Bonus chapter:"Adam and Izra".
Life is an unexpected occurrence of many events and human trying to find the best way and experiences from it.
Her life wasn't any different, the deeper one goes the darker it used to be. Now, she is a woman who was introduced and indulged in different passion leaving all her past- in past where it truly belongs.
If one was to see her right now spending her time in the kitchen as she works her way around there. Even the people who saw her for the first time and today will know that her face was glowing- the kind of glow that she was granted by her love. Her eyes that used to stay hard and cold were now soft and gentle as she peacefully works with the things around her.
A soft graceful smile remains on her lips as she imagines about her husband who was out for dinner. She knows today of all days he was the busiest and with multiple meeting, there were multiple eating too. He dislikes today because he comes home very late and he is always moody that he wishes to spend today with her.
However, the doesn't remain the case because as his King duties and values comes in the way. But that doesn't stop them- like it never did before from reaching to each other and loving one another.
She realises that if one was to love it needs to be two-sided. One-sided love is a dangerous obsession over the person which can ruin their own self and the person they claim to love.
He provided her with the utmost love that she never imagined and the fears always fly away from her now. She was in a new different journey that she was trying her best to learn from and become a better version of herself.
Change is important because without change she cannot be a better version. She learns throughout and when her words are challenged instead of fighting to the death to make other understand- now she remains calm and thinks and if it's her wrong she works to correct herself.
It was hard to change but a compulsory.
She has started her own life with no one else to care for beside the two people who mean the world to her.
Omar and Adam.
They brought her to themselves and then placed themselves in her life in a way that she still couldn't grasp how much they start to mean to her. She knows that those two men were her blessing for her repentance.
She never went for her sister.
Because it doesn't matter anymore, not because she doesn't care for her sister. But, it was no use to dwell and hold on a past that will only hurt both of them each time they face each other. She has texted one last time wishing her well being and thanking her for forgiving her but she couldn't even look in her eyes and not feel the pain- she will always feel it and it will always stay the same.
Her sister and she came to the point that they both have to build their own lives and they don't need each other anymore. We need a family for support and love however they both never were any of those to each other. They were either in hate relationship or in guilt.
So, now, they live their own lives.
She places the last bit of the desert in the bowl placing in inside the refrigerator and the moment she did she feels his arms wrapping around her and his head on her shoulder.
"I missed you". He said tiredly
"I did too. But you came early I was going to get ready". She whined stomping her feet
He chuckles, "Ok. Go on. I will pretend I never saw you".
"Promise?". She asked gleefully
"Promise". He said kissing her forehead as she runs away
He understands the joy of simple things in his life after meeting her. A simple meal, a simple talk and a simple action. They are meant so much to her and those small things made her smile every day. In the past years, he had come to realise that if he were to surprise his wife with lavish gifts she will accept them but the joy of her will always remains in small simple things.
A simple meal on her birthday.
She would love to be at a restaurant or a beach- just the two of them and even if it isn't necessary that they talk throughout they just enjoy that moment of solidarity together.
He walks towards the lounge tired from the day and meeting thousands of people besides his wife on his own birthday is the worse thing to ever happen.
She curls her hair in soft curls applying a bit of makeup wearing the jewellery which he always brings for her even after knowing she doesn't need it. He says that he loves bringing her things maybe he doesn't know his presence his enough for her.
She walks downstairs slowly not to hurt herself knowing if she is any faster she will have an hour-long lecture from her husband on how to take care of her own self. She shakes her head smiling when she finds him sleeping peacefully on the couch hugging the pillow. It always seems that he looks younger and more boyish when he is asleep. There is nothing beside peace on his face and rare occasions like one right now she places her hand on his face caressing his cheek and he leans into her touch immediately smiling in his sleep.
She chuckles at his reaction which made him open his eyes to the beautiful sight of his woman standing in front of her. Even after all these years she sure knows how to have his heart thunders without many efforts. He has once told her how pure and beautiful she looks in white and he loves how she chooses that colour when it's something important.
"Ishq e maan". He said standing from his seat forwarding his hand to her and once she placed her hand he kissed it, "You look beautiful. Now I am wondering maybe I should change too because there is no way I can compete with you at this moment".
She laughs hitting his chest lightly, "There is no need to compete in between us. We are one. Now, I know you are tired so let's eat and you can sleep".
He shakes his head looking at his watch to find it's 11 PM, "I have exactly 59 minutes now left for my birthday, to spend with my beautiful wife there is not a minute I am wasting anymore".
