Previously On The Symbol of Hope

Midoriya and Aizawa, along with Nighteye and the few other officers and chief, had finally taken down Irinaka who had been making the walls shift. After taking them down and gaining the strength to keep moving forward due to inspiring words from Lockrock to save the girl and give one last push to the end, Midoriya, Aizawa, and Nighteye all ran off and down the halls to try and make it to Eri. As they were running, an explosion happened right in front of them as they covered and looked through the dust. They saw a figure walking towards them and readied themselves, but lowered their guard in relief when they saw it was you in your regular state as you were cut up and beaten.

"Y/N-kun! Are you okay?" Midoriya asked as they came towards you and you wiped your lip of some blood.

"I'm fine, how about you guys?" You asked.

"We're fine. Where's Buu?" Aizawa asked.

"Him? I left him down in the basement unconscious. Where are you all off to?" You asked.

"We've stopped the one shifting the walls and are moving towards Eri's location in the basement. If you can move, let's go." Nighteye said.

"Yes, sir." You said as the four of you began to move.

"Someone needs to go back and secure Buu, I'll—!." Aizawa was cut off when you spoke up.

"There's no time for him. We have to get Eri, now." You said sternly as he stared at you. "Trust me, he's not going anywhere." You said as he looked forward and continued running.

"He better not..." Aizawa thought.

Mirio gritted his teeth before looking at him one last time with the burning rage of a hero in his eyes as he opened his mouth.

"CHISAKI!!!!!" He yelled in a rage as Chisaki snapped.

"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU I ABANDONED THAT NAME!!" Chisaki yelled as he activated his quirk and the ground began to reform.

Suddenly though, there was a huge rumble that made everyone stumble back and lose some balance. The fighters all looked towards the wall as pieces of concrete began to fall bit by bit and through the cracks a blue light slowly began to shine through the cracks as something could be heard.

"kaaaa...meeee..." They barely heard.

"What is that...?" Chisaki muttered.

"haaaa...meeee..." They heard a little louder as Nemoto crawled to a crack and poked his eye through.

When he saw the other side though, he gasped and froze at the sight that was in front of him.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT—!" He was cut off when you threw your arms forward.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You yelled as you blasted the wall in front of you.

There was a bright explosion as everyone jumped away and through the wall and in the center of your blast, Midoriya jumped through the wall and came on between the two as he and you have finally joined the battle.

"What a tragic life, huh, Lemillion? If only you hadn't gotten involved with Eri...With me..." Chisaki spoke up as his next words shocked all of you except your father, Eri, and himself. "You would not have lost your quirk forever. You'd still be able to pursue your dreams." He said as you and Midoriya were shocked.

"Lost...Forever...!?" Midoriya thought as Chisaki crouched down and grabbed the box of quirk erasing bullets before glaring at you all.

"And despite losing it, because you insist on dragging this out..." Chisaki said as he placed all his hands on the ground and activated his quirk. "You've gotten all your friends mixed into this, only for them all to die." He said as spikes shot towards them.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" You yelled as your power surged and exploded as you forced yourself to transform and your energy shattered all the spikes that were created as you glared at him in fury.

"You're going to regret everything you've done today, Chisaki." You said to him as your body was quivering from the overuse of your quirk.

"Futile efforts...Enough playing around. You waste too much time." Jiren said as you punched his arm to try and loosen his grip.

"What the hell are you talking about--AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" You let out a horrifying scream as pink energy surged all over your body and your eyes went white.

"Y/N-KUN!!!!!" Midoriya yelled.

"Stop! Please stop!!!" Eri cried as she felt guilt and sadness blanket her and ache her heart as your body went limp and sparks of pink energy flew off you.

Suddenly, light laughter could be heard which turned into insane laughter that came out of your mouth.

"Onii-chan?" She looked at you before your eyes suddenly opened and shined pink as you grinned at her.

"Wrong." You said before your energy surged and blew everyone back a few feet.

Ryu slid back and glared at you as your body suddenly restored itself and you walked over towards Chisaki and the other villains.

