I adore them.

Also, this one shot is NOT connected to the previous ones I will say when they are.

I hope you all enjoy this.

"She is my wife". Muzamil said looking at his family shocked faces

Mahek looks around the mansion then back at the people who were staring at her. She looks at them curiously trying to figure out the were  4 people in front of her of which two are his parents and she has no idea if the other girls are his siblings yet.

"What have you done, Bhai?". His sister (Hanifa) who must be her age asks holding her hand pulling her with the other family

Now it was all of them looking at him.

"Doesn't matter. I have a new daughter". His father said forwarding his hand for a high five which she enthusiastically returned

"What's your name, beta?". His mother asked

"I am Mahek". She said smiling as his mother hold her hand

"Which room is her?". Hanifa asked excitedly, "Do you play games?".

Muzamil hit his sister head at her useless questions as usual but he didn't believe his own eyes looking at his family being so favourable to all this situation rather than asking questions as a normal family should do. But his family was filled with a bunch of comedians so he can only blame himself for thinking they will behave sanely. He wished that they finally had enough of his actions and throw him out but he should have thought this through.

It was his family he was thinking about and they are not normal.

He shakes his head heading towards his room because this one place he did go because of his parents forcing he ended with a wife with him. He promises to never ever listen to his parent's demand anymore.

He isn't someone to bend his rules for anyone he is always standing firm on his rules because those are what helped him in his 29 years of life. But he did bend a rule and look where he is today.

He has no idea what to do with the current situation and he hates the fact that he has no solution for it. He wasn't thinking of marrying anyone in his life because he was done with it already. But his life seems to love playing with him because it brought him a wife walking to him without him wanting.

He sighs.

He falls on his bed deciding it's best to sleep this stress off before his brain starts to play with him more games.

"Stay in the room beside Muzamil's room. You are just 18 so I don't want to pressure you". His mother said kindly, "If you need anything just tell me I will do it immediately".

"Ji". She said nodding, "Um, what's the name of the one who asked me to play with her?".

"Oh! She is Hanifa". His mother said happily

"Then I can play games with her". She said as she walks in the room his mother showed her

She looks around the spacious room covered in beautiful colour with everything matching the paint on the wall.

When she watched his house from the outside she knows it was a mansion because there was no way this gorgeous house wouldn't be called one. She was afraid because she has heard about rich people being strict and bad.

And when she was coming here she was given the guidelines according to those people. Even though she heard each advice it never truly reaches her mind. She heard from one side and out with another because she isn't the one who judges.

She does miss her Mamo (uncle) and her best friend that she left behind. There was no need to miss any more people but those two always help her in every phase of life.

She sighs.

She closes her eyes and the softness of the mattress she drifted to a peaceful sleep.

She heard whispers around her and she frowns in her sleep moving her head to sleep some more when someone taps on her shoulder lightly. She turns her head opening her eyes to look at who it is who disturb her sleep to find his sister.

"It's time for dinner". Hanifa said smiling

She nodded hurriedly standing on her feet as Hanifa stop her before she can move away.

"What happened?". Hanifa asked concerned

"Everyone told me to help in household works or you all will think bad about me". She said innocently

Hanifa falls into a fit of waves of laughter shaking her head after a while taking a deep breath.

"How old are you?". Hanifa asked

"18". She replied softly playing with her hand nervously

"I am 18 and my name is Hanifa. I have never touched a thing in this house. I am pretty sure my parents will only he mad at you if you do touch something in this house". His sister spoke making her more confused so she explained further, "My parents adore their daughters and they always told me that I have no need to work unless I want to do it by heart. So, they will be sad if you choose to work because of force".

"Really?". She asked confused, "Because everyone told me that if I want to be fed I need to work for it".

His sister eyes widen, "What the fu-". She pauses taking a deep breath, "Who said that?".

She blinks her eyes comprehending if she should speak because when she used to her Mami (aunt) would be mad at her and that results badly for her.

She shakes her head because she doesn't want to lie either.

His sister sighs, "I brought you some clothes. I don't know if my idiot brother brought your clothes but these are brand new and we can go to buy some more tomorrow".

