Samatha and Cody turned to look at the Raven hair boy and his Pikachu as officer Jenny came to a stop near the desk as they began to walk away after retrieving their Pokemon.

"Hm, it's that boy from earlier," Cody stated.

"Yeah, it seems his Pikachu got hurt pretty bad.

"We have a driveway; you know," Nurse Joy said.

"It's a Pokemon emergency," Officer Jenny replied.

"Come on, let's head upstairs to our room and put our bags away, then grab some dinner," Cody said, walking past the three.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go," Samantha said, following behind her brother.

Samantha and Cody arrived upstairs to their room and walked inside to see two sets of bedrooms since the room was built for four people.

"Alright, let's put our bags on the bed we will be sleeping in for the night," Cody said, walking to the bed on the left closest to the window.

"I take the bed closest to the bathroom then if you're taking the bottom bunk bed near the window," Samatha said, walking toward the other bed.

She then looked at her pants pocket when a white light shone, and out the came her Vulpix Kitsune.

"Kitsune?" Samantha said, confused, wondering what her vulpix was doing outside of her Pokeball.

"Vulpix," Kitsune said, looking at Samantha's arms wanting to be picked up.

"I don't think she a fan of her Pokeball like how some people hate tight spaces," Cody stated.

"Is that true, Kitsune?" Samantha asked, picking up her Vulpix.

Kitsune nodded.

"Okay, but you have to go in if we're in a dangerous situation," Samatha told Kitsune, who nodded.

"Now that is settled, let's go grab some dinner," Cody said as he walked toward the room door and opened it."For ourselves and the Pokemon."

"Agree the Pokemon must be hungry as well," She said, following Cody with Kitsune chilling in her arms.

Samantha and Cody walked back downstairs from their bedroom to head to the cafeteria to grab something for dinner. She noticed the boy from earlier sitting down in the waiting area, looking depressed.

"He seems quite upset," Samantha said.

"Don't blame him.  That Pikachu was quite hurt from a large folk of Spearow," Cody stated.

"Vul," Kitsune said, looking at the boy from her position in Samantha's arms.

"True, oh well, he will be fine, nurse Joy; we have Pikachu healed up," Samatha said.

"Yeah, now come on, I'm hungry," Cody said, dragging his sister towards the cafeteria.

"Okay, coming, let me go," She said.

Cody nodded and let her go as they entered the cafeteria.

Samantha and Cody were sitting in the cafeteria eating hotdog and french fries while their Pokemon were eating bowls of Pokemon food.

"That horsea you caught is quite cute," Cody said, looking at his sister, horsea.

"Agree, and she will be an excellent addition to the team, especially for the Pewter City Gym," Sam replied.

"Yeah, since she water and that good against a rock gym, but it would be good to catch a good grass type in Viridian forest tomorrow. Horsea is not the strongest water type, but your seems to have one decent move; she probably trained a lot in the wild to learn a move like ice beam."

Samantha nodded in agreement part of her was still thinking about that Pokeball but afraid to let it out only because there had to be a reason she left it behind. None of her other pokeballs were at home anymore, except the one she found.

"Alright, return everyone time to call it a night," Cody said, standing up returning his two Pokemon to their Pokeball.

"Same here but Kitsune, you can stay out since you hate your Pokeball," Sam said, returning her Horsea as Kitsune jumped into her arms once horsea was returned.

"Hope she realizes you can't carry her when she evolves," Cody said with a chuckle as he took both of the trays and threw the trash away before putting them in the pile of used trays.

"Oh, that doesn't matter now," Sam shrugged as they left the cafeteria, not noticing certain pair of eyes from a female in the back eating a burger looking at Samantha curiously.

Samantha and Cody walked back to the main entrance of the Pokemon center, where they saw an orange hair girl yelling at the raven boy. She was holding a burnt bike in her hands.

"That bike is completely destroyed," Cody stated. Samantha nodded in agreement.

"Hey, what happened to your bike?" The raven hair boy asked.

"What happened to my bike?" She repeated. "You happened to my bike, you little loser! This is what's left after you stole it to save your Pokémon! Now I can see why your Pokémon is--" She was cut off by the weight of the burnt bike caused her to fall back.

The boy ran over to help her. "Let us help you," the boy said, extending his hand to her, but she slapped it away. "I don't need your help! And you gonna pay for what you did to my bike!"

"I'll make up for it. I promise I will, really. But I can't do anything about your bike until--"

"I don't want any of your excuses, kid!" She cut him off as she stood up. "I just want a new bike right now!"

"Okay, enough," Sam said, walking over towards the girl and boy. "Your bike is not important at the moment."

"My sister, right," Cody said, joining his sister. "His Pikachu is it clearly not doing well if he still wasn't brought back.

"Vulp!" Kitsune said.