"Well, I guess playtime was cut short. I wanted to see how it turned out, but you're a real buzzkill, you know that?" You said to Jiren before turning back towards the heroes.

"Y/N-kun!? Why are you with them?! What's going on!?" Uraraka asked in shock.

"It's not Y/N..." 21 said while gritting her teeth.

"No...That energy...That..." Ryu stared as he stared at you and your clothes suddenly began to distort and change colors before they changed completely and you stood there with a grin. "That is Buu controlling Y/N's body." He said as you cracked your neck and your eyes shined pink before returning to normal.

"Now then, shall we have some fun?" You asked with a smug face before looking at Eri. "Eri-chan, there's no need to be scared. You're Symbol of Hope is here. Hahahaha....Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!" You laughed as a purple aura engulfed your body and she was terrified at the face you were making.

Ryu stood in front of everyone as Midoriya got back to his feet and everyone was grasping the situation at hand.

"Damn it, how many times is he going to turn into a evil copy or become some weakling who is easily manipulated?" Ryu scoffed.

"What now? Onii-chan's power just suddenly skyrocketed when Buu suddenly took control." 21 said to Ryu.

"Dammit! How many times do I have to save this idiot!?" Ryu groaned as he increased his power.

"Clear the obstruction." Chisaki said as he referred to Ryu as you suddenly stepped forward.

"Say no more, boss man." You said as you aimed your palm at Ryu and a yellow energy sphere charged. "Actually, since you can repair the girl anyway..." You said as you suddenly aimed at Eri.

"YOU BASTARD!" Ryu jumped in front of her as you laughed and fired.

The beam collided with his arms as he shielded Eri behind her, but the strength behind your attack was more than he expected he was thrown back towards the others. As you moved forward towards her though, you looked up and saw the villains, Toga, Twice, and Mr.Compress, who were sent there by Shigaraki.

"What are you idiots doing up there?" You asked as everyone stared up at them.

"The League of Villains...!?" Ryukyu said in shock.

"HEY! BUU! WE'RE DONE WORKING FOR THAT GUY NOW! GRAB THE GIRL AND LETS GET OUT OF HERE! HURRY! MOVE SLOWER!" Twice yelled in contradiction as you raised a brow before shrugging.

"Alright, whatever. Let's go, Cell." You said as the two of you began to move towards Eri.

"URAVITY!!" Midoriya suddenly yelled as he dashed towards Eri. "I'M LEAVING NIGHTEYE TO YOU!!" He yelled as they looked back to see Nighteye on the floor, fatally wounded.

"Tch, meddling kid." You scoffed as you and Cell aimed at him as he gasped.

Just as you were going to fire however, spikes and pillars shot up around Eri and the pillars sent her flying in the air as you all turned to see Chisaki had used his quirk.

"CHISAKI!!!" Midoriya cried out in fury.

Suddenly, the ground below Chisaki began to rise up as he caught Eri and they began to move towards the surface as Jiren flew up to them and stood next to Chisaki as he held onto Eri.

"This is a complete mess...You worthless trash!" Chisaki said in frustration.

You were about to move, but a slight pain lingered in your head as you groaned.

"Ugh, I thought I had you under my control? Damn hero-wannabe--AGH!!!!" You yelled in pain as you dropped to your knees.

"You can't stop me..." Your voice echoed as Buu heard you.

"No...No...! NO!! NO!! NO!! NO!! AGHHHH!!!!!!" You yelled as yellow energy sparked off of you.

As Chisaki was scaling his way up towards the hole, a rock that had Lemillion's cape was suddenly falling pass them as he caught sight of it.

"Lemillion's cape...So it got blown up here...How sickening." He said as it fell pass them.

Suddenly without even realizing it, Eri reached out and grabbed onto the cape as Mirio's words suddenly rang through her head.

"A hero's cape is for bundling up a young girl who's in terrible pain!" Lemillion's words rang through her mind as something shocking happened.

