The Process - Ch.4

≪ °❈° ≫

It was Thursday evening and Jin was packing his bag for a business trip to Japan. He was called for a photo shoot for a new perfume "Infinite" for a famous Japanese brand, and he was very excited. He was glad to go. He wanted to get away from V for a while, especially after what happened.

Jin still had the teeth marks on his shoulder where V bit him in passion. He wanted to slap himself every time he gently ran his fingers across the sore spot. He felt stupid butterflies in his stomach from one single thought – that V marked him. But then reality hits him that V doesn't want him and the feeling feels bitter, and he wished he could erase everything.

He was angry at himself the most. He was mad because he still wanted him. He wants to belong to him. To be protected and guided by him. But V doesn't want that. Why doesn't he want this? Why doesn't he want me? Jin kept asking himself. It really baffled him, especially because at some crazy level V was holding onto him. He was possessive and jealous and he hated everyone who got close to Jin. Now, why would he act like that when he does not want a relationship with him?  Jin wanted to scream. It was all so bloody confusing. They seriously have a fucked up relationship going on, the pair of them.

Jin's thoughts wander at all those parties V took him to, the ones that end up with loads of alcohol and sex with a bunch of unknown people. Light drugs and gambling sometimes followed, but mostly it was lust and perversion. Why does he drag me there?

V's possessive nature didn't allow Jin to develop any romantic relationships, but that didn't stop him to sit and watch him fuck a complete stranger. At those parties, Jin usually didn't know whose hands were touching him or how many were there. He had no idea whose mouth was kissing him, licking or sucking him. The orgies were V's favourites because Jin would always lose track of whose body he was touching and playing with. It was like he didn't want me to get attached to one person. Jin thought at one point, as the realization caught up with him.  And yet he wants me satisfied and lenient.

In the end, they had their little twisted personal game going on between them. Whenever they would go to one of those parties they would watch each other enjoying sex. Male or female, it didn't matter, they loved them all. They would never touch each other but just watch one another having sex, sometimes simultaneously, with other people. To Jin, it always looked like they fuck each other in their minds, even if not with their bodies. So wrong, and yet so exhilarating.

Jin often asked himself what is wrong with him. Why couldn't he just forget about V? And why V wouldn't leave him alone? He even grew angry and jealous sometimes as other men and women touched Jin, focusing too much attention only on him. Jin could see it in his eyes, they are flashing with icy fire. He would watch Jin deep into his eyes whenever he would take out his anger onto the (un)lucky partner for that night. Rough and wild, and Jin would always wish it was him in their stead.

It would always wake something primal and wild inside Jin's chest, whenever he watched V in action. The hypnotizing stare, that hot body, gorgeous face and certain sexual magnetism he oozed whenever he was in one of his wild moods worked magic on Jin. Each time he would become wild as V, and lay immense pleasure to his partners, in such capacities that people began to talk about him. They waited in line, they wanted a piece of him. V hated it. In the end, Jin was doing it just to piss V off.

It was like a competition. If V did something, Jin will do it two times better, if V quickens his pace, Jin is there, making his partner cry from pleasure. V would just laugh huskily at him, becoming even rougher, enjoying himself very much while sliding his eyes up and down Jin's body and face. Oh, how Jin hated him and loved those moments.

Clearing his head from those thoughts, Jin looked at himself in the mirror, finger still caressing a bite mark on his shoulder when V entered the room. Jin's eyes found him instantly.  The blond devil didn't say a word, just walked towards him silently, wrapping his arms around Jin's waist and placing his chin on Jin's wide shoulder.

His gaze suddenly fell on Jin's fingers, caressing the mark and his brow furrowed for a second. He bent his head suddenly to kiss the bite he made a couple of days ago and then, as he couldn't help himself, he trailed small kisses up, on Jin's neck, all the way to Jin's ear, making the latter close his eyes, enjoying the comfort he needed. Because, no matter how angry and frustrated Jin is with him, V would sense when he needs a simple hug, and would gladly give it without question.

-'' I am sorry Jinnie.'' - He said in a quiet voice. His voice was still deep velvet.

Jin opened his eyes at that to see if he was serious and then closes them again. -'' For what, for avoiding me or for the bite?''

-'' For both.''

Jin sighed deeply and lean his head back on V's shoulder. V buried his nose in the crook of Jin's neck and inhaled his scent. Jin always smelled so good.

-'' Do you have everything you need for the trip?'' – V murmured in Jin's neck.

