Not that long time ago,

There were two Shield Agents who were from different families and two different states. One Shield Agent was a young man who was the best trained fighter and the second Shield Agent was a young lady who was almost the best archer. They have families both in Pennsylvania and Arizona for being agents for Shield for generations since the end of WWII. Both of them didn't know they were destined to be together. They both graduated early from the very best Shield Academy. The two agents finally meet after looking for a location for future Shield headquarters in Arizona. Two agents start a very sweet friendship for a couple of months and soon start a relationship that is risking their lives. They get married in a small ceremony with a couple of friends and family members. They soon move to a private house not that far from a small town in Northern Arizona. Newlyweds take a break from working for Shield after they get married and start a new life together. Their new private house was one of the safe houses in Northern Arizona to keep their lives safe from not risking their lives.

Three years after they got married where they finally decided to start a family before they risked their lives. The two agents finally have one daughter who was born in the early morning in the early fall. They cherish their baby daughter and raise her to be a lovely, curious girl. Soon they got a message from Director Fury who has requested them to return to Shield and promised to send his trustful agents to take care of their baby daughter. Two agents returned to Shield and spent time with their baby daughter when they found time. The two agents don't know if they are going to be there to watch their baby daughter grow up.

Then two years later, two agents were back at their house and packing their things, including their little girl's things. They were getting ready for a dangerous mission and knowing that their little girl had to be at the very top safe house to keep her safe. They brought their little girl to the safe house where it's located in an unknown location somewhere in Northern Arizona. They were talking with their fellow agents and saying goodbye to their little girl. Two agents walked into another room after putting their little daughter on the couch in the living room. Young man looked at his wife while he noticed his wife was very worried about their only child.

"Alisha, you should know why we have to leave our little girl here for her safety. Fury has given us this mission for us to figure out why bad people want to do something trouble to our small family. Now I'm going to talk with other agents to let you spend time with our little daughter." Alisha's husband said to his wife.
Alisha took off her necklace around her necklace for knowing her little girl should have her archery necklace for being from her family for generations. She looked at her husband for staying strong for her husband.

"Aillard, I do know about our mission for not knowing when we are going back to our little girl. I do know that we should put our trust in Director Fury and two agents to protect and help our daughter. You should tell other agents about it to get word to Fury. Now let's go back to the living room before we leave for our mission." Alisha said to Aillard. They walked back into the living room where Alisha took off her necklace and put it around her little daughter's neck. She looked at her daughter while thinking about what her mother told her when she was her daughter's age.

"My dearest little hummingbird, you have to be brave and strong for me and your dad. You are going to stay here for a long time if we don't come back. You should know that you have the heart of archery and have pure ancestry. You have to follow your destiny and future in finding who you are going to be. Me and your father will always be there for you in your heart." Alisha said to her daughter.
Alisha hugged her little daughter after she looked at her necklace around her daughter's neck. She doesn't know when she is going to see her again, knowing it's the only way to protect from the risk. Their little daughter finally got a final hug from her parents and she watched them leave the house on the top of the porch stairs. She stays there watching the van driving away from the house. She deeply hopes to see her parents once again without knowing what her mom says to her. Soon she falls asleep on top of the porch stairs after watching her parents disappear into the forest. One of the agents grabbed the little girl off the porch and brought her to her new bedroom. One of the agents put the little girl down on her bed where the little girl still fell asleep after she fell asleep on the top of the porch stairs and brought to her new bedroom to sleep on her new bed. She deeply hopes to see her parents once again in not knowing what her future was going to be.

Four months later, Aillard and Alisha send their last report to Director Fury before they disappear during their final mission without anyone knowing what happened to them. Their final report was giving their will to Fury who has given him remission for protecting their only child from the unknown threat. Director Fury and his faithful agent went on a private flight to Northern Arizona to the safe house where Agent Aillard and Agent Alisha's daughter was staying. They arrived at the local airport after their private flight landed at the airport and took a private van to drive to the safe house in an unknown location. Director Fury and his faithful agent got out of the private van to walk into the safe house. Director Fury walked upstairs to find the little girl sitting on her window seat looking out her window. He walked towards the window seat and sat down next to her. Little girl turned her head around and saw a familiar face remembering hearing from the Shield agents. Director Fury gives her a picture of her parents on their wedding day and he looks at her with a sad look on his face.