"Thank you. I did pack my bags but I don't know where they are". She said softly

"Come down soon and I will sort the thing with your bags too". His sister said walking away with a smile

She looks at one of the plain white dress which had a golden embroidery around it. She decided to wear that against the order of her family to wear heavy suits after marriage. She doesn't like wearing a heavy suit much. She likes it simple.

Once she was done she walked downstairs looking around the beautiful walls making her smile widely until she bumps into something making her wince in pain that shoot through the side of her body.

"Maybe look down instead of the wall and you won't go around hitting into things". She heard his deep voice which held dryness

She blushes to bite her lips looking at him embarrassed, "I will try".

With that, she immediately turns around running back downstairs and into the dining room. Just as she paused everyone was looking at her making her blush even more with the attention she never had before.

"Can I help with something?". She asked softly

"Nahi nahi. Hamare ghar ki betiyan kaam nahi karti". His father said smiling as he places the food on the table (no-no. Our daughters don't work)

She watches Hanifa asking her to sits beside her and she did when he entered sitting opposite of her without a word. She starts to eat quietly as she listens to the soft talking going around.

"Did you decide the university?". He asked Hanifa

"It's hard to know which is the best here". Hanifa replied as she stands to hold her plate taking them inside the kitchen where she found his mother placing the food away

"Can I please do the dishes?. I don't like sitting idle". She said playing with her hands

"If you want to I won't stop you but you don't have to do it, beta". His mother said smiling patting her shoulder

"No! I like doing dishes". She said truthfully as she grins sweetly

His mother shakes her head with a chuckle, "Go ahead then. I will ask the others to help with the table".

She nodded starting to clean the table and she can still hear Hanifa discussing her studies. She had completed her high school just over a month and her results will be out soon. She wonders if she was allowed to study further. She doesn't want to burden them as she did to her family so she didn't speak.

"Something's on your mind?". Sadaf asked standing beside her cleaning the dishes with her, "If you don't want to talk to me then my mother is the best listener. Try her".

She nodded smiling as she finishes her dishes heading back to her room.

Three months later:

It's been three months since she was married and she came to this new heaven on earth. Every single member besides her husband had spoken to her and made her comfortable. Her results came out and she was super happy so were the others to watch her achieve such a good position.

"Why don't you study further?". Hanifa asked

She shrugged, "Am I allowed to?".

His mother frowns at her reply, "And why will anyone deny you of your rights?".

"Um, my family said girls shouldn't study because in the end they have to handle the house and all the money only go to waste".

"That's some cheap bull--". Hanifa started but cut herself off when her mother glared at her,"-thing to say".

"Beta, do you know about your rights as a woman?". His mother asked softly

She shakes her head as his mother starts to explain about her rights and further the responsibilities both as a woman and as a wife. After that, she went back to her room thinking about his mother words. She didn't realise she had that many rights for herself.

She came back down when she was called again. This time she found him sitting beside his father speaking about something.

"We were thinking about sending Mahek to university". His mother said holding her hand

"So?". He asked confused

"We were thinking if you could help her in the entrance exam?". Sadaf spoke nervously

"Why will I help in that?. A person should go in with their capabilities, not from someone else power". He replied rudely making her heart clench as she looks down blinking her tears away

"Bhai, you don't even know how capable she is. Do you know her percentage?". Hanifa said angrily as he meekly shakes his head at his sister outburst which was a rare sight, "She scored 95% and she is one of the toppers in the country. I think she is capable of everything".

"So, what do you need my help with?". He asked confused

"Oh my God, where did his brain go?". Sadaf asked shaking her head

"We were asking to know which university will be best for her as you helped Hanifa to find her the best one". His mother replied remembering to lecture him later on his absurd behaviour

"I can help". His father offered, "He is an idiot so let him be. What did you study for?".

"Doctorate". She said smiling as she ignores his eyes staring at her

"Perfect. I will look into the university and inform you tomorrow then". His father said warmly glaring at his son who stays there not responsive

"Thank you". She said softly as she turns to speak excitedly with Hanifa

The night falls and so does the lecture on his ears.

"What is this behaviour, Muzamil?". His father asked looking at him stern

"What?".

