Ch9; The Church
"There!" Sidney said. The church was all set. Sidney walked up to a window to check the time.
4:55. Sidney thought.
"So, what are we going to do? Kill him or banish him? Once you choose one of those, we plan our plan around it." Neil said, sitting in one of the bench seats, next to a stack of bibles.
"Hmm..." Sidney said, placing a hand on her chin, thinking. "I believe that a part of him that good is still in there, I mean, he did say sorry. So, we can just banish him. But to where..." Sidney started thinking again.

"Hero, who was it?" Steve asked as Herobrine sat back down on the couch.
"Sidney." Herobrine answered simply. He looked at the ground.
"Hey! Your voice is normal again!" Steve said.
"It is! Oh my goodness! But... That still doesn't help..." Herobrine said looking at Steve.
"What happened?" Steve asked.
"Sidney knocked on the door and I snapped for no reason. She asked how I was, and I made fire... Out of my hand!" Herobrine examined his hand that he made fire in. "She fell down, and that's when I looked up.
"The whole village was standing there... Watching. That's when I went back to normal. I said sorry and then I walked over here." Herobrine said.
Steve patted him on the back. "It's okay. Hero I'm sure th-"
"No one understands! Don't you see!? I'm a monster!" Herobrine yelled. He teleported off the couch. He went to the top of the house, and turned himself invisible.
"And don't let any of the brothers know. Now, get back to the day, and thank you!" He heard someone say. He looked up and seen Sidney and Neil standing on top of the fountain.
The whole village was standing there, listening. Before they departed and went back to what they were doing.
'The brothers'? Who? In this village or another village. I'll find out. Herobrine thought.
He teleported behind Sidney and Neil, still invisible, and followed them into a church.
His head started pounding for some reason but he ignored it. He stood in the corner, not listening for about 35 minutes until he heard a conversation. He didn't catch it all though. He teleported where they was.
"...he did say sorry. So, we can just banish him. But to where..." He heard Sidney finish saying.
"Who are you talking about?" Herobrine said without thinking. Dang it. He thought.
"Who's there!" Sidney yelled. Herobrine sighed.
"Me..." Herobrine said as he turned visible again. He looked at the ground.
"You..." Neil said with discus.
"How much did you hear?" Sidney said quickly backing up.
"Enough to know I'm not wanted." Herobrine answered, looking up. A surprised look was on Sidney and Neil's faces.
"What do you mean?" Neil asked.
"I can't control it. I can't help it. I'm sorry for my actions. I don't know what's going on. I feel like I'm losing control. So you can- gah!" A shock wave of pain hit Herobrine again.
Sidney and Neil exchanged glances. Herobrine's eyes started changing to gray as he fought to keep them normal, so he wouldn't hurt them.
Sure, they hated him now, but he didn't want to hurt anyone.
"S-Stay away from me!" Herobrine said as he collapsed on his hands and knees.
"Neil! You have a sword! Give it to me!" Sidney yelled.
"What!" Neil couldn't believe what he was hearing. She said to leave him alive.
"I'm putting him out of his misery!"Sidney yelled. Neil sighed and looked at Herobrine.
He looked like he was in extreme pain, still on hands and knees.
Neil grabbed his sword and gave it to Sidney. Sidney walked over to Herobrine and raised the sword. But Herobrine stuck his hand up, somehow stopping the sword in the air.
Sidney gasped. "What!" She yelled.
Herobrine flicked his wrist and the sword flew across the room.
"You can't kill me." Herobrine said simply as he stood up. He had his head down.
"Uh..." Neil didn't dare move. He was too scared.
Herobrine shot his head up. His eyes were glowing and soulless again.
"Ah!" Sidney said as she fell. Neil got up and made a run to the door.
Herobrine raised his hand and Neil froze, unable to move. A laugh erupted the church. Sidney saw a bible near her and grabbed it. She decided to use it as a weapon.
She held it up in the air, the cross facing Herobrine. Herobrine screamed and dropped down on his knees again.
Sidney realized it was the cross. Herobrine put his hand that was holding Neil down to hold his head. Neil ran over to Sidney.
"What are you doing?" Neil asked.
"Get a cross!" Sidney said. Neil shot her a confused look and she gestured towards the cross on the bible. Neil nodded and grabbed a bible too. He held it up on the other side of Herobrine. He crept towards Herobrine like Sidney was.
Herobrine screamed again and stopped. He looked up. His eyes were blue again.
"I'm sorry. Please banish me." Herobrine said, looking at Sidney.
"We need your brothers in order to." Sidney said. She motioned them to stay there. Sidney walked out of the church.
Herobrine turned around to face Neil. Neil held the bible higher in the air quickly. Herobrine sighed and sit down. He sat his hand the stack of bibles to make sure he wouldn't go into Demond Mode again.

Sidney knocked on the brothers house and Notch answered the door.
"We need your help. Follow me and get Steve too." Sidney said. Notch nodded and turned around.
"Steve! Come on! Sidney needs us!" Notch yelled into the house. Moments later, Steve was at the door.
"Let's go." Steve said simply. Notch and Steve followed Sidney back to church.
"Hey, what are we doing?" Notch asked.
"We are going help Herobrine. And yes, he has approved of this. You need listen to me very carefully in order to do this right." Sidney said as she entered the church.