"Kayla, I'm so sorry about saying this to you that your parents will never come back from their final mission." Fury said to Kayla.
Little girl hugged the picture of her parents and started crying about losing her parents. She holds her mother's necklace in hands while holding the picture. She was so very heartbroken for being all alone after waiting for so many months for her parents to come back. Fury got up from the window seat and walked out of the room into the hallway to the stairs. He walked down the stairs and walked towards his agent who was talking with other agents. His agent turned his head and saw Fury walking towards him.

"Fury, how was Kayla's reaction from hearing about what happened to her parents?" His agent asked Fury. Fury brings his agent onto the porch to have some private time after letting one of his agents check on the little girl and look at his agent after closing the front door.

"Coulson, she is not doing well after trying to explain by giving her a picture of her parents. You should know that we have to keep their promise. I'm going to let you get reports from your fellow agents who will protect Kayla for being very good friends with her mother." Fury said to Coulson.
Coulson remembers how he met Alisha when she was a new agent for Shield. He was very impressed by how she was good at archery like her mother. He remembers reading files about her family's history after wondering why Alisha was very good at archery. He knows it might be important for something in the future. Coulson looks at Fury after getting out of his thoughts.

"Fury, you should know that Alisha would trust me to protect her only child in being a very trustful and helpful friend. I have helped guide her for being almost the best agent in Shield. I heard the tragic news about what happened to her and husband during their mission. I didn't know who might have been part of kidnapping them after hearing rumors about them. I would keep that secret from Kayla for her safety and let her think of losing her parents. I want to ask your permission to let Kayla attend the same academy like her parents did after her sixteenth birthday." Coulson said to Fury. Fury grabbed a file from his small suitcase and gave it to Coulson. Coulson opened the file after grabbing it from Fury and looked at the information about Alisha's ancestry.

"I got a team of agents to search for information about Alisha's ancestry in figuring out why Alisha and Aillard were kidnapped after giving me their last report. I would give my permission for Kayla to attend the academy after she turns 16 years old. Now I'm going to give a very high level mission for Agent Clint to keep an eye on Kayla and report back to me knowing he would help her in the future. Now I should let you stay here for a few days to let her get to know you." Fury said to Coulson.
Coulson nods his head to Fury and watches him walking down the stairs towards the Shield van. Coulson walked back into the safe house after watching Shield van leave the safe house. He walked up the stairs while he went into his thoughts about caring for his friend's daughter. He thought about what to do for his niece, who would be staying at the safe house for a very long time. He remembers how Alisha hopes to start a family of her own and be almost the best archer in Shield. He walked down the hallway where two agents were walking out of his niece's room to have a worried look on their faces. He walked towards them where one of the agents looked at Coulson who was walking towards them.

"Sir, little Kayla has been crying and we don't really know what to do to help her. We figured out that you should be able to help her after being good friends with her parents. Yes, we heard about what happened to her parents from Fury and we will keep the secret from her until the time is ready to tell her. Me and my fellow agents are here to keep their wish to protect and continue raising their only child." One of the agents said to Coulson. Coulson put his hand on one of the agents' shoulders and he looked at them for being very proud of them. He was proud of the agents who were going to stay here at the safe house to keep the little girl safe.

"Thank you, Evelyn and Ikaika, for being the very best agents to Shield for giving your lives to protect and continue to raise little Kayla. Both of you should go down to make some baked goods and sweets for little Kayla. I know it would lift her spirits. Now I want to talk with her alone." Coulson said to the two agents.
Evelyn and Ikaika walked down the hallway and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. They started making baked goods and sweets from learning their family's recipes from both their families. Coulson walked into his niece's room where he saw her laying down on her bed and noticed the picture of her parents on her window seat. He grabbed the picture off the window seat and looked at the picture. He remembers being at his friend's wedding and being part of the wedding party. He was one of the groomsmens after becoming good friends with Aillard. He put the picture down on the bedside table and sat down on the side of the bed. He put his hand on his niece's shoulder and he looked at her, seeing her still having tears down her face.