-'' Mhm.'' – Jin hummed with his eyes still closed. He loved the closeness, he loved V.

V smiled, his lips moving slightly on Jin's soft skin. - '' You'll call me if you need anything, yes?''

Jin nods slightly once -'' Mhm.''

-'' Whenever you want...'' - V continues, leaving small kisses.

-'' Mhm.''

-'' Day or night, understand?'' - V was always too anxious when Jin was travelling without him. He always had to make sure that he is Jin's first thought if he finds himself in trouble. - '' Alright, darling?'' - He repeats when Jin didn't answer right away.

-'' Yeah'' - Jin opens his eyes to look at V. - '' I will.'' - He promises.

A wonderful smile adorned V's face then, eyes gentle as they watched him in the mirror. -'' Good boy.'' – He whispers,  kissing the skin there once more before stepping back from Jin slowly.

Jin almost whined a the loss of the touch. V just smiled softly but knowingly, wished him a safe journey and left, and Jin was alone in his room once more, still very much craving V's touch.

He sigh tiredly and took his shirt to put it on before tossing himself onto his bed where his laptop was. Suddenly the sound of a message echoed in the silent room, startling him a bit. Holding onto his heart Jin rolled on his stomach and reach for his computer. It was an email. The one he's been expecting for some time now.

Greetings,

After looking into your inquiry, I am happy to say that I have some results. The man you've been asking for, of the name of Jisung, the owner of the tattoo shop in your hometown, could only be Kim Jisung, age 26, a tattoo artist from Gwacheon. He had a tattoo parlour on Maebong-to, but it was closed two years ago when Jisung left after some slight scandal. He now resides in Tokyo, Japan, on Kamiuma Chome-32-12. He opened up a tattoo shop on 1 Chome-30-9 Sangenjaya, street.

He lives a pretty quiet life but is sometimes seen at underground parties, since he is quite a popular DJ, by the name of KJS, as well as an acknowledged tattoo artist. His clientele is usually wealthy and quite well-known in social circles.

In the attachment, I send you a picture of Kim Jisung.

Have a nice day.

Sincerely,

Park Minwae

Private Investigator

Jin quickly opened the attachment photo and stared at the picture of a very handsome dark-haired man.

He was lean, dark-haired, with tattoos that covered his neck, arms and even his temples. Jin remembered his face, some strange familiar feeling like he had with Hwan, but no matter how hard he tried, he still was in the dark. He had to find him and talk to him. Luck was on his side so far, since he happened to be in the same city where Jin is travelling to – Tokyo.

...

After an entire day of photo shootings, meetings and discussions, Jin was tired but somewhat annoyed by the lack of time needed. He wanted to go in search of the tattoo shop, and although he felt uneasy and anxious, he was determent to find the truth about his past. And if that means going searching puzzle piece by piece, Jin will do it. Deep down he was grateful to Hwan for giving him this clue, he didn't have to, but thankfully he did. Jin just hoped that his search wasn't in vain, because it was so hard to hide the money transfers for that Private Investigator, from V's observing eyes, and for some reason, Jin didn't want him to know.

It was 20 minutes past ten and the shop worked till 11 pm, so Jin thought he got just in time. He took a large breath to calm himself taking a large step towards the door. The bell announced a visitor, but it seemed there was no one in the shop at the moment. The blood-red walls were barely visible from all of the tattoo's photographs and the black and white chess tiles made a bold statement on the floor. There was the reception desk in the middle and a few white sofas in the corners. In the middle of the room were small pedestals with books filled with tattoo designs, while the piercing stall was on the left side behind the glass. The place looked amazing.

Right before Jin opened his mouth to call for someone, he heard a somewhat muffled husky voice. -'' In here, down the hall.''

The voice sent a tingling sensation up his spine. He knew this voice, he knew it so well.

You are so beautiful Baby Doll... He heard that sentence so many times in the past, he realizes. A memory. And considering the tone of the voice, it was used intimately.

Jin was very nervous as he started walking down the hall. There were a few doors, some on the left and one on the right, but only one was opened at the end of the hall, so Jin naturally went there. There was a man sitting in the chair at the table, with the cigarette in his hand, drawing something. Some ambient music for meditation was silently played in the back and it was in such of contrast with the wild look of the man.

He was wearing oversized short sleeves plain black shirt. One leg was bent in the knee and lifted on the chair, covered in tight ripped black jeans. Leaning on it was his arm that negligently held up a cigarette. The smoke was engulfing him and he looked so surreal. The black ink covered his arms, neck and even some part of his face. They look strikingly bold on his porcelain skin, standing there proudly as some intricate ancient pattern.