"You and I both know that your behaviour to her is not justified by any means".

"I never intended for this to happen. You were the one who made me go there and look what went down".

"So, if the life turns you around facing situations that are not to your liking you will start to run away and hide?".

"I am not running or hiding away".

"So, do you want me to use ignoring as the right term?. It still doesn't make any difference".

"You don't understand".

"No, you don't understand. You have a responsibility with you whether you like it or not. She is in your nikkah which means she has rights that you need to provide for. She is a young girl who has a lot of potentials which is yet to be discovered. Perhaps this was an unexpected event but it can turn to much more if you simply take a step forward".

His father patted his shoulder walking away from his room leaving him with his thoughts. The next day, he was awake before anyone else as he heads to the garden he found her sitting on the grass moving her hand over it with a smile on her face as she feels the softness of the grass.

He stayed leaning on the wall watching her humming to herself lost in her thoughts and that's when he felt the tugging at his heart. It was as if an invisible thread she held in her small soft hands pulling her towards herself.

"....chai?". He heard her voice breaking his daydreaming (tea)

"Kia?". (What)

"Mai poch rahi thi k apko chai chahiyeh?". (I was asking if you wanted tea)

"Mai khud bana sakta huin". (I can make it on my own)

He saw her face turning grim at his words which confused him because he does makes himself breakfast. It was their tradition.

"Apko chahiyeh?". (You want some)

"Ap mujhe bana kar dain gay?". (You will make for me)

The shock in her voice made him raise his eyebrows as he head inside with her soft steps paddling behind him making him smile.

"Haan toh mai nahi bana sakta?". (Why I can't make it)

"Nahi per woh apki Ammi nae kaha tha--". She trailed off playing with her fingers nervously as he turns around waiting for her to speak (no but your mother said--)

"Kia kaha tha?". He said taking a step closer to her and her sweet scent immediately invaded him (what did she say)

"Kagaryehristachalanahaitohhumaeekdosrekakhayalrakhnahoga".

He frowns, "Thora araam se bolo".(speak slowly)

"Ji woh, ammi nae kaha tha k ek dosre ka khayal rakhnay se rista mazboot hota hai per mujhe nahi pata kaise karte hain, kyun k meri pehli shaadi hai. Apko pata hai?". (Your mother said that by taking care of one another we can make this relationship stronger but I don't know how to do that since it's my first marriage. Do you have any idea)

"Meri bhi pehli shaadi hai". He said amused (its my first wedding too)

Her shoulder slumped, "Toh phir ap kisi kaam k nahi". (So you are of no use)

He laughs unable to control it any longer,"mujhe umeed hai k pehle ammi nae tumhare rights samjhae the". (I am sure my mother taught you about your rights first)

"Ji". (Yes)

"Toh pehle woh poore karnay do mujhe phir hum is riste do sambhal lain gay. Ab chai bana luon?". (Then let me fulfil them and we can handle this relationship after that. Now can I make tea)

"Per ap mujhe kuch batate nahi aur na ap kuch karnay dayte hain toh phir mai apka khayaal kaise rakhoon gi?".(but you don't tell me anything neither you let me do anything so how will I take care of you)

"Mai apna khayaal rakh sakta huin".

(I can take care of myself)

"Toh phir mai kia karoon?".

(So what do I do)

"Mujhe dekhti raho wohi kaafi hai".

(Keep looking at me that's enough)

"Apko dekhoon?".

(Look at you)

"Haan Sirf Mujhe Dekho".

(Yes, only look at me)

She nodded playing with her fingers as she thought about how she can take care of him. If he is making tea maybe she can make him breakfast?.

"What are you thinking about?".

"Can I make your breakfast?". She said sweetly looking at him as soon as he starts to shake his head to say no, she added, "Please".

He sighs, "If it makes you happy. I am sure my family will have my head after this".

She giggles making him smile, "I will ask them not to".

"Here". He said placing her tea in front of her, "Do you want to head to the garden?".

She nodded following behind him entering the garden as they sit on the bench side by side.

"I will take you for your entrance exams". He said softly

"But Baba--".