Pain suddenly shot throughout Chisaki's body as he went into shock his body began to change and distort around his back as his grip around Eri loosened before going completely. Without him knowing, Eri had activated her quirk, a quirk that rewinds and Nemoto's body and Chisaki's had been separated as Eri fell towards the ground and remembered all the trouble and pain everyone had went through to try and save her, especially Mirio, Midoriya, Ryu, and yourself. New feelings had developed inside of her during the situation, and she readjusted her sight and looked to see Midoriya who had jumped up towards her to grab her as he was shocked by what she did as this was Eri's awakening, and desire to be free.

"ERI-CHAN!" A voice called.

Eri and Midoriya turned to see you. Pink sparks flew off your body as one of your eyes was green and the other was pink and you watched as he caught her, but Chisaki's hand tried to grab her.

"Y/N-KUN!?" Midoriya yelled in shock.

"GIVE HER BACK!!" Chisaki yelled in fury while trying to reach her.

"BANSHEE BLAST!!!!!!!" You screamed in pain as you fired small orbs from your finger tips at him.

Jiren suddenly appeared in front of Chisaki and jumped towards you as he deflected the attack and tackled you back towards the ground where there was a large crash below. Meanwhile, Chisaki created spider like spikes from the pillar he was on and sent them to stab and grab onto Eri, but a hand grabbed Midoriya's arm as he held onto Eri, and he saw it was Ryu.

"What the!?" Chisaki yelled as Ryu aimed his hand down towards the ground.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH!! FINAL SHINE ATTACK!!!!!!" His voice echoed as there was a bright green light.

From the surface, a violent shake occurred before a beam shot out from the hole and at the top of it, Ryu held onto the two of them before dispersing his beam and floated in the air with them.

"Damn...I used too much energy..." Ryu said as he was breathing somewhat heavily and went towards the ground.

As he landed, Midoriya put Eri down as he crouched over in pain.

"It feels like my body...is being pulled apart from the inside...!" Midoriya groaned.

"Here..." Ryu said as he aimed his palm at Midoriya and transferred some of his energy to him. "That should help with the pain and stamina for now." He said.

"Thank you, Ryu-kun." Midoriya thanked him.

"Hmph, thank me when this is all over." Ryu said before going to Eri and crouching down to her level. "Are you all right?" He asked before she suddenly hugged him tightly and wept as he held onto her.

As they were resting however, Ryu heard footsteps stop in front of him, and when he looked up, he was shocked to see the person in front of him.

"Whis?!" He said in shock before turning to look at the person next to him.

Next to Whis was a purple anthropomorphic cat with golden yellow eyes and large pointed ears. He dons black, blue, and gold Egyptian-looking attire with the same white and orange diamond decorations like Whis.

"Why are you here? Who is this pussy cat?" He asked him.

"Hey, you should watch that tongue of yours. I'll destroy you in a heartbeat." The cat shot at Ryu as he glared at him.

"Now, now, Beerus-sama, no need for arguing. We're just here to see what was so important. And important is what it is indeed, judging from the look of the area." Whis said about the destroyed area they were in.

"Well feel free to jump in at anytime. These guys are getting really annoying." Ryu said while dusting himself off.

"I'm afraid we cannot do such a thing, Ryu-san." Whis said to him.

"What?" Ryu asked in confusion before the ground suddenly shook and Whis and Beerus both suddenly floated away to watch from a nearby building.

"She's unable to control her power." A voice spoke as Ryu, Midoriya, and Eri all turned towards the ground that was rupturing. "By some chance, she was able to activate it, but...you don't know how to stop it, do you Eri!?" The voice yelled as spikes shot from the ground and towards them.

"HAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Ryu unleashed a huge blast and blew away the attack as the ground suddenly rose up and revealed the monster new monster that Chisaki had become after deconstructing and reconstructing himself and another one of the Eight expendables, Rikiya.

"Can you at least do something to help us out, Whis!?" Ryu yelled as he powered up.

"Do your best." Whis said as he continued to watch on.

"Tch, useless teacher." Ryu mumbled as he got into his fighting stance as he glared at Chisaki was inside the mouth of the beast he was apart of.