Jin never liked people covered entirely by tattoos. He didn't mind a few small and meaningful ones. On Jisung, however, they looked hot as hell. Maybe it's the aura of a bad boy, the charisma that you need to have in order to pull tattoos so naturally. Jin only knows one person with such effortless graciousness, and now, it seems that V got himself a rival.

If V was like a tiger, then Jisung was a panther, black and gorgeously dangerous. His black hair was tousled and fell across his dark almond eyes which never left the piece he was working on, while his other hand quickly moved across the paper, adding a bit of shade here and there.

Jin observed him for a few seconds, sudden images of those hands touching him, flared up in his mind and he quietly gasped, fighting the images that flung in his head.

They were just bits of images and memory. They disappeared quickly as they came and Jin was confused even more. He knew this man. He knew they have a past together, a steamy one as it seems. Did they have an affair too?  He wondered.

He cleaned his throat. -'' Umm, Jisung... hi.''

Jisung's pencil stopped its movement on the parchment and Jisung's body froze.  He looks straight into Jin and there was a surprised, but an excited gleam in his eyes. When he spoke, however, his voice sounded harsh, like he didn't use it for quite some time, but Jin could still sense the need. -'' Well, now this is a surprise.''

Jin didn't know what to say to that, and luckily he didn't have to, because Jisung continued speaking. -'' I didn't expect to see you, of all people...ever again, to be honest.'' - He says, eyes sliding up and down Jin's form appreciatively. - ''Especially not here, in my tattoo shop.''

-'' Umm...'' - Jin began but had no idea what to say. Where even began explaining?

Jisung was not done, though. -'' It's good to see you again, Baby Doll.''

Jin's eyes narrow at that. Baby again. Worst, Baby Doll. What the fuck? What's wrong with men and that stupid nicknames? Who the hell does he think he is, calling him like that? Jin was raging in his head, but then the memory of Jisung's voice, whispering ''Baby Doll" was there, and it sounded so hot and so intimate, that Jin felt heat rushing to his cheeks and his ears. His heart was thumping loudly and he wondered how Jisung can't hear it. It was too loud in Jin's ears.

The faint memory of him loving that nickname before baffled Jin. He kept wondering why he allowed men to treat him as a fragile creature. Cute nicknames, a weakling to be protected. Hwan was the dominant one, and in a way, it's understandable why Jin would submit to him. He was older and more mature, and Jin was very inexperienced and young. Hwan was Jin's first. His first of many, really. But Jisung... where does he stand?

The way he said Jin's nickname was so serious, yet casual like it was used many times before. It was filled with meaning and fondness, and no wonder Jin's memory showed of him loving it. It's not just words, it's how are they spoken.

While this monologue happened in Jin's brain, he didn't notice that he stood silent for almost a minute. Jisung just observed him calmly, trying to absorb, just as Hwan did, as much of Jin's features to his memory. But after another ten or more seconds he placed his pencil down, took the last drag of his cigarette and exhaled the smoke through his mouth slowly and teasingly, before stubbing it down in an ashtray.

Jin watched him captivated. Jisung's every move was elegant, yet edgy. His aura was strong and mesmerizing and Jin stopped breathing when Jisung stood up from his chair and took a few slow steps towards him.

The tattooed hand touched Jin's chin, fingers caressing the cheek, while the thumb glided across Jin's lips. Jisung's eyes were on those lips, sliding up towards the eyes.

-'' Damn, even though I know how gorgeous you are, Baby Doll, you still make me breathless.'' - He looked at Jin's lips again where his thumb caught a lower lip and opened his mouth a little.  Jisung's tongue went out to lick his lips, and his eyes snap to Jin's again, filled with hunger. - '' Can I kiss you, for the old time sake?'' - He asks hopefully.

Jin's mind was blank. The only thing he registered was Jisung face and a comforting sense of familiarity, even though he didn't know who he is and what they had. He didn't even register the question that was asked. He just stood there, frozen, staring into Jisung's eyes and then his tongue that wetted his lips. His heart was drumming fast, and so loud.

He saw Jisung smirk, and say. -'' I'll take that as a yes.''

Yes, what? His mind asked, confused, but all he saw was Jisung's face coming closer, and closer, and then he was kissing him. Jin almost fainted.

This chapter was calm enough, an intro of sorts of what's yet to come. I hope you like it though. Stay tuned for more.