She nodded as they walk towards the dining room and she went to bring the smallest bowl of the desert not wanting to have his already filled stomach eat too much just for her sake.
"Here". She said starting to sit on her chair but he pulled her in his lap wrapping his arms around her
"I know that you know I love Kheer but you shouldn't have worked all day in the kitchen in this condition". He mumbles softly
"I am not sick". She said stubbornly
"Allah na karay ap ko koi bemaari lagay". He said scared at the mere thought of any such pain to her, "Jaan, is tarha na bola karein ap ko pata hai mujhe pasand nahi".
(God forbid, that you get sick) (my life, don't talk like that I don't like it)
"Acha acha, sorry. Mujhe maaf kar dein". She said holding her eyes looking at him adorably (ok, ok, sorry. Forgive me)
He shakes his head with a soft smile kissing her cheeks, "It's just- you are already working so hard for Omar's wedding and that is tomorrow. If you worked this hard today, you will be tired".
Her eyes lit up at her brother's wedding thought, "Oh! There is no way I will be tired tomorrow of all days. Do you know how excited I am?".
He laughs at how she looks so endearing, "I have a very clear idea".
She forwards her hand for him and since he was busy in admiring her he didn't focus on her hand which were filled with Henna. The colour was dark and it looks beautiful against her skin just like on their own wedding.
"Mera naam kaha hai?". He asked softly (where is my name)
She shrugged, "Dekh lein". (Find it yourself)
"Yeh zulm hai, rani sahiba". He said grumpily (this is wrong, my queen)
She laughs however he finds his name on her palm and kissed it, "It feels like when we are getting married again".
She nodded, "But it's fun because now I am teasing Omar not the other way. Don't worry I will take all your revenge".
He laughs, "You better. Now, will you give me a spoon of this tasty dessert?".
She nodded taking a small amount and giving it to him knowing that he loves homemade food of her hands more than anything from outside.
"This is so good". He said taking the spoon from her hand feeding her, "I can have all of it".
"No". She said stopping his hand, "You can eat it tomorrow but not today. You are already full".
"Not enough to ignore my wife all day hard work". He said eating all of it, "Now, we should sleep we have an early day and did Omar reach to Meera?".
As they walk back to their room she laughs at his question looking at him with the glint he always finds when she did something mischievous.
"What did you do?". He asked shaking his head knowing his wife will truly make Omar pay
"Oh! I did nothing besides I told Omar he can not see her this whole month until the wedding and he was going insane saying how he helped you and I communicate in our time but I didn't allow him that advantage either. Meera was more than happy to have Omar whine all day but he didn't see her and will not until tomorrow". She said removing her jewellery
"He will lose his mind". He said from his own experience
The next day she was awake and running everywhere asking for everyone to work accordingly. She checks everything so many times until she was satisfied and her husband came to her rescue.
"Bus bus bohat ho gaya". He said wrapping his arms before she runs away again, "Ab bus ap jayein aur Meera k sath tayaar ho jayein, mai sub dekh luin ga". (Ok, that's enough) (Go and get ready with Meera. I will look after everything)
She smiles nodding running away when she heard him speak again, "Please, stop running. I think I will grow old faster because of you".
She laughs heading towards Meera room as she opens the door everyone else leaves them to be. Over the years, she has finally managed to have one true friend that she somehow desires to have. It started when she went to a place where Meera works and started off meeting her regularly. At first, it was because of Omar but then she started to love meeting Meera. Slowly but surely they developed their own bond over the period of 5 years.
"Shukar hai bhai (Adam) sent you here finally or I was going to come to you". Meera said angrily, "I have one friend and she is not present here".(Thank the Lord, brother Adam)
She smiles softly, "Ek dost huin is liye toh I was making sure everything is best for you". (I have one friend that's why)
"I think you taught me that these things don't matter". Meera said standing from her seat in her bridal dressmaking her sit on her seat, "Besides, you need to take care or yourself. In all this, I don't want something to happen to you".
"Tum bhi". She groaned, "Last night, Adam was saying the same thing". (You too)
"Well, if you are almost due then everyone will say the same thing". Meera said chuckling, "And we love you, that's why we worry. I really want to see my niece/nephew".
The excitement in her voice made her smile. Because everyone was as excited as they were to be parents. She remembers how she was excited to inform Adam and then the minute he came to know about him being a father he had to hold her in his arms tightly kissing her to no end.
"Now, it's your time to be ready". Meera said breaking her thoughts
"I hate dressing up". She said frustrated with all the makeup on her face
Meera laughs, "No, you don't. You love doing it because you get to see your husband reaction".
