The Next Day after a week

"eerrggh ,mum do I have to wear this dress to school" Aquila whine as she she fixes her summer floral dress.

"oh stop your whining dear and just wear what give child.your becoming like you father" her mother said fixing Zara's ribbon.

"since when? she is yours too ya know?" Dad said tutting and cooing sophie as he pass by.

"Chill mama chick..the school is fine and your a freshman now you have to go to school." jason said as he feeds sophie with her baby food.

"gaarh, this baby food is so mushy and weird.." jason made a face and everyone laughs.

Its everyone first day for everyone whether its work or school even highschool.

"but im so nervous...i dunno if people will like me or not." Aquila said in a small voice.

"Since When does Aquila Devlin..wait do have to use the lastname devlin?" Zara bluntly admit.

"Thats my surname dear and yes you do...haih" Dad with exasperated sigh.

"Dont worry dear, You will be just fine" as mum clearly wipe Aquila's sweat with a napkin.

"Besides you look like a sweet flower also a advice just be yourself.." mum said before she adds on.

"Your Friendly self..understood.i dont want no trouble from you" she pointed at aquila.

"or you young man" she pointed at Jason.

"What! why not?" jason said in accusing tone.

"Because soon me and your dad have to pay for the pranks you have done in your rebelious actions." Mum points out.

Aquila and Zara laugh at Jason fake pouty face.

Sophie gurgle as Mum lift up to wipe her mouth eith her bib.

"oh your so smelly, you need a shower after i send Zara to elementry school" Mum said bringing sophie upstairs

"Oh so i don't go now?" Zara thought aloud and went into the other room following mum.

Aquila sweatdropped and fix her hair and her satchel before and checking the documents before someone patted her head.

"Hahah stop panicking child, nursery and elementey start at 9:45 here while Highschoolers start at 8:00" Dad looks at his watch.

"and now its 7:30 okay kids get your stuff ready were leavin' now." Dad announced bringing his briefcase and fixing his watch.

He looks like a very professional business only that he very well is.

Jason took his rucksack on his shoulder and took an apple whereas Aquila follows behind anxiously.

"We're leaving honey! see you tonight!"he exclaimed before he walks out.

"Okay deary,Have a great day kids" was the reply.

In the car Jason was getting a little irritated with Aquila as she was fidgeting her seat.

Once they reach school their Dad sends them to the reception.

The elderly receptionist look and gave them a cheery smile.

"Hello and how can I help you?" she ask in her nice tone.

"Im here to register my kids, Jason Devlin,junior and Aquila Devlin, freshman" he said in a rush.

"alright sir,let me go and get their schedules" She said as she stands and went behind the door.

"okay i cant stay long but Jason you know the drill and show Aquila along the way.I have a meeting..bye" he kiss aqila on the forehead and pat jason's head before out of school.

"well thats leaves you and me baby sis." Jason said faking a sad tone.

"Sure , sure big bro" she giggled.

"Alright dearies.Now her are your schedules and your lock pin numbers,remember if you need anything come and see me alright?" She sad as she lead out of reception through the school corridors.

"Alright here go and have a great semester" she said before she left.

"kay now that we're here I have to go and sit in my classes now or schedules mare different since its base on our year." Jason said while Aquila nodded sadly looking down.

"Now dont be sad..you will make new friends" he lift up her chin to look at him.

"and besides your hot! i bet girls and guys will love you" he said before earning a slap on the shoulder from her while she is blushing.

"Owww thats my girl.Now run along to class quickly your class starts only another 20 minutes" he added.

But before aquila could ask he run off into a flush of crowd which is getting lesser.

"Oh no i didn't look at the schedule!" she said as she look at the schedule for today.

so she begins walking.

Monday:
English- Ms Davenport E7
Maths- Mr Zalu N4
Recess
Calculas- Mr Grusty D6
Biology- Mr Bloom F14
History- Mrs Gresberg J12

while she she was reading the schedule she bump into a hard chest and fallen over the floor with her stuff.

"ouch" the voice said.

Aquila panics and thought great its her first day of school and now she causes trouble she is doing the opposite of her mum telling her.

"Im so sorry! I wasnt looking where i was going and i was just looking table" Sahe rambles as she picks up her books.

"Its alright i should've been looking too" said the stranger.

Aquila was about to pick her last book and schedule before a hand took it and held it

She look up and met with a boy that has Dark blue eyes with tan skins and with stylish crop hair with dog tag.

Aquila guess that she has been looking to long before his mouth twitch to a grin and his eyes had glint or so made her fluster.

"My,you have wonderfully beautiful eyes, for a cutie" he said making her blush more.

Before she could take the book and schedule the boy held it back and he skimmed through the paper and his smile became wider.

"Aquila Devlin what a name and how coincidental that we have some classes together like English.." He said making her more relaxed and smile yet confused.

