(This arc may be coming to a close in a few chapters or so, and I am so ready. This arc has mentally drained me... so glad to get it over with. Didn't know I was capable of making so much drama, plotwists, and prolly a lot of unnecessary sexual content - I read a lot of yaoi lmao, couldn't help myself

Each arc also might be around 20 or so parts? Just to give you an idea of the length of each arc. I'm planning on there to be around five arcs in total. Idfk. Anyway I already have the ending to this arc planned, anyone want to guess how it ends? I hope I manage to surprise you. I'm planning on it to be dramatic and sad af - cus that's how I be - so stay tuned. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter!)

The ride home with Adonis was eerily quiet. Lucas nervously shifts in his seat as he peeks glances over at Adonis. He looks angry. Enraged. His face has set into a permanent glare, that if you hadn't know him before, you would think his face had always looked like that.

He's been like this the whole day, ever since what happened this morning. Lucas wanted to ask him what the hell that was all about - and he was planning on doing just that, but his nerves and the scary look on Adonis's face stopped him from doing so. Adonis looked like if he held onto the steering wheel just a tad bit tighter, it would snap. Lucas feared saying anything would break the already tense atmosphere and Adonis himself would snap - so Lucas didn't say a word. Adonis seemed off in his own little world. He was angry and... distracted. He was mumbling to himself, it made Lucas uneasy.

Lucas hadn't really seen Adonis in school for the whole day either. At Lunch he disappeared. He was nowhere to be found. Until Lucas went outside of the school and saw his car waiting to pick him up did he finally show up again.

Lucas was afraid. Was Adonis planning something? Is that why he skipped school, and why he seems so distracted right now? Lucas really hoped Adonis would leave Charlie alone.

-

They pulled into the driveway of Lucas's house after a very tense drive. Lucas opened the door and stepped out of the car, circling around and making his way to the front door. He paused when he didn't hear a pair of footsteps eerily close behind him, like he has for the past few days. Lucas turned around to see Adonis still in the front car, watching him intently.

Adonis had the window rolled down, and was still quite obviously, glaring. Lucas swallowed the lump in his throat, more curious on why Adonis hadn't gotten out of the car. Adonis answered for Lucas before he could even question him, "I'm going somewhere. I'll be back in about an hour."

Going somewhere? Lucas thought. He was actually leaving him alone? Was this Lucas's time to leave and head to Adonis's house?

"Lucas," Adonis enticed. His voice was calm, yet threatening. "Don't go anywhere, you hear me? I'll know if you do."

Lucas winced. What did he say? He'll know if I do? What does that mean? How could he know? Lucas decided to push those thoughts away and focus on a more pressing question. He really hoped wherever he was going didn't have to do with Charlie, he had to at least try and figure out what his plan was - if he really was planning something. But knowing Adonis, he was always planning something.

"Where are you going?" Lucas asked.

Adonis was silent, staring at him with a calculative gaze. His glare was gone now, and replaced with a blank expression. Adonis simply replied with a, "Don't worry about it," before pulling out of the driveway and making his way down the street. Lucas stared after the car with a frown. He sighed when the car rounded a corner and made his way inside the house. His mother was at work, and his sister still at school. He was all alone here. And being alone nowadays - it seemed to be a precious thing. He headed up to his room and kicked his shoes off, plopping down on his bed.

"I'll know if you do." Adonis's voice echoed in his head. Lucas was alone, but was he really? Was he... being watched? Was Adonis crazy enough to the point he put cameras in his house? Lucas swallowed the dread that made it's way up his throat as he suddenly felt much more aware of his surroundings. He felt himself looking at places that he wouldn't normally look, that his eyes would usually glaze right over. He slowly sat up, standing to his feet. He squinted his eyes and focused on finding anything that was out of place, anything that stood out.