"He asked me to work on it so I did. The entrance exams is from tomorrow".

"I am not ready".

He chuckles, "With your percentage, I am sure you are ready. Is there anything you need?".

She shakes her head drinking her tea, "Where did you learn this?. I don't know any men who know how to cook".

"Not even the man you were getting married to". The venom in his voice was not even hidden

She flinches, "No, he didn't know but that shouldn't be a surprise he doesn't know basics ethics".

"Such as?".

"Such as when we met for the first time and our family asked us to talk so we went outside where he spoke two words before holding my hand and I told him I didn't like it but he didn't listen and--".

"There's more?". His voice was dangerously low

"He--".

"Bhai Jaan". She heard Sadaf voice, "Breakfast time".

"I will go cook for you". She escaped before he could ask more

He closed his eyes as his fist clenched maybe he should have murdered that man when he saw him that day. The fury that builds in the pit of his stomach took over all of his body.

"What's wrong?".

"Why do people not check on the man they are handing their daughters to?. Aren't they precious?".

His father sighs, "Some don't care and others don't know their values. Mostly, those are the cases besides that there are few times when parents can be wrong too".

"But if others can see the kind of man they are marrying her off to why can't they?".

"Maybe because they don't want to. We have started taking our women as a second class citizen even when they have such high values in our lives".

"I will never allow my daughter to live that kind of life".

"Then have one soon so I can see how well you treat her but before that, you need to treat the mother of your soon to be a child as a woman she truly deserves to be".

"I will, Baba. I promise I will until my last breath".

After having an exciting breakfast and watching him devouring in the breakfast she made for him. She places the dishes on the counter ready to clean when he stood beside her.

"See me off?". He asked nervously

"Ok". She said softly as she walks beside him to the exit where his mother and Sadaf was seeing Hanifa and his father off

"Take care". She said grinning at him and he smiles back coming closer to her making her eyes widen

"Here". He said handing her a small envelope, "I am sure my family will take you out. I will have a card made soon as our joint account so you can take it with you until then I will have to give these envelopes".

She shakes her head, "But I don't need it".

"But I do. It's my responsibility so be good and enjoy yourself, ok?".

"Ok, thank you. I will cook you something tonight then".

"You will make me fat from cooking for me".

She giggles at his words and he smiles as they gaze at one another until his father called him and they break their eye contact blushing.

"I will see you later". He said walking away to his car

The day she spends with passing her time with his mother and shopping with his sister. She looks around the mall excited because she hasn't been to one in ages or maybe never because she wasn't allowed out of the house.

"Is this your first time?". Sadaf asked as they set their bags on the table ready to order food

She nodded grinning, "Yes! My family said that woman shouldn't be allowed roaming around because that attracts them bad people so they never allowed me anywhere".

"Who exactly is in your family again?". Sadaf asked a little angry at her statement

"My Mamo (uncle) and Mami (aunt) with their three daughters". She replied looking at the envelope of money she hadn't used in her hand

"What about your parents?". Hanifa asked hesitating

"T-They died in a train blast". She whispers hoarsely, "When I was five years old".

"Since then you are with your uncle?". Sadaf asked and she nodded, "Why not someone else?".

"I don't know. My Mami (aunt) said she was the one who took me in because she thought I was good enough but I wasn't". She said shrugging innocently as she never understood what her aunt truly meant

"Well, did your parents leave behind something for you?". Sadaf asked trying to solve the mystery

She nodded meekly, "They had a house and some lands in my name but I signed them to my aunt".

"What?. Why?". Hanifa asked shocked

"She asked me to do so when I turned 18 because she had taken care of me for years so I did". She said softly confused at both the sister shocked face and she looks down at her hand sadly, "After that she arranged my marriage when I told her that I want to be a doctor like my mother".

No one spoke after that because his sisters were angry at her relative's behaviour while she was sad at the mentioning of her parents mostly because she doesn't remember them. Not their touch or how they looked. She passes by a shop where she found a watch and that's the only thing she bought on this trip.

He enters inside the house late at night because of the urgent matter that needed him expecting everyone to be asleep. He walks inside the lounge placing his bag down losing his tie placing his head on the couch closing his eyes sighing tiredly.