"Kayla, you should know that I'm here to cheer you up to be a joyful child like you used to be when your parents were alive. Now I heard there was delicious baked goods and sweet treats in the kitchen. You might like to eat some to cheer up your spirit." Coulson said to his niece. Kayla turned her head from laying on her pillow and tried to clean her face from crying. She looked at the picture of her parents on her bedside table and she nodded yes to the familiar person. Coulson helps Kayla get out of her bed and bring her out of her room into the hallway. He brought his niece down the stairs and into the kitchen, where Evelyn and Ikaika were frosting some of their baked goods. Ikaika looked up from frosting some cookies and saw Coulson bring Kayla into the kitchen. She grabs a plate with finished frosted cookies off the kitchen counter and brings it to Kayla.

"Aloha Kayla, I'm glad that Coulson has got you to leave your room after hearing what happened to your parents. Me and Davis have been baking here in the kitchen to cheer you up. You should know me and my fellow agents know your parents for being great agents for taking risks. You could make your parents proud by being a happy and joyful child. We should enjoy some cookies and hot chocolate." Ikaika said to Kayla.
Kayla nods yes while she stays silent on missing her parents in her heart. Coulson brought Kayla to the living room and Ikaika walked back into the kitchen to make some hot chocolate. Kayla sat on the couch before noticing the pictures of her parents holding her after she was born on top of the fireplace. She realized that she still was holding her mother's necklace and she put the necklace around her neck to keep her earliest memories of her mother alive in her heart. She remembers her mother giving her necklace before leaving the safe house with being her only last memory of her mother. She starts to remember her mother telling her bedtime stories about a very skilled archer who protects her village and family from threats. Coulson saw Kayla was looking up at the picture on top of the fireplace and noticed she still missed her parents. He got up from the couch and went into the kitchen where Davis was making hot chocolate on the stove with Evelyn helping her with putting three mugs next to the stove.

"Evelyn, Ikaika, I'm going back to headquarters to see that Kayla would be fine with you and other agents to help her. I'm planning to do yearly visits to check on Kayla's progress every middle of summer. You could send me your report at the end of this month, hoping that Kayla doesn't be sad to be a joyful child again. I would return to bring more orphans to the safe house who lost their parents from threats and dangerous missions." Coulson said to Ikaika and Evelyn.
Ikaika and Evelyn nodded at Coulson in knowing they were going to protect and continue to raise Kayla to keep her parents' wishes. They watched Coulson walking out of the safe house toward the waiting private van and he got into the private van. Coulson returned to the airport and took a private jet to return to Shield headquarters. Ikaika and Evelyn help Kayla through the days to weeks to be a joyful child once again. Kayla enjoys her new life at the safe house to have private tutors who were Shield agents from headquarters. She learned to speak different languages, cultures, history, and other things over her young life.

Three months later, Kayla was in her bedroom when she noticed a familiar van coming into the driveway and she watched a familiar agent helping a young girl out of the van from her bedroom window. She watched Ikaika and Evelyn walking out of the safe house towards the familiar agent and young girl. Kayla walked out of her bedroom and downstairs to the front door to realize it was opened. Kayla sat down on the stairs to watch Davis and Evelyn bring the young girl into the house after talking with the familiar agent. The familiar van was driving away from the driveway into the forest. Kayla walked towards the young girl who looked almost the same age as her. Ikaika was holding the young girl's hand and she looked down at Kayla.

"Kayla, I want you to meet Kate, she is the new girl here at the safe house after experiencing something similar to you. I hope you would make you feel like home and family here at the safe home. Now I'm going to the kitchen to make some lunch and snacks. I would let Evelyn bring Kate to her new room to have some time alone before lunch." Ikaika said to Kayla.
Ikaika handed Evelyn to take the young girl to her new room. Kayla followed them upstairs and down the hallway to the room where Evelyn helped the young girl on the bed. She walked into the room where she saw the young girl was having tears down her face. She got on the bed and took off her mother's necklace to show it to the young girl.

"I want to show you my mother's necklace to let you know that you are not alone and I'm not alone either. I had the same feeling when I got the news about what happened to my parents. I'm here to help you get through this dark time of your life. I am Kayla and we could be like sisters in helping each other." Kayla said to the young girl.
Kate was cleaning her face after crying so much since she arrived at the safe house and she looked at Kayla with tears in her eyes.