"With Eri's quirk she can rewind humans. Depending on how she uses it, she could probably revert a person to a monkey if she tried. If you continue to hold her like that, you'll disappear." He said as Ryu scoffed. "She can rewind anything she touches to nothingness. That quirk of hers is cursed. Return her to me. There's no way to stop her other than my disassembly!" He proclaimed as Ry stared at her.

"How ridiculous..." Ryu said as Chisaki glared at him and he placed a hand on top of Eri's head. "Her quirk is cursed? How can a quirk that can also be used to revert injuries or illnesses be called cursed?" He said as he picked her up and had her cling to his back. "I am Ryu Shiozaki, I am an elite warrior...!" He threw down his fist. "I am a prince...!" He stomped on the ground and made it crack as his power began to swirl around him. "I am no mere human with a quirk...!" He yelled as his veins began to bulge from his skin. "I am the reincarnation of long forgotten warrior race who once ruled over this world! I AM A SAIYAN! I WILL NEVER LOSE!!!!!" He yelled as his power exploded and shined. "I AM PRINCE RYU, AND I PROTECT THIS GIRL NO MATTER WHAT!!!" He yelled as he turned to Eri was stained with tears. "Eri, please, lend me your power in this battle." He said as he pushed himself even farther and red sparks suddenly began to fly off him. "I guess I owe you a thanks for teaching me this mother...Y/N...I can't let you find out I'm doing this stupid technique..." He groaned before turning towards Chisaki.

"What the? What's happening to him?" Chisaki wondered before a red aura exploded around Ryu in his trasformed state.

"Super kaio-ken..." He growled as his power soared beyond heights unimaginable. "Get out of here and help the others, Midoriya...My fists have a date with Chisaki's face...And they're about to get real intimate..." Ryu said as Midoriya got to his feet and began to make his way back to the others aid.

"Stay safe!" He yelled as he left and Ryu stared down Chisaki with Eri on his back.

"Para-normality." Chisaki said. "A never before seen, mysterious mutation that quickly spread among the peoples. According to one theory, it was an unknown virus that was spread throughout the world carried by mice. But there is no clear evidence that backs that theory. Just one of many lines of reasoning surrounding para-normality...Disease..." He explained as he clenched his fist. "Neither you nor Eri...understand the value of her power. By developing a quirk, you make leaps forward. Through extensive research, I have been able to extract Eri's power and successfully brought it to its pinnacle. And the result...is not merely the ability to rewind the body, no...but a flow that runs deeper. The flow that brought about our kind...The ability to rewind back to before the mutation happened. That is the power that lives within Eri." He said as he used his massive constructed arms to grasped the buildings around him. "The power to extinguish one's quirk factor, returning them to normalcy...!" He yelled as he lunged towards them. "The power to destroy this world, built on top of quirks, the power to destroy the way of things...THAT IS ERI!!!" Chisaki roared to them as his massive hands broke off the buildings he grabbed and shot towards Ryu as they revealed the innocent people inside who were clueless of what was happening. "SHE IS NOT A PRODUCT MADE FOR BRATS LIKE YOU WHO CAN'T APPRECIATE HER VALUE!!!!" He yelled.

"BIG BANG...!" Ryu yelled as sparks flew everywhere and Chisaki saw a bright light shine. "AAAAAATTTAAAAACK!!!!!!!" Ryu screamed as he fired a massive energy blast and it exploded against Chisaki's constructed hands, sending him flying in the air.

Ryu shot up towads Chisaki and could feel Eri's quirk working overtime on his body as she held on for life.

"Her power is continuing to grow...! She hasn't really learned to control her quirk, and now that she's using it, she's just going letting it run wild...! But that's what I need right now, because the stamina I lose using the kaio-ken..." Ryu grinned as he shot towards Chisaki at an even faster speed. "I'm regaining that through her...!" He thought in confidence. "That's good, Eri. Just keep doing what you're doing, and we can win...!" He said to reassure her as he sped towards Chisaki.