"Uhm hey sorry to ask but I didn't catch your name? " she ask in small voice. She has never been so our of words before but it something about him I guess.

"Ahahani guess I forgotten to say it oopps..my name is Adam Veirez" he took out his hand to shake hers.

"Adam...its quite commonly heard I guess...pleasure to meet you" she said shaking his hand but before she takes it away it was tighten a little before it was released.

"Its my pleasure really" he stood up and wipe off the dust off him.

he pull out his hand to lift aquila she hesitantly took it and wipe off her dress and she turn around to look at him.

he blush.

she was confuse at first until she realizes that her skirt got higher near her underwear.

she blush crimson red as she walk away a hand grabbed her.

"uhm..y-ya know we can walk to class together if you want?" he suggested.

she smiled and nodded and giggled a little because he looks flustered.

"why are giggling?"he ask in not funny tone.

"sorry..i didn't mean to really ,its just that most boys wouldn't well blush as much as you". Aquila answered

"E-eh.You gotta be kidding me and yet I thought I was cool.." Adam adds quietly.

"Its okay your always cool to me! Hey he anyhow we need to go to class..we're a tince late." She said after she pats her dress and walks away from him.

"Hey wait up!I'm in your class Maths class too!" He laughed out.

Aquila thought of something that would entertain herself.

"Catch me if you can,Adam" she said before running in a dress to class.

"Ooh is that how she wanna play it, this mean war" he mutters as he runs after Aquila.

They pass through the other students that was still lingering outside then turn a corner.

Adam nearly slip but not before hearing the joyous laughter of the girl in front of him.

"Heheh too clumsy slowpoke" she muster up to say.

her shyness fading away.

"Oh I wouldn't bet on what you say sweetness." He counters.

Aquila stopped in front the door with the sign 'E7'.

She about to open the knob when to strong arms catching her hips she gasp when he merely laugh amused by her reactions.

"You caught up quickly.. Thought you never catch up" Aquila snickers.

"Hahaha I can catch up when it comes to you.."he say sweetly.

"How corny!" aquila exclaims playfully.

"My middle name" he replies.

The open the door and the teacher give them an arch eyebrow and an amused smile.

"Ah now there's the golden couple" Ms Davenport announce making the class laugh.

They both blush crimson red not before Adam realising that he was holdingg her waist and let go her hips.

But he didn't miss a beat.

"But miss..I believe me and my bestie we got lost little before coming to class and I'm offended." He dramatically.

Aquila fight the urge to laugh out loud but only held out cute giggles.

"In what way are you offended?" She asks playing along.Aquila didn't even know why she bother to ask.

"Because I'm golden!" He said finally earning laughs from the class making her shake her head.

She looked at her as she tense but before seeing her smile kindly at her she return the smile back only to return the gesture.

But wasnt expecting what was said next.

"Control your cheeky boyfriend here,you are the only mature one in this class I believe."she said glaring at her students to quiet down.

She blush and back down a giggle before replying.

"Yes,Miss but I'm not sure I can stop him" she say honestly earning a chuckle from him.

"Oh Im sure you can you see..now take your available seats ,Mr Veirez and Ms Devlin ."

"Okay miss" they said in unison but two seats available and they sat far apart from each other.

"Are you punishing me,teach?" Adam announced shocked but aquila sat down at further front.

"What are your accusations this time Mr Veirez?" Ms davenport said sighing.

"Adam,let the teacher teach us ...please?" Aquila said softly not realising she doing the puppy eyes and pouty lips.

Adam look at her and his heart fluttered and clench at the sight,her bright sapphire orbs and supple pink lips would melt him right then.

"F-fine..but she is torturing me with you sitting away from me" he finally said averting eye contact and scratching his back of his head.

The whole class said 'awww' and others 'yuck' and vomiting sounds but aquila smiles blushing.

"Okay..class settle down and you,Mr Veirez sit down in your assigned seat,please" Ms davenport said smirking whereas Adam was pouting and sits on his own seat at the back.

He glance aquila and she wave at him and he waves back but with a sad expression.

Aquila giggles but not turning her greetings to the people beside her.

"Hi there,Im Aquila may I ask your name?" She ask nicely to the brunette next to her who is wearing big rimmed glasses.

"O-oh..hi I'm Natasha..please to meet you" she said shyly.

"Oh don't be shy..I don't bite really and I'm new around town.." She said whispering just in case the teacher heard.

Natasha just giggles and smiles her genially smile and nod.

"But can I call you Nat,Natasha seems such a long name.."aquila said lowering her voice.

"Ok and hahahah sure" she replies laughing.

"So what's your relationship with Veirez ,Aquila?" Asks a guy beside her.

She turns to see a guy with red hair and good looking face with a bit of mischief in him.

"And I was gonna ask you the same thing but only your name?"