She shrugged, "That's the only reason I do it or if it was on me I would be in my pyjama coming to your wedding".
"Then it's good it's not in your hands". Meera said sighing, "Otherwise the only clown would be the Queen in my wedding".
"You and your husband are the same". She said remembering Omar calling her clown
Meera blushes and that made her smile because while she is the bold one, Meera is the shy innocent one. Their Nikkah was done a month ago because Omar trusted no one especially when Meera was always running away from him.
"Your husband is an idiot". She said laughing, "He had been eating my ears about how cruel I am".
Meera laughs, "You are evil".
She shakes her head, "I can be when I want to be. But, I have someone for you".
With that, she went to the door asking the remaining girls to leave the room and she leaves behind them leaving a confused Meera.
Meera shakes her head looking at herself in the mirror as she looks at her bangles shaking them and they made a sound which made her smile.
"Allah ki kasam meri behn nae sub badlay liyay hain". She heard his voice which made her heart skipped a beat, "It's been a month, Dekho gi nahi mujhe?".
(I swear my sister took all her revenge) (won't you look at me)
"Dekhnay wala hai kuch?". She said biting her lips as she raises her eyes finding him already looking at her with admiration and intensity (Is there something to look at)
Omar shakes his head, "Ab se tumhae door rakho ga Izra se".
(From now on I will keep you away from Izra)
She laughs turning around and when Omar takes predator steps towards her she feels her heart leaping out of her chest. Omar looks at his wife admiring how she looks so beautiful and innocent at the same time and all the thoughts he had reserved inside him were coming back to him now.
"Is tarha dekho gi toh phir se mohabbat ho jaye gi". Omar said placing his hand on her cheeks watching them turning red and she lowers her eyes, "Ab toh dekh lo mujhe. Yaha mai kub se tarap raha tha aur ap ki is sharam mai kahi poora waqt na guzar jaye".
(If you look at me like that I will fall in love again)
She remembers how Izra always told her that being with your husband is being with a person who you can express yourself with. Even if she was shy to his touch and words she wanted to say so much to him and Izra had taught her that loves works two way.
"Mujhe toh apse pehle se mohabbat hai". She said raising her eyes looking at his beautiful eyes making her heart skipped a beat (I have loved you for a long time)
"Khoobsurat lag rahi ho bohat". He said smiling (you look so beautiful)
"Ap bhi kuch kum nahi". She replied giggling at his expression (you are no less)
"Yeh meri begum ko kia ho gaya hai?. Yeh kon hai?". Omar asked dramatically making her break into laughter (What happened go my wife) (who is this)
And that was something he wanted, for her to be free around him and not tensed. He knows she always seems to worry about everything and he doesn't want her to think about anything tonight beside him and having fun.
"Ab is se pehle k meri behn a jaye, hum chalte hain". He said kissing her forehead lovingly forwarding his hand as she place her hand in his (Before my sister comes in, we should leave)
Omar halts looking at her panicked, "No-No. Wait, she will kill me if I forget this".
She frowns looking at him, "Kia ho gaya ap ko?". (What happened to you)
"Here". Omar said taking out the gift box forwarding it to her, "It isn't much-".
"Ap nae diya hai mere liye kaafi hai". She said smiling holding it to find a beautiful diamond chain inside it (you gave it, it is enough)
"May I?". He asked softly
She nodded and he holds her hand wrapping it around it kissing her hands making her giggle.
"Ab chalein?". He asked (shall we)
She nodded.
While, Izra was looking for her husband who seems to vanish from the venue altogether. The entry of Omar and Meera was done so now she can finally relax and she has been trying to finding her missing husband who is nowhere in sight.
She huffed.
Because now her feet are swollen and she regrets not listening to her husband pleading to not wear heels. She was at the verge of emotional breakdown which she seems to have a lot these days.
"Adam". She said angrily
"Ji, Adam ki Jaan?". She heard him whispers in her ear (yes, Adam's life)
She turns to come face to face with him while she tries to be mad at him she couldn't help but look at how handsome he looks even after all these years together.
She rolls her eyes, "I am tired".
He shakes his head holding her hand taking her to one of the empty room in the venue as he made her sit on the couch bending to throw her heel somewhere she never finds them again. He places her feet on his lap as he massages them to ease as much pain as he can forwarding the sweets he brought for her.
"I arranged their food in a separate room because I know you were going to do that next. They are eating now". He explained
She opens the box and her eyes widen looking at the sweets, "Gulab janum".