Where would one find a hidden camera? Where would one look for a hidden camera? They could be anywhere. They could be anything. But everything looked exactly as it did, exactly as it did when he first came into this body, into this world. Nothing was out of place. Everything was normal. Completely... normal. Yet, Lucas felt as if a pair of eyes were watching him. From behind, from above, from each and every direction, watching his every move. He felt sick. A million pairs of eyes. Red and unblinking. He ran to the bathroom and to the sink, clenching the marble sink with both hands as he took unsteady breaths. His eyes wandered up, but instead of meeting a pair of his own eyes, he was met with a single eye. Red. Unblinking. The light of a camera, recording. It was small enough to the point you wouldn't notice it unless you were really looking for it. It was hidden behind the... mirror? Lucas stepped up to the glass, running his hand across the cold reflective surface until his finger ran across a small hole in the mirror. A very very small hole where the red eye was peeking through.

Lucas furrowed his brows. How had he not noticed this before? How many times had he looked into this mirror, not knowing someone else was looking back at him? Lucas quickly gripped the mirror from both ends and hoisted the mirror off of the hooks it was attached to, leaning it against the wall. Lucas froze. There it was. A small, black camera. There was a small hole in the wall, manmade, where the camera fit perfectly. Lucas didn't know what to think. He didn't actually expect to find a camera. Yet... there it was. Just sitting there, watching him. Were there more cameras hidden around his house? Adonis really wasn't lying. But this... this was going too far. He had an obsessive stalker living in his house. How had he only now just realized how dangerous this all was?

This was only another reason for Lucas to go through with his plans. He knew now the only way to escape Adonis long enough to be able to sneak into his house without the fear of being caught - was to drug him. He would have to drug him with something strong enough to where he would fall asleep for at least a couple of hours. It's not like Lucas hadn't done that before, though, regrettably it didn't go the way he expected it would. Hopefully, this time he wouldn't fuck it up. He couldn't afford to fuck this up. This time, he was being watched. He had to be careful with how he acted, careful with how and when he would acquire the pills that would do the job. He would have to slip the drugs into his food, somehow. No, the method on how he digested it didn't matter at this point. The easiest and most efficient way of getting the drugs into Adonis's mouth, getting him to swallow them, was from Lucas's mouth, to his.

Lucas felt sick even thinking of doing such a thing. Of willingly kissing that bastard, willingly giving him exactly what he wants. It sent a shiver down his spine, but he knew it would work. Adonis wouldn't pass up the opportunity. Lucas just had to make sure he wasn't acting too willing. He knew Adonis would see through his act - see that something wasn't right. So Lucas would be himself, but, just very subtly let himself be vulnerable around Adonis. Allow himself to... ugh, flirt with Adonis.

If he succeeded, and Adonis swallowed the drugs, then Lucas would go to his house, and destroy all evidence of the video of him and Adonis kissing. Then, if he found that the cameras really did belong to Adonis, he would call the police and get them to arrest his stalker ass. It was a solid plan on getting his rival out of his way once and for all. Then, he could finally focus on his main mission of becoming popular and escaping this world. He just had to follow through with it.

Lucas took a deep breath before picking up the mirror and placing it back on the wall. He strode out of the bathroom and back into his room. He didn't know where the cameras were, but he knew he was being watched. That Adonis was watching his every movement. Lucas didn't stand there for long and skipped down the stairs, to the kitchen. Are there cameras down here too? He wondered.

He opened the cabinet and grabbed a bag of chips, before walking over to the television in the living room and turning it on. He flopped down on the couch and watched the tv intently, stuffing his face with chips. He pretended to focus on what was happening on the television, but his mind was anxious. How long had it been since he had gotten home? Adonis said he would be back in about an hour. He had about thirty minutes left? Thirty minutes until he could enact his plan. His sister and mother would come home in about ten minutes. He would have to pretend to be his usual self around Adonis until after dinner. Before that he would drop some casual hints, and make his way to the kitchen to very sneakily grab the pills while Adonis was still at the dining table. Then he would get them alone.

Lucas snapped out of his train of thought when he heard the front door open. It must be his mother and sister. Had it been ten minutes already?

"Welcome home!" Lucas yelled as he kept his eyes on the television, mindlessly nibbling on the chip. He heard footsteps behind him but didn't bother turning around. It was probably his sister trying to scare him. He froze when he felt the space next to him dip. He felt an arm slither around his shoulder and from the corner of his eye he saw Adonis, sitting beside him.