"I'm Kate, I used to live in London, England with my parents. I was four years old when a group of people invaded my house for unknown reasons. My mother brought me to a safe room in the basement while my father was fighting with the strange group to give my mother time to get me to the safe room. She gave me her jewelry box to say something that sounded like goodbye. She locked the safe room to join my father to fight the strange group for unknown reasons. I held my mother's jewelry box in my arms while wondering what was happening outside the safe house. Soon I started to hear yelling and screaming from the safe room before going silent. I stayed in the safe room for a day or two, until a group of Shield agents found me after searching through the house. They brought me out of my house for the final time and brought me here to the safe house. I truly believe that I will find out what happened to my parents when I get older. I hope we can be friends and sisters to help each other." Kate said ro Kayla.
Kate grabbed her mother's jewelry box from her backpack and showed it to Kayla. She opened her mother's jewelry box and it showed her parents wedding rings and other things inside the jewelry box.

"Kate, this is a very beautiful jewelry box to have something to remember your parents. Do you know anything about your parents or your mother's jewelry." Kayla asked Kate.
Kate looked down at her mother's jewelry box in remembering her mother telling stories about the jewelry box. She looked up at Kayla while she held back tears in her tears.

"This is my mother's jewelry box that was made of cherry wood. My mother was given this jewelry from my great grandmother before she passed away when my mother was pregnant with me. I remember her telling me about her jewelry box that once belonged to an ancestor who used to live in England before traveling to the colonies during the American Revolution. It was my favorite bedtime story ever before being alone in the safe room. I used to live in Shield headquarters after the group of Shield agents found me alone inside my old home. The director of Shield sent me here to the safe house to start a fresh start on my life. I do know that I'm not alone with you, Kayla to be my new friend. Do you want to explore the forest after lunch?" Kate asked Kayla.
Kayla nods yes to Kate while she puts her mother's necklace back around her neck. Kate closed her mother's jewelry box and put it on the bedside table next to the bed. They got up from the bed and they walked out of Kate's bedroom into the hallway. They enjoyed getting to know each other while they walked down the stairs into the kitchen. Davis was finishing up making lunch and Evelyn was setting the dining dinner in the dinner room. Kayla and Kate walked into the dinner room and sat next to each other at the dining table. Davis brought their lunch to see they were becoming friends after seeing Kayla cheer up Kate. She was happy to see both girls being joyful once in their life. Kayla and Kate enjoyed talking and eating their lunch to almost feel like sisters. They finished eating their lunch and went to the back door to run into the forest where Shield agents were watching them from unknown places around the forest. Kayla and Kate went to the creek where they started to build their hut in search of tree branches and leaves near the creek to use for their hut. Kayla started to notice something in the distance when she was collecting tree branches wondering if someone or one of the Shield Agents was watching her. She went back to the hut after collecting some tree branches where Shield Agent was watching from hiding behind a group of trees in the distance to watch the young girl who was playing with another young girl. He recognized the young girl was the daughter of the Shield Agent who was almost the best archer in Shield. He went into the deep forest to return to Shield headquarters after he finished his time at the safe house. Kayla and Kate returned to the safe house after a fun time at the creek. They spend so many days exploring the forest after their lessons with their private tutors in the mornings.

Two years later, Kayla was ten years old and Kate was seven years old. They become best friends after spending so much time together and exploring some of the forest. They enjoy spending time together and sharing private tutors together who always come to the safe house every morning. They continue learning about different places in the world, languages, cultures, math, science, and other things. They enjoy learning to cook meals and making baked goods in the kitchen with Davis and Evelyn. Kayla truly enjoys having a friend like Kate who could make her feel like home and being true sisters. They enjoy reading books together either in Kayla's bedroom or Kate's bedroom. Kayla and Kate enjoy learning about where they were from two different worlds. They give each other support to keep each other company for not knowing what their futures were going to be. Both girls knew that they could help each other out with their studies and schoolwork as they knew they could work hard to become Shield agents like their parents.