He laughs at the excitement his wife shows to such small things because he which he went out to bring some for her because the guests seem to end all it here on the venue. He wanted her to have them because she has been thinking about them but didn't have time to bring them. Hence, he had gone out with his guards to bring some and to this day he fears everything she eats from outside so he tried it first before giving to his love.
"We can leave now-". Adam started
"No. Not until my brother leaves with my friend". She said eating another one
He shakes his head, "I don't know what I would have done without you"
She shrugged, "You would probably be a very boring person".
He laughs wholeheartedly.
"Omar is right about you being a clown then?". He said knowing she almost punched Omar for it
"Don't. Call. Me. Clown". She said angrily moving her feet from his lap turning her face the other side
He hides his smile, "Naraz ho gayi?". (Are you mad at me)
"Nahi. Khushi huin bohat. Mujhe maza ata hai jub mujhe koi clown bolta hai". She said angrily not looking at him (No. I am very happy. I feel happy when someone calls me a clown)
"Acha, ab nahi bolta. Meri toh ittni haseen begum hai kaha se clown lagti hai". He said smiling (ok. I won't say it again. I have such a beautiful wife from which angle she looks like a clown)
"Don't butter me". She said biting her lips to hide her smile
"Nahi nahi. Mai toh bus saach bol raha tha". He said moving closer to her placing his hand on her cheeks turning to look at her beautiful face,"Aj pata nahi chal raha k ap ki shaadi hai ya us gadhay ki". (No-no. I am just stating the truth) (I don't understand if it's our wedding or that donkey's)
She rolls her eyes,"You have turned into a cheese factory in these past years".
"Ap ka qasoor hai". He said leaning in towards her, "Ijazat hai?". (It's your fault) (May I)
"Ap ko toh hameshah hai". She said and then he placed his lips on her (you always have permission)
He places his forehead against hers as he speaks,"Woh dekh k tere ruskhsar o lab yakin aya, k phul kitne hain gulzar k alava bhi".
She blushes when he pulls back from her.
"Ab is tarha karein gi toh lage ga jaise hamari aj shaadi ho rahi". He said softly (If you do like this it will look like it's our wedding)
"Chalien ab?". She asked smiling (Should we leave)
"Abhi toh dedaar bhi poora nahi howa". He whines and she laughs wearing the sandals this time and he wayches the anklet he had gifted her on their wedding in her feet and then they walks outside (I haven't even looked at you for that long)
*****
Everything went well.
However, the next day she was in the hospital to deliver a new life to the world. While she fights between fears and pain he stays with her being her armour through them. A child is the most vulnerable being beside that he/she can't feed themselves- their heart can only be fed by their parents too.
Every action, every word and the way they perceive things is too sensitive hence when a parent becomes a parent they need to be at high alert throughout. There is no easy way out, you are raising the next generation how can one relax?. Every single child born will be a part of a society and build one ahead of them. How can one neglect?.
And then after hours of pain and screaming.
A prince was born along with a princess.
He enters inside the room after he prayed to his Lord for the blessing to find his wife holding both of them and when she looks at him the tears brimmed her eyes. He knows that she loves them already just like how he did.
"They are so beautiful, Adam". She whispers softly
He smiles walking towards her holding his princess in his hand kissing her forehead then he kissed his prince and then his Queen.
"Thank you, Ishq e maan". He said smiling
He holds his daughter finger gently rubbing his thumb on her soft hands as tears filled his own eyes.
"They are indeed a blessing for us". He said smiling kissing his daughter's forehead
"Oh my God". She heard Omar voice as he rushes inside startling everyone and the kids start to cry
Both of them glare at him and Omar smiles sheepishly hiding behind his wife.
While Izra calms her son down Adam calm his daughter down.
"I cannot believe it. They are here". Omar said excitedly, "Let me hold her".
"No. You are an idiot who made her cry". Adam said frowning
"Adam". Izra said sighing because she was tired
"Fine. For five minutes". Adam said handing Omar his daughter keeping his eyes on him
Izra passed her son to Meera who smiles looking at him, "He is so beautiful".
"Alhamdulillah". Izra said smiling tiredly
"We will take the kids outside for a moment". Meera said holding her husband hand dragging him out
Adam turns to look at her tired eyes and he leans in kissing her forehead.
"Sleep, my lady". He whispers softly then he speaks again,
"Taluq kitna gehra, Rabta kitna khoosurat hai
Labo per muskarhat aur seeno mai kudrat hai".