"Here". He heard her sweet voice making him open his eyes to find her standing in all her glory in front of him with a glass of water

"What are you doing up?". He asked frowning as he takes the water glass from her

"Waiting for you". She said sitting opposite of him with the book that Hanifa brought for her

"Why?". He asked softly as she looks at him smiling

"Because I didn't like that you might go to sleep with no food". She answered

"You don't have to worry that much. You have entrance exam tomorrow". He said worried that she might not have enough sleep

"It's fine. I used to stay all night when there were exams and still managed to complete my exams". She said standing, "I will place the food for you so you can go change quickly".

He nodded placing the glass in the kitchen running to his room to shower and change into more comfortable clothes. He might not say but watching her waiting for him and worrying for him did something to his heart that he managed to control himself to not show too much to her. She is still naive and young so having to display such strong emotions might confuse and pressure her. All he wanted for her, for now, is to live this part of her life with having him beside her just as a friend. Just for now.

He stops running downstairs when he finds Hanifa standing in front of him looking sad.

"What's wrong, pari?". He asked bringing her into his hold (angel)

"Please talk to her". Hanifa said sniffing, "We talked to her about her family and they are very bad, Bhai".

He nodded understanding, "I will do it. Don't worry. Go back to sleep, ok?".

Hanifa nodded walking away and he brushes his hair away from his face calming himself down before heading back downstairs to find her placing the food on the table.

"Do you need help?". He asked sitting down when she shakes her head walking back to the kitchen

He waited for her to come back out until she walks back with her tea sitting beside him as he starts to eat while she mindlessly drinks her tea and his eyes never leaving her.

"Why were you getting married?". He asked finally gathering the courage

"I was a burden to my family". She replied looking down at her lap

"So they thought that good for nothing man was what you deserved?". He asked losing his appetite at once because he did meet the man before and he hated him ever since

She nodded confirming his thoughts, "I told them that he wasn't a good man and my heart never felt at peace with him like it does with you. I would always hide in his presence not how I am sitting alone and comfortably with you. He would touch me inappropriately and say things that were not nice. He said he would do things to me and I cried to sleep for a week scared of him praying that somehow I get out of it".

She was crying all the way as she explains the story of her life. He stood from his seat walking towards her sitting on his knees taking her hands into his hand wiping her tears away. She leaps at him hugging him tightly crying in his arms as he whispers sweet words to her and she fell asleep. He looks down at her sleeping peacefully taking her back to her room placing her on the bed sitting beside her watching her.

He remembers the man she was talking about clearly because he was the first one who he interacted or more like fought with when he had entered the venue his father asked him to. It was simply because he entered inside and that man came bumping into him cursing him for no reason even after he calmly apologised. That was when his eyes remained on the man as he flirts around and his body language said a lot about him. Besides that, when he had come to stand with his friends just a few inches away from where Muzamil stands he had heard his disgusting thoughts about her and saying that he would give the details might record it for his friends.

That when he lost it and beat the shit out of him. He didn't care that he was the groom and it wasn't his business. All he knows that if he hadn't done anything now that girl life will be ruined. Now, he was quite happy about beating him no end because what he had done and was going to do to her what he did to him was still nothing. Maybe he can go back and hit him again.

Perhaps he will do that soon.

Anyways, that's how her family pressured him to marry her because now her life was ruined because her bastard of a future husband was in no shape to marry. He would have laughed then if it wasn't how easily they were throwing her away to some stranger.

Even if it's bad he was still pleased that he had married her. Imagining her getting into any sort of marriage where the man wouldn't value the gem she is only made him angry. He unconsciously clenches his fist when he heard her murmuring something taking his attention from his anger. He smiles looking at her covering her properly walking back to his room.

The next day she was nervous but he assured her that the test will be good.

"What if I do bad?".

"Don't listen to anyone or anything. Just listen to me and I am telling you that you will do amazing. Now go do your best and if it's in your favour you will make it and if not you are too young to give up after one try".

She exits after doing her best as he told her looking around for the driver when she found her husband leaning on the car looking around until his eyes set on her and a wide grin appears on his face as he walks towards her in quick stride.