"I owe a great debt to Pop. All those fake, diseased heroes who have chased him into a corner...! If my plan proceeds accordingly and we are able to grow our numbers...Then restoration will be possible. Look forward to it, Pop..." Chisaki thought as his senses came back and he began to ready an attack while falling towards Ryu. "EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU IS MISSING THE BIG PICTURE!!" He yelled in fury as he deconstructed the made up body he was attached to and the rubble began to spiral around him. "WHAT I'M TRYING TO DESTROY IS THIS "WORLD!!" THE VERY STRUCTURE THAT MAKES IT SO!! AND INSTEAD YOU FAKE HEROES...IRRATIONALLY FIXATED ON THIS TINY NOTION OF JUSTICE THAT SITS IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES..." He trailed off as the rubble reconstructed around his arms and created two large arms. "STAY OUT OF MY WAY!!" He demanded.

"HYAAAAA!!!!!!" Ryu yelled as he flew pass his attack and behind him as Chisaki was shocked as Ryu turned back.

"You still don't understand the true powers that I hold...When you take damage you disassemble and reassemble to recover. There's a gap in your process, and with the super kaio-ken activated, I can abuse that gap all I want." He said as he charged two energy blasts in each of his hands. "Never underestimate a saiyan..." He said as he aimed his palms towards Chisaki and Chisaki covered himself by reconstructing the rubble as a shield. "FINAL FLASH!!!!!!!" Ryu yelled as he blasted a bright energy beam at him and Chisaki was flying towards the ground as he shielded himself. "I'LL MAKE SURE YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!!! IF I CAN'T SAVE THIS CHILD WHO IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME..." Ryu trailed off as he remembered his first meeting with Eri.

"Somebody...!! Somebody...! Please, somebody...!! No...!!"

Flashback Over

"THEN HOW CAN I CALL MYSELF THE STRONGEST WARRIOR IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!?!?!?" Ryu yelled in fury as he pushed his energy even higher than before. "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed in rage.

As the light shined bright in the sky, Midoriya made his way back to the hole where Uraraka had floated out of with Nighteye in her arms. As he saw her, he sprinted towards her as fast as he could.

"Uraraka-san!!" Midoriya yelled as he caught her attention.

"Deku-kun! Help!" She pleaded as she held Nighteye before they all felt the ground tremble from Ryu's power as she stared at him with worry as she had learned grave news from Nighteye. "Nighteye...Ryu-kun...is going to get killed...? Is that true?" She asked as Nighteye was conscious.

"That is the unchangeable future that I saw. But...This is...The light that opens up the future!!" He exclaimed as the three of them watched Ryu.

Ryu gritted his teeth as Chisaki's cover was ripped to shreds and he was burning up from the force and heat of Ryu's blast.

"Come on...! Just a little more...!" Ryu thought as the kaio-ken was finally taking its toll on his body. "JUST FALL ALREADY!!!!!!!" Ryu yelled as he gave his final push to the attack.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chisaki cried out in pain as he collided with the ground and there was a massive explosion of light that blew away everything around them.

After the light had dimmed down and the area became calm, the smoke cleared to reveal that Chisaki was on the ground as only the whites of his eyes were showing and he was motionless. Ryu was breathing heavily as he and Eri floated down towards the ground. Ryu began to walk towards Chisaki as he fell out of his super saiyan three state and went to super saiyan. The red aura around him dispersed as he was walking closer, and he held onto Eri as she continued to cling to his back.

"Don't worry...We've won, Eri...It's over-AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Ryu yelled as pain suddenly spread throughout his whole body and red sparks flew off his body and he collapsed face first on the ground. "AGHHH! Now that I've dropped down in power, my body can't handle Eri's rewind quirk, and the pain is shooting everywhere! It's unbearable!!!" He thought in pain as he cried out and sparks were flying everywhere.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Chisaki suddenly shot up from the ground screaming as he attempted one last attack and sent a huge hand to crush both Ryu and Eri, but the hand was suddenly deconstructed and began to disassemble along with the rest of its parts.

Eri's quirk had gone haywire and reversed not only Ryu, but also Chisaki as he and Rikiya were deconstructed and split back to normal. While both were unconscious, Uraraka and Midoriya both swooped in and cuffed Chisaki together as they held him on the ground.