One month later, Kayla and Kate were reading books in the living room doing their history lessons with their private tutors in the living room. They enjoyed learning about history as their favorite subject. They were reading books about Hawaii history, until they noticed the same van driving into the driveway and they put their books down on the coffee table. Ikaika walked into the living room after making lunch in the kitchen to let the private tutors end the girl's lessons early for today. Kayla and Kate got up from the couch and walked towards the front door. They stay on the porch to watch the familiar Shield agent helping a new girl out of the van. Davis walked out of the safe house and walked down the porch stairs towards the van. Brought the new girl into the safe house where Kayla and Kate followed them back into the safe house. Davis brought the new girl into the living room to let her wait until the new girl's room was ready and she returned to the kitchen to finish making lunch. Kayla and Kate start to clean up the living room to put books back in the bookshelf after they finish their lessons early. Kayla sat down on the couch next to the new girl who looks like she has been crying since she arrived at the safe house. She grabs some tissues from the small tissue box on the small table and gives it to the new girl.

"Here's some tissues for you." Kayla said to the new girl.
New girl grabbed the tissues and started cleaning her face after crying so much. She looked at the girl who was almost her age and she was holding the tissues in her hands.

"Thanks, I'm glad to have someone to do something kind to me. It's been really hard for me lately in my life since I lost my parents." New girl said to the kind girl.
Kayla noticed the new girl has some injuries on her legs and arms. She got up from the couch and grabbed an aid kit from the kitchen. She returned to the living room and started to help the new girl to attend to her injuries. Kate joined Kayla in sitting next to the new girl and she looked at her while holding her hand.

"Could you tell us about your name and what happened to you? You should know that you are safe now here at the safe house. You are here to start a new life with me and Kayla. Also I'm Kate, you could know my name." Kate said to the new girl.
New girl grabbed a small wooden box from her backpack and showed it to Kate. She opened the small box showing letters, notes, and some jewelry inside the small box.

"I'm Rosa, I used to live in Cancun, Mexico. It was a month after my thirteenth birthday when my madre brought me to a secret room in the basement of my house after my madre and padre got worried about something trouble was going to happen to our small family. They were Shield agents who always had deep feelings if something was going to happen. They took a couple of years off from working for Shield to spend time with their only daughter. Then, something terrible happened when a familiar person came into my parents house, where I started hearing yelling and screaming from the basement. I saw smoke coming from upstairs and I got out of the basement to see flames everywhere around the house. I went to the corner of the living room and stayed there holding my stuffed horse in my arms. Then I saw a Shield agent running into the living room and grabbing me off the floor. I soon fainted from the smoke in Shield agent's arms. I was badly wounded from being almost hurt by the fame and I was brought to Shield headquarters in an unknown location in Mexico. Shield doctors and nurses were helping me with my injuries when I got to the Shield hospital in Shield headquarters. I stayed there for two months and I learned that my parents were gone after I was taken from them. Some of the nurses helped me learn to speak English during my time in the Shield hospital. I was finally healed from my injuries that they sent me to Northern Arizona to the safe house. It was very hard for me to leave my birth home because it was my whole world, until I realized that I lost my parents from fire inside my old home in Mexico. Now I'm here in this strange and new world without knowing if my future is going to be. I do know that my madre and padre would tell me to keep remembering their memories to keep their spirits alive. One of Shield agents has given me this small box and told me what happened to my parents who died in the house fire. I was the only survivor and they don't really know if I have any family in Mexico. They told me everything before I left the airport to take a flight from Mexico to Northern Arizona with a group of Shield Agents. I should know that I would find the truth about who caused the fire and find out if I have any family left from either side of my parents." Rosa said to Kate.
Kate was happy and sad to know why Rosa came to the safe house after what she experienced. She put her other hand on the small wooden box and she looked at Rosa.

"I'm feeling so bad about what happened to you being rescued from the fire and losing your parents. We three girls have experienced different tragic events and losing our parents who were agents for Shield." Kate said to Rosa.
Kayla was putting bandaids on Rosa's arm and legs after cleaning them with alcohol free wipes. Kayla put things back in the aid kit and put it back in the kitchen. Kayla sat down next to Rosa on the couch and she opened her mother's necklace to show a picture of her parents.