"How was it?".

"Amazing. I hope I can get into this one because this place is so fun".

He smiles forwarding his hand for her to hold and she didn't even hesitate to do so, "I am sure you will".

"Have you been waiting here since I went in?". She asked sitting in the car

"Yes".

Her heart did a flip at his words and she feels tingle over her body. She nodded thanking him as they went to eat lunch at his favourite restaurant since she had no favourite of her own.

Good thing was that her results will come out in a week and another good thing was that their relationship was becoming better. He was supportive and respectful, that's all she needed.

"What would you do if you could have one power?". He asked as they sit on the beachside by side

"I will have the power to soften everyone hearts".

"And why is that?".

"Because every other power will not do much but if I change people hearts to feel for others, love them and be accountable for their actions that will solve all the problems. People are the reason this place is how it is now".

"True".

"What will you choose if it's love and money?".

"Isn't that obvious?". He asked looking at her smiling, "I will choose love over anything. My father wasn't a rich man but he was rich by heart. My mother always told us how he was responsible, respectful and mindful of her needs. She said even on the hard days they never felt anything because their relationship was never built around money".

"What if people say bad things about me?. What will you do?".

"Why will I give them the power to speak badly about you?. The moment they feel comfortable to speak badly about you is the moment I had to check what I did wrong".

She couldn't help the respect she blooms in her heart for him.

The next week passed by in a blur and she went to university to get her results and if she had passed to get all the required essentials. She looks at her result over and over excitedly waiting to reach home so she can show it to her husband.

"Muzamil". She said running inside the house not noticing the tense environment as she stood in front of her husband with a wide grin, "Look! I made it".

His eyes widen as he looks at her results he half expected it to truly happen since the university is hard enough to get in but his lips turn into a matching grin forgetting the tension as he looks at her again.

"This just made my day". He said looking at the result again and she had done it

"You are looking at it like you will frame it". She said giggling

"I will. There is no way I am letting your achievement go just like that".

Her heart flutters as she blushes looking at him who was still busy admiring her result making her laugh as she caught his attention immediately.

That's when they heard the throat clearing.

She turns around to find a glamorous woman looking like she walks right out of a magazine glaring at her. She frowns stepping behind her husband to not look at her.

"She must be your wife". The woman said with a sickening smile, "I am Zobia".

"Mahek". She said softly smiling but the woman glare vanished her smile

That's when she feels her husband hands wrapping around her bringing her closer and she looks at him. He smiles at her and she smiles back innocently taking the paper from his hand looking at it forgetting the world around. Because she had prayed hard to get in wanting to feel connected to her mother and now she had taken the first step.

".....are you listening?". She heard someone snapping her out of her daydreaming

She looks at the woman frowning shaking her head.

"I asked why did you marry young?". The woman asked

"Zobia, I told you to get out of my house. My parents and siblings aren't in or I would have asked my sister to drag you since I don't want to disrespect women but if you hurt my wife I will have a second thought at that". He warned

"Loosen up, Muzamil. Always with the anger. He was the same way when we were going to get married". Zobia said smiling, "You don't know about that, do you?".

She shakes her head shrugging nonchalantly.

"Get out of my house now". He said angrily as his parents entered inside

Zobia smirks at him walking outside of the house and he looks at her worried that she must have been angry.

"I need to talk to her then I will speak to you all". He said taking her hand bringing her to his room

He paces around as worry consume him because he doesn't want to hurt her and make her angry at him. All he wanted was to work this relationship to it's best.

He turns to look at her who was looking at him frowning, "Are you angry at me?. Of course, you are that's a dumb question. I can explain what happened--".

"Why will I be angry at you?".

"Because of what happened?".

"What happened?".

"I mean she said she was supposed to be married to me".

"You told me it's your first wedding".

"Did you not get angry that I didn't speak about it to you?".

"You told me to only listen to you and no one else".

His eyes widen as he remembers his words from a few days back. He moves towards her closing the distance cupping her face in his hands caressing her cheeks.

"So, you are not angry?".

"No! But I can be if you want me to right now. Should I?". She asked innocently and he breaks into laughter

"I cannot believe this". He said wiping his tears away, "You are the best thing that ever happened to me".

