Chapter Two, Gringotts

It was around lunchtime when the five Potters and two Evans' walked through the street of Diagon Alley, ignoring the looks, glares and whispers that followed them as people stared at Morgause clutched to Monty's hip and whispered over the emergency edition of the Daily Prophet where a detailed interview by Madam Bones herself exposed Dumbledore and Crouch for who they really were, the injustice imprisonment of a Lord and the real traitor to the Potters. However, the glares were from Dumbledore's staunch supporters who refused to believe that the renowned Headmaster would ever do such a heinous act.

But they paid it no mind as they walked up the steps of Gringotts bowing to the goblins at the door as they entered the magnificent bank.
"Good afternoon, Gluskard, May your gold forever flow. We would like to see our Account Manager Klild, if you please." Fleamont requested respectfully of the bank teller. Gluskard glanced over at them all critically for a moment before nodding his head.
"Of course Lord Potter. Right this way." He replied beckoning them down a white marble hallway once he'd climbed off of his stool. The walk down the hallway was a long one was a quiet one, as they were the richest in the Wizarding world they were further within the bank for security reasons. But soon enough they came to a cherry wood door gilded with golden hinges, doorknob and a plaque. The bank teller knocked sharply on the door, a second later a gruff voice called from within bidding them entry.

"Lord, Lady and Heiress Potter to see you Account Manager Klild, along with Mr and Mrs Potter, and Mr and Mrs Evans." Gluskard introduced as he opened the door.
"Ahh, Good afternoon Lord and Lady Potter. May your enemies fall at your feet." Klild smirked viciously, a dark gleam in his eyes. Once the general greetings had been uttered between each party and Gluskard returned to the bank foyer, the account manager continued. "I have unsealed your son's and daughter-in-law's wills, Lord Potter, I apologise for this and the previous Account Manager has been beheaded as demanded by our laws. Albus Dumbledore had no right to do so nor take your Heiress away from you."
"Seems to be a common occurrence within the Wizarding world." Charlus sneered.

"Quite." Klild agreed with a dark scowl at how much sway the old fool had with his fake geniality, even now with what has come to light in the past twenty-four hours. "What can I do for you all today?"
"We'd like Morgause to be checked over by a goblin Healer both due to what happened when her parents passed but also because we don't trust Dumbledore as far as we can throw him." Mia informed their Account Manager.
"Of course." The goblin agreed, sliding over the necessary parchment and ceremonial dagger over for the Inheritance Test so they will know what it is they are actually looking for and treating.
"Sorry sweetheart." Dorea muttered, kissing Morgause's forehead as she cast a mild Numbing Charm on her pointer finger and cut it with the dagger to allow the recommended three drops onto the parchment.

Due to the spell only being mild, Morgause still whimpered at the slight sting the cut caused but was quickly soothed by her grandfathers as Mia quickly healed the finger after Dorea had allowed the three drops to fall. While the others were distracting the baby Charlus watched as the parchment soaked up the blood only to reappear in black spider-like writing across the page; however, what he saw caused his Glamour Charm to fail for the third time that day.

The family sat in a stunned and horrified silence as they swallowed the rather bitter pill that was shoved down their throats by what they've just read; fury roiling inside of them like a bubbling volcano just waiting to erupt as their magic licked at their skin, fighting their control as it demanded retribution.
"I want all these blocks and this abomination removed from my granddaughter immediately!" Fleamont demanded, his Lord of the Forest attributes on clear display, same goes for Charlus who was now trying to calm Morgause who was reacting to all of the strong emotions within the room. It was clear the two brothers would have to take Morgause into the Forest on the estate to get her used to it once more and to centre all of their emotions.

'Hold on? Three soulmates! My great-niece will not have a soulmate, let alone three, until she's a hundred!' Charlus thought after rereading the parchment with a scowl upon his face only to get a slap round the back of the head from his wife.
"Ow! Dorea!" Charlus complained, rubbing the back of his head while bouncing Morgause on his knee with the other.
"Don't even think about it, Charlus Potter!" Dorea warned seriously, as Mia and Monty discussed the plans to get all the blocks and the heinous magic removed from Morgause and part of the parchment - or at least a copy - to be sent to Madam Bones to aid her in her case against the old coot.
"That goes for you too, Lyle!" Roxanne warned, glaring warningly at her husband causing the reprimanded pair to pout as Morgause giggled at them.

Several hours later, the family had finally returned to Potter Manor mentally and emotionally spent from the last few days. After a long sleep to recover from the ritual to purge everything from her magic and system Morgause was finally free, although her magic was going a bit haywire and would definitely need some time in the Forest to centre herself, especially as she grew up; what with her power level. It was no wonder the old coot was so obsessed with her but that just made her family eager to remove him from Hogwarts and power before she ever attended. If there was one thing the Potters and Evans were, it was overprotective of Morgause Potter-Black, and nothing and no one would ever take her away from them again!

This they swore to Mother Magic (including Roxanne and Lyle) as they watched Morgause giggle happily, as she sat on the Forests' earthy, leaf-strewn floor bonding with the Earth Magick and the Forest; which seemed to become lighter (despite the late evening hour) as it reacted with her happy emotions. It was the first time she was happy after everything that had happened on Samhain and they intended to continue to see her smile and laugh; for she was the light and love of their lives and what bonded them all together.