"I should tell you two about how I got here in being the first child here at the safe house. I was born here in Northern Arizona and spent half of my young life there. My parents brought me here to the safe house before my fifth birthday and I started to remember. I only remember watching my parents leaving the safe house when I was sitting on the porch. I remember the Director of Shield telling me about my parents never coming back. It was very heartbreaking to find out that I'm an orphan without knowing if I have any family who knows if I'm alive. Now I'm no longer alone with my three friends and my Ohana/familia sisters." Kayla said to Kate and Rosa.
They were so happy to have each other back and formed their own friend group. They got up from the couch and walked into the dining room where Ikaika was putting lunch on the dining table. Ikaika was happy to see Rosa was happy once again like Kayla and Kate. She enjoyed listening to the three girls talking about where they were from in getting to know each other. Kayla and her two friends run out of the back door to their unfinished hut near the creek. Kayla and Kate show Rosa around their favorite spots in the forests. Kate brought Rosa to the creek and Kayla went into the forest to grab some tree branches not far from the creek. Kayla noticed someone in the distance when I was collecting tree branches and she returned to the creek to help build the hut. Shield agent walked into the forest and lifted a gift for Kayla on the rock near the safe house after making it for a few years. He went back into the forest to return to headquarters after leaving his gift for Kayla. Kayla walked back to the safe house to get snacks before noticing something on the rock. She walked towards the rock and saw its handmade wooden bow and arrows in a leather arrow holder. She grabbed them and ran back to the creek where her friends were sitting on the rock while having their feet in the creek water. Kate turned her head around and saw Kayla running towards them while Kayla was holding something in her hands.

"Kayla, what did you find? I thought you were going to get some snacks in the kitchen at the safe house." Kate asked Kayla.
Kayla shows Kate the handmade wooden bow and the leather arrow holder with some arrows in it. She sat down on the rock and started to remember what her mother said about having a true heart of an archer.

"Someone left me a gift on the rock and I have always thought about asking Ikaika to get a bow like the one from my book for my birthday. Maybe one of the other Shield agents heard my wish and made it come true. I'm going to the archery practice area and test out my new bow. Kate, you and Rosa could come join me to watch me practice and get some snacks from the kitchen. Me and Rosa could you, Kayla practicing your archery skills with your bow in the archery practice area." Kayla said to Kate.
Kate and Rosa got their shoes on after getting their feet out of the water. Kayla and her two friends walked back to the safe house to go back inside to grab some snacks from the kitchen. Kayla walked outside to the archery practice area and started getting her bow ready for her first archery practice. She started to point her bow at the target to have the arrow ready to shoot and hit the boost in the middle of the target. Kate and Rosa were surprised to see Kayla hit perfectly without practice. Kayla keeps practicing her archery where Kate and Rosa were making flower crowns in the garden. Davis and Evelyn watched Kayla practicing archery in the archery practice area on the back porch. Ikaika looked at Evelyn while she enjoyed drinking her coffee in her mug.

"Evelyn, I'm seeing so much of Alisha in Kayla who's going to be almost the best archer in her future. She would be a great student at the Shield Academy after her 16th birthday." Ikaika said to Evelyn.
Evelyn remembers when she was watching Alisha practicing archery when they were young Shield agents. She looks at Davis while she holds her mug to stay warmed.

"I could agree with you, Ikaika. We should plan to do something special for the girls this Christmas. We could ask Director Fury to find unique gifts for each of the three girls to make their Christmas more special. I remember Kate and Rosa's parents have friends in their homelands to help us find something for them. I could leave right now to travel to England to find Kate's gift and go to Mexico next to find Rosa's friend." Evelyn said to Ikaika.
Ikaika listened to Evelyn agreeing with her idea to find special gifts for Kate and Rosa. Ikaika looked at Evelyn while she was holding her warmed mug in her hands.

"Evelyn, you know that I'm alright with you being gone for a while. I'm fine with you traveling to two different countries to find special gifts for Kate and Rosa. I could go to Alisha and Aillard's house to find something special for Kayla's gift when the girls are asleep at night." Ikaika said to Evelyn. 
They walked back inside the safe house to start planning to find any information if they could find where any of the three girls' parents kept their belongings. Evelyn left the safe house after doing research with Ikaika and helping the three girls to get ready for bed. Evelyn went to the Shield headquarters in England to get help with Shield agents who knew Kate's parents. She went back to the United States to visit Kayla's parents' friend who she trusted with the deep secrets and find out what happened to Kayla's parents. Evelyn returned to Northern Arizona after two months of traveling to find gifts for Kate and Rosa. She shows them to Davis and they wrap them into unique gifts. They started getting Christmas decorations to decorate the safe house for Christmas with help from their fellow Shield agents.
