pulled him closer lips at his ear.

"I'm pregnant."