The boy looked over at the operation doors as the girl's face softened."Is it very serious?" She asked with concern in her voice.

"I think so. And there's nothing I can do to help now," The boy said.

Suddenly, the light for the operation room flicked off, and the doors slid open, revealing Nurse Joy, Chansey, and a male Pikachu on a gurney.  The four of them rushed over to Pikachu's side. "Pikachu, are you alright?" The boy asked, but the Pikachu appeared to be resting.

"Your Pikachu is resting. It's a good thing you got here so fast. He will be fine," Nurse Joy said.

"Thanks to the Pokémon center," The girl said with a smile.

"Yeah, thank you very much," The boy agreed.

"Now, your Pokémon need a good rest in the recovery room. It would be best if you went in with it, Ash," Nurse Joy said to the boy, Ash.

"Thanks," He said, giving a slight nod and then turned to the girl, "Listen, I'm sorry about your bike, but I'm going to need some time to make things right."

"No way! I fell for that last time!" She said. "Well, you should take care of Pikachu now, and we'll settle this later."

Samatha and Cody looked at the girl, glad she calmed down about the bike.

"Um... Okay," Ash said.

Suddenly, an alarm went off, and Officer Jenny's voice came on to a speaker. "Your attention, please. Out Viridian City ran for sensors, have detected an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokemon thieves."She announced. " If you have a Pokemon in your possession, exercise extreme caution."

Samatha and Cody looked at each other as Sam held Kitsune close to her chest.

Suddenly two Pokeballs dropped to the ground, revealing a sphere-like gas Pokemon and a purple rattlesnake Pokemon. The gas Pokemon attacked, making black smoke spread around the room.

"What are? Who are they?" Ash asked, confused?

"Don't be frightened, little boy," A female voice called out that sounded a little familiar to Sam and Cody.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves," A male said.

Kitsune hopped down from Sam's arms, standing guard, ready to protect her trainer.

"Prepare for trouble!" The female started as the smoke began to disappear. She had long red hair and blue eyes. She wore a white top that reached her chest with a letter 'R' on the front, a white skirt with thigh-high heels, black boots, and gloves.

'It can't be.' Sam thought, looking at the female in front of her.

"And make it double!" The male continued; he had shoulder-length blue hair and green eyes. He wore a white shirt with the letter 'R' on front and long white pants, a black shirt underneath with black boots and gloves.

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!" The female identified herself.

'Big sister, that really you?' Sam thought, looking at the female than her brother, who seemed just as surprised as her.

"James!" The male identified himself.

"Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light!"

"Surender now or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth, that's right?" A small cream color cat-like Pokemon appeared in front of Jessie and James, standing on two legs.

"What are you talking about?" Ash asked.

"He just doesn't get it, does he?" Jessie said.

"How can I? You don't make sense," Ash stated.

"Big sister, is that you?" Samatha said.

"Huh?" Jessie said, confused, hearing Sam and turned to look at the other girl next to Ash and eyes widened for a minute seeing Sam and Cody. "Sammy and Champ?"

"What, Sammy and Champ?" James said, confused.

"It's you, after all, big sister Jessica," Cody said after hearing the nicknames.

"Big sister, you have siblings?" Meowth said.

Jessie just stared at her sister and brother, not expecting to see them after so long.

"No way it really you," Sam muttered.

"Enough distractions were here for the Pokemon," Jessie said.

Samantha sighed, seeing her big sister wouldn't say anything else to her and Cody.

"You're not getting Pikachu," Ash said, moving closer to his Pokemon.

"Pikachu? We're not interested in your precious electric rat," Jessie scoffed.

"We seek only rare and valuable Pokemon," James said.

"You're wasting your time. This is a center for weak and injured Pokemon," Nurse Joy informed.

"Well, that might be so, but I wouldn't be all surprised if we find some little Pokemon he's among all the junk," Jessie said.

"Hey, stop ignoring Cody and me," Sam said.

"Hm seems she is getting annoyed, isn't that cute," James said. "Koffing, attack!"

"Ekans, go!"

Koffing used smokescreen as Ekans was running over towards them. They ran off into a room with pokeballs. Suddenly the power flickered off.

"Hey, the lights," The orange hair girl said.

"They must, of cut the power," Nurse Joy said but then smiled a little. "But we've got our own power source."

Everyone looked inside the room and saw there was a generator machine with Pikachu inside running and powering up the center.

"Oh, look at all the Pikachu!" The orange-haired girl said with a big smile.

"Vulpix," Kitsune said, looking at the Pikachu.

A computer turned on. "We must save those pokeballs," Nurse Joy said.

The Pokeballs were grabbed one by one to a machine as Nurse Joy talked to someone on the computer, transferring all the Pokeballs to another Pokemon center.