Ryukyu had climbed out with others on her in exhaustion as everyone looked to see what was going on.

"What's the situation!?" She asked as Uraraka and Midoriya turned towards them in haste.

"Nighteye is right behind me, and we've called for an evacuation of the local citizens! And Chisaki has been defeated by Ryu!" She cried out.

"But...! Something's not right!" Midoriya yelled as the ground shook and everyone turned to see waves of energy pulsating off of Ryu's body.

"NO...! STOP! NO! HE'S GOING TO DIE! YOURS IS A CURSED EXISTENCE. STOOOOP!!!!!" Eri was crying out loudly as Ryu yelled in agony.

"Ryu used a crazy huge power to defeat him, so he's suddenly in immense pain!" Uraraka cried out in worry.

Suddenly, Aizawa who was being sat up by Tsu held his wound on his stomach as he began to open his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Ryu! I'm going to look at you!!" Aizawa groaned as he activated his quirk.

Suddenly, Ryu's energy waves and power dispersed and the air became normal as Eri's quirk shut off and as a result she was exhausted and collapsed. Ryu held out his arm while face down to catch her as he pulled her close to hold her safely, as the rescue operation was a success.

"Finally...I need a vacation..." Ryu groaned as he rolled over to his back and held Eri on his torso in exhaustion.

Sirens of ambulances, firetrucks, and police cars filled the area as everyone had finished the rest of the job by finding anyone who was injured or in need of help. They found Fat Gum and Kirishima who were both badly injured down in the basement, the police had also found the comatose leader of the Yakuza who Chisaki was trying to protect. First respondents filled the entire area as all the heroes who were injured were treated urgently and Ryu ,who was healed from Eri's quirk in the end, reluctantly gave her to the medics as she was exhausted and knocked out from the overuse of her quirk. After seeing her off in an ambulance, Ryu walked over and noticed Nighteye on a gurney as he stopped over near him and looked at him as Nighteye weakly opened his eye.

"...You look like shit." Ryu commented.

"Ryu..." He said weakly as Ryu listened. "I used my foresight before...all this...and I saw that you were destined to die..." Nighteye said.

"Well, you're shit out of luck if you thought I would be killed." Ryu retorted.

"Hehe...you're right..." He weakly chuckled as he stared at all the junior heroes like Midoriya, Uraraka, Tsu, Ryu, and 21 in amazement. "I have no clue what logic is behind it, but he...was able to wake my "wish", and make it reality." He thought. "You all really did...twist the future." He said weakly as Midoriya rushed to him.

"Nighteye! I forgot to tell you! All Might! He said "I'm still alive!" And that he's ashamed to look you in the eye...! But you have to see him again, no matter what! You need...to meet again! So...Hang in there!" Midoriya pleaded with Nighteye as he began to close his eyes.

"The battle to save one girl. A lot of people were injured, so it's hard to call this a situation we can be very pleased with, but...Midoriya." He said as he let out his final words and breath. "Thank you." Nighteye said as his eyes shut once more.

In another ambulance, your father was being treated for the wounds he suffered during his encounter with Jiren as 21 came towards him and he waved off the paramedic that was aiding him.

"Did you have any luck?" He asked as she sadly shook her head.

"Onii-chan's energy trace is completely gone...Along with Cell and that Jiren guy..." She said in a low tone.

"They must have slipped out during the chaos that was happening above..." He said as he lightly banged his head on the ambulance. "I'm sorry..." He muttered as tears dripped from his eyes and 21 began to tear up as well. "I'm so sorry, Ai...I couldn't...I couldn't...!" He clenched his fist as 21 latched onto him and began to cry as well as he held her and let his tears fall. "I couldn't protect our son like you wanted me to...!" He said in regret as your friends all gathered around the two to try and comfort them in anyway they could.

Ryu clenched his fist tightly as he turned to where Whis and Beerus were and watched as they flew away.

"Someone who possess an incredible power has appeared, and now he's sided with the villains. Not only that, but that idiot had to go and get brainwashed by Buu..."