"You too". She said blushing as she plays with her finger, "What did you want to talk to me about?".

"I- just about what happened but you clearly don't care enough so I will give you a short story and not bore you. I was arranged to marry her by my parents around five years back. I never had the heart to marry her but my parents liked her so I agreed. Before the wedding, she always demanded me to call her, text her and take her out on expensive dates and buy her more expensive stuff. I didn't care enough until one week before the wedding I went to her place to drop something my mother prepared to find her telling her friend how she was only in for money so I called it off immediately".

"That's still a big story".

"Sorry! That's the shortest way I can explain to you".

She smiles, "Well, I suppose it's a good thing you didn't get married then".

"It's the best thing".

She giggles, "Where will you hang this?".

She shows him the paper looking at him grinning and he takes the paper moving to one of the board he had placed his achievement at, removing them all and placing her first achievement there.

"That's better".

She looks at him admiring him while he admires the board he placed her paper at. Her young heart was beating rapidly and out of her control to find such an amazing person to spend her life with. She knows what marriage is and with the help of his mother she had understood it more deeply wanting to do her best. Now, that she knows what marriage truly is, she wonders how many steps she needs to take for him to come to her. She knows he is hesitating she had seen it many times on his face. Whenever she leaves him to the door in the morning he would steps closer as if to hug her but then he will step back immediately walking away. At other times he would lean in towards her but will not do anything. He does hold her hand only when he offers her to do so and she holds onto him but never on his own. She wonders just how much he feels for her and if it's as strong as her own feelings.

She doesn't understand why would that woman speak about marrying at 18 as young?. It might be young but when did the age associate with marriage?. Is there a correct age and are those the only marriages that are successful?. The double standards are beyond her.

The people appreciate and praise when people get married at older ages but they have an issue with young people getting married. Forced marriage is another story but some marriages are simple and beautiful. Simple should be normal.

"What are you thinking about?". He asked looking at her curiously

"About us".

"What about us?".

"That I like you". She blurted out

"Why do you look so scared about telling me that?". He asked stepping closer to her

"It's my first time saying it to someone".

"I am honoured then". He said wrapping his arms around her pulling her closer, "What if I told you that I love you and it's my first time saying it too?".

"You love me?. How?".

He shrugged, "My father loved my mother in the first week of their marriage and I missed all that time being an idiot. I don't know really what love is since I never truly know about it. All I know is that I wish to have you with me every second, minute and day. I wish to start a life with you and be a part of your life. I wish to see you happy and want to be the reason behind it. I want to fulfil all your dreams and watch you achieve them with me by your side. That's all I truly want for you. All I want is you".

"Why do you like me?".

"Why can't I like you?. You are the most beautiful innocent person I have met and you are incredibly amazing. You always surprise me on everything. Your smile makes my world shine a little brighter. Your presence makes my heart beat louder. I wish to see you beside me every day I open my eyes because you are the only sight I truly want to see".

"So do I".

That's how their lives change for the better. Few words and a little courage is all it took for them to lead a better life ahead of them.

In which there was understanding when she entered into a stressful study life where she was busy almost all day trying to do her best but her husband always comes to her simply sitting beside her or his head on her lap as he talks nonsense.

Or when every night he waits for her to come to bed so they can cuddle and sleep together.

The moments he held her hand simply looking at her admiring her every feature while she talks nonstop.

He adores her.

And she did too.

She didn't know what love is just like him. But if it meant that the shine in their eyes matches each other whenever they look at one another then she is in love with her husband.

He looks down at the watch his wife gifted him years back and that was the first gift of his wife that he cherish all these years together. He was anxious and worried until he heard the news of the new arrival blossoming his love into ten folds more for both of them.

"What should we name her?". He asked sitting beside her with his arms around her back gazing down at his daughter in his wife's hands and his eyes moist from the beautiful sight

"Aarzo". She whispers softly knowing her world is completed with her small family

That was them.

Muzamil and Mahek.

****~~~*****

I was going to end at their confessions but they deserved this ending more.

Thank you for all the love.

I will see you soon.