Suddenly smoke broke through the doors, and Koffing smashed through the doors, and Koffing smashed through the doors, smashing into the Pokeball shelves, causing the pokeballs to fall on the floor.

"Get those Pokeballs," Nurse Joy said.

"Right." 

Sam and Cody looked to see Ash grab a Pokeball.

"This is war! Don't hold them! Throw them!" The orange hair said.

"Alright, Pokeball, go!" The raven hair boy threw a Pokeball to reveal a pidgey. Pidgey was the strongest Pokemon, especially against a snake Pokemon like Ekans.

The raven hair boy threw another one to reveal an empty ball. He threw another one to reveal a Rattata, but it backed down.

"We won't get anywhere this way," Cody stated. "Why don't we see what this can do," He dug into Sam's vest pocket and grabbed the strange Pokeball.

"That Pokeball," Jessie said, noticing the familiar Pokeball.

"Hey, that one of that a rare premiere Pokeball if I recall, there hard to find in stores," Meowth said

"Really well, big sis, you were lucky to get one, then it was in your room, so you got it somewhere, but what is it?" Cody asked.

"Doesn't matter, Ekans. Get it before he sends that Pokemon out," Jessie commanded with a slightly panicked tone.

Cody sighed as Ekans took the Pokeball and grabbed one from short pockets, and threw it. "Go, Kaji!" He shouted, sending out his Charmander.

"Charmander!"

"Kaji, use Ember!" He called out. Kaji attacked Ekans and Koffing, knocking them to the ground for a minute. The orange hair girl then steps forward.

"You three grab Pikachu and get out of here. I'll take care of these three clowns," She said, holding a Pokeball.

Cody returned Kaji to its Pokeball before looking at his sister, then the raven hair nodding and then ran on out of the room with Pikachu on the gurney as Ekans and Koffing followed after them. The gurney bumped into the girl's bike and caused Pikachu to wake up, but he was still weak.

Sam looked at her sister and the rest of her team. "Fine, if I can't get you to talk, then I force you to tell me why you left. Go Anahita ice beam." She said, sending out Horsea.

"Horsea!" Anahita cried out and attacked them, freezing them slightly. Sam then turned to look and see Pikachu sitting on up as all the other Pikachu zapped him recharging his energy.

"Pikachu!"

"Pikachu!" The boy said happily.

"Do I have to do everything myself?" Meowth asked as he got in front of Jessie and James. "That mouse is cat food. Meow! Just wait, Pikachu. You are mine."

"Pika, pika, pika, pika," Pikachu said.

"Pika? Pika?"

"Pika."

"Pika, pika power?"

"Pika!"

"So you want more power."

"Huh?" Cody questioned, seeing the raven hair boy getting on the burnt bike with Pikachu hopping in it and zapping team rocket, causing an explosion and blowing a large hole in the roof in the power center.

The following day after a good night's sleep and getting their Pokemon healed by Nurse Joy. Samatha and Cody we're now heading out of the Pokemon center.

"Hey, wait up!"

They turned around to see the same boy from last night running towards them.

"Oh hey there," Cody said.

"I see your Pikachu is healed," Sam said, sending his Pikachu.

"Pikachu, Pika."

"I never did get your guy's name last night," He said.

"They names Cody Andrew," Cody introduced.

"Samatha Andrew," Sam introduced. "And you are?"

"Oh right, I'm Ash Ketchum," He said.

"Nice meeting, you guess, but we need to get going," Cody said.

"Hm, wait, Sam and Cody," Ash started.

"Yeah?" Sam asked curiously, her head tilted slightly.

"I was wondering if you both would like to travel with me?" He asked.

"I don't know what do you think, Anna?" Cody asked, looking at his sister.

"I don't know right now. All I can think of is looking for big sis," Sam muttered."Through I thinking about it won't solve anything. I guess we can travel through Viridian forest," She finally agreed.

"Vulpix!" Kitsune said, hopping out of Sam's arms saying hello to Ash Pikachu.

"Looks like Kitsune agrees as well. We travel together through Viridian forest then split ways after," Cody said.

"Hold it!" A familiar female voice shouted.

Everyone turned around to see the girl from yesterday.

"Hi, umm." Sam trailed off, not knowing her name.

She smiled kindly at Sam and Cody. "I'm Misty," She said, then turned to Ash angrily. "And I'm not done with you! Have you already forgotten about my bike?"

"Can't you just let go of it?" Ash asked, as he waved his hand in front of him.

"No way! You promised you'd pay me back!" She said.

"Did I really promise you that?" He asked.

"I won't stop until you get me a new bike!" She said.

Suddenly Ash started to run off with Pikachu as he shouted. "Come on let, let's try and lose her," He grinned. Sam sighed and picked up Kitsune and ran after Ash, with Cody following along.

"Hey! I'm not done with you! Get back here!" I heard Misty shouted as she ran after them.