What?! Why is he here? It hasn't been an hour! Lucas slowly chewed on the chip and swallowed hard. Adonis didn't say anything, he just sat there, with his arm around Lucas, watching the tv in silence. Lucas's eyes wandered to the arm around his shoulder, down to the hand that was in his peripheral vision. His eyes widened when he saw blood staining Adonis's knuckles. Blood? Where did that blood come from? Did he... hurt someone? Charlie?

Lucas knew better than to ask Adonis himself. One thing for sure was that he seemed calmer than earlier. That whatever he did in that thirty minutes he was gone managed to calm him. But Lucas had to make sure it wasn't Charlie. Lucas managed to wiggle his way out of Adonis's arm and stood from the couch. He winced when a hand gripped his wrist, stopping him from taking another step.

"Where are you going?" Adonis asked, suddenly alert.

Lucas didn't dare look back at him, "Bathroom. Going to get something for your hand..."

Lucas was relieved when the grip on his wrist loosened, Adonis seemed pleased with his words. Lucas really was going to get something for his hands. He couldn't afford his mother or sister seeing his hands and asking questions, he really didn't want to get them involved or anger Adonis in some way. Adonis finally let go of his wrist and Lucas very calmly walked to the bathroom. He could feel a pair of eyes burning into the back of his skull until he opened the door to the downstairs bathroom and shut it behind him.

Lucas very calmly walked to the sink and opened the medicine cabinet. He grabbed a disinfectant and a washcloth to clean off the blood, then some bandages. He was being careful, there might be a camera in here as well. Lucas pretended to drop the the bottle of disinfectant on the ground and bent down to search for it. He quickly pulled out his phone and sent a text to Charlie. (You get home okay?) He quickly pressed send and grabbed the bottle, standing up. He closed the cabinet and then washed his hands, very slowly, to pass time until Charlie responded. He scrubbed at his wrist where blood was dried onto his skin from Adonis's hand. Luckily for Lucas, Charlie was always a quick responder and answered in about a minute. Lucas didn't bother hiding the fact he was checking his phone and read the text, (Yeah :) ) Lucas was relieved. Charlie was okay... it wasn't him. So whose blood is that?

Lucas quickly sent another text to Adonis, telling him to come to the bathroom. He didn't want his mother or sister to walk in on them, or for his mother to get all worried and ask what happened. She could come home any minute. Lucas shut his phone off and slipped it into his back pocket. Unluckily for Lucas, Adonis was also quick to respond, and the door to the bathroom swung open. Adonis stood in the frame, staring at Lucas who just raised a brow in return. It was almost as if Adonis was already looking at his phone when he got the text - it hadn't even been a minute.

Lucas pushed that thought aside and stepped forward, pulling Adonis inside of the bathroom. Lucas shut the door behind him and led him by the wrist to the sink. Adonis stared down at him silently as Lucas took both of his hands and examined them. They were both equally bloody, with a few cuts on the knuckles. Lucas reached for the disinfectant spray and sprayed it onto his skin, then wetted the washcloth and wiped off all of the dry blood. Lucas tried to focus on what he was doing, knowing Adonis was watching his every movement intensely. Lucas then finished it off by putting a few bandaids over his cuts, and finally letting go of his hands.

"There, done." Lucas said. He couldn't believe he was actually cleaning up Adonis's wounds, but convinced himself this was just part of his plan. Hopefully Adonis would fall for it.

Lucas finally worked up the nerves to look up at Adonis and meet his gaze. Lucas didn't flinch away at how close they were standing, at how intimidating it was that Adonis was towering over him. He didn't avert his eyes either. He stayed perfectly still as Adonis tilted his head and moved his eyes from his lips. Adonis seemed amused... happy even, from the small smirk now on his face.

Lucas was relieved when he heard his mother's voice calling from the living room, saying she was home. But Lucas pretended to be flustered and looked away, clearing his throat. He certainly knew Adonis took notice. Lucas quickly put back the spray and walked towards the door. He opened it, and headed out into the living room, knowing Adonis was right behind him.

His mother and sister were at the dining table. His mother was placing down a few plates as she looked up and took notice of the two boys. She smiled, "Hey, I brought home pizza. I hope that's okay."

Lucas returned the smile, "Yeah, it's perfect."

Lucas sat down at the table, and Adonis took a seat beside him. Now all Lucas had to do was go the kitchen and grab those pills.