The guy laugh beside her causing Ms Dvaenport stares at him to quiet him down and continue the lesson.

"Name's Cody and i use to school with that idiot you went in with." He replies as he chuckles.

"I heard that, Earls" Adam shouts as he throws the scrunch appear at Cody's head.

"Oww..that hurt dude,its not like I'm gonna steal her from you..sheeesh." Cody mumble making Adam to throw more paper at him.

Cody and Adam begin to bicker when the teacher threats them if they continue that spent a 90minute detention which got them quiet.

Classes were finish and the recess bell rings.

Aquila and Natasha went into the cafeteria getting tray and sit down at an empty table.

"Hahaha that's was funny.I cant believe Adam would do that." Nat laughs out.

Aquila laughs along nodding.

"Uhm..hi can I sit with you two?" Asks a soft voice.

They both look up to a beautiful African american with curls along her shoulder-length hair.

"Why of course,its not like anyone sits with us nerds" Nat said making Aquila look her funny.

"Since when are we nerds?..oh what's your name?" Aquila smiling brightly making everything seem positive.

"Oh..I'm Michelle,nice to meet.." She waited.

"Aquila,"

"Natasha but you can call me Nat."

Michelle nodded and said sweet she sits down with them.

Thats when the popular clique came in making everyone turn.Even Jason was in making the guys laugh.

When he spot aquila he gives her his signature smile and wave to her.

Aquila wave back smiling brightly.

"OMG you know him?Jason Devlin!?" The two of friends making aquila cringe but not too much.

"Well ...yeah..you see he is my--" before she could answer Jason pop down next to her.

" Baby Sister!...I see you made friends already..see what I tell ya?" Jason said making her smile.

When his clique sat down and heard they all went wide eyed.

"That hottie is your sister!!..why you never tell us!" They shouted at him.

"You guys never ask and see sis told ya your hot." Jason counters making aquila cheeks warm.

"Hahaha I'm just me guys,..no one likes me just yet."she said quietly.

"Of course someone will like you! Your insane saying not." Michelle says making Nat nod agreeing.

"Yup,even Veriez can't stop looking at ya" Jason said suddenly making aquila cover her face.

Everyone stares at him and he raise his brow clueless.

"What?Did I say something wrong?"Jason said annoyed.

"Nothing big Bro,just eat your lunch" aquila said blushing.

"Okie dokie" he said making everyone sigh.

After a few classes and school was finish everyone went home.

Aquila wave goodbye to her two new girlfriends and she begin opening her locker then a rose and a letter comes out of it.

"Oh what could this be?" She questions herself.

She reads the note that said:

This rose is for the most beautifullest girl I ever met sorry my grammar sorta bad but hey I'm only human.

Aquila wide eyed and blush as she hold the blue rose in her grasp.She smells it and said a thank you quietly.

She walk back to the school doors and walk down the steps.

She looks for her mum's car I spots it she runs to it when spots her mum,her red hair waving.

When she reaches her mum kisses her cheek and gushes.

"My what a beautiful rose,but still I forgot what's it stands for" her mum looks at it squinting.

"Where is Jason?"aquila.

"I don't know where that deliquient brother of yours gone."her mum grabbing her hat down as the wind blows harshly.

"My the wind is a bit swooshing then expected it" making aquila laugh with her.

"Oh there he is and why is he running while laughing.. That boy done some trouble again"her mumble as she open the driver door.

Aquila went in the car in que her brother in quickly as her begins to drive home.

"So how was school?" She asks them.

"Its cool" they both said unison.

"Oh great have heard that Zara did?she nearly push some one in the pond not just one but five of them!? I swear that girl worries me a bit" making the teens laugh.

"Hahah take chill pill will ya she might've taken some defense lessons from night class that were going now.." Jason suggested easing his mother worry.

"It could be that she is defending herself from those five people..she usually friendly but its seems that if you provoke her incorrectly..were in a hot soup of mess" aquila said sweetly.

"Oh those could happen..I mean I only send you guys to night school only after we finish a week ago.. I didn't she could be quick at picking up things." Her mum says lowly as they drive close to driveway.

"Well..we just found out we got powers and well a family that cares for us..so we're a tad rusty...I'm sorry its just hard to forget."aquila said softly as tears threaten to come out.

"Aww sweetheart I didnt to mention the pass.. I only wants best for my children..I think of you,Zara and Sophie as my beautiful girls..don't ever forget that." Her mum said the angelic voice that make her calm in ease.

"Say, aquila who gave you that blue rose? Is it Veirez?..Omg is it?" Jason said gushing as she change the subject fast.

Aquila blush so red as scarlet and begin punching him on the chest and babbling excuses making her mum and brother laugh at her antics.

She needs to enjoy life to the fullest for the people that she care about the most and as the years go by.

She will bring smile to the people she loves even if it only takes up a every second.
