"If it's all right with you, let's just skip the warm up." You said to him.

"By all means, I just hope after that intense battle hasn't made your body fragile." He taunted as you as you got mad and powered up.

"Grrr...!!!! HYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" 

"Well, at least your stronger than the last time from the sports festival. Grr...! RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

You were surprised by his increase of power as it was completely even with yours.

"Show me your hidden power, Y/N! Show me what you discovered during our training from the training camp!" Ryu thought while glaring at you.

"Wow, Ryu, this might take longer than I thought." You said.

"YOU SEE!? THIS IS OUR FATE! OUR BATTLE! HAHAHAHA!!!!!!" He laughed as the two of you stood off.

As the two of you powered up, you stared each other down while everyone else watched in secrecy from behind a set of rocks. Ryu grinned at you before gritting his teeth and raising his voice as he dashed forward and tried to punch you in the head as you dodged. He began to throw a barrage of punches as you dodged in a rapid manner before he kneed you in the gut and elbowed your back, sending you down to the ground. As you got up, you looked up and jumped into the air before Ryu could drive his leg into you as he crashed into the ground. He growled as he flew up to you and you both floated around before he tried to knee you, but you blocked it with your own as sparks flew from the clash.

"What's this? I thought you said we were skipping the warm up?" He grinned at you as you grinned back.

"I guess I was wrong." You said before you both broke the clash.

As you flew back towards one another you caught each other's fist when trying to throw punches, and began to clash knees again as sparks of energy flew all over the place. After getting fed up with this, Ryu yelled as he head butted you and made you fly back. Not letting you get a chance to recover, he flew towards you and began to punch you over and over again in the stomach. After a few more strikes, you caught his fist before kneeing him in the stomach, then the chin, before kicking him hard into a mountain as he was stuck in it and glared at you.

"That's more like it...! RRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" He yelled as his energy broke the rock around him and he floated out of the mountain side he was stuck in as the two of you were face to face.

As you glared at one another your energies came out and began to flow against each other. You glared at him as he saw the fury in your eyes before grinning himself and the two of you yelled as more sparks flew and your energy exploded as you both broke out into a brawl. Throwing countless punches and kicks towards each other, everyone behind the rocks watched in suspense as they couldn't believe the fight you two were having as you both moved across the rocky area.

"I can't believe how strong they are..." Kirishima said.

"They're shattering mountains..." Mineta said while shaking.

"I hope they don't get too serious and get hurt..." Momo said in worry.

"HAAAAAA!" You both yelled as you two reeled your arms back and punched each other in the face.

You both grunted from the pain in your cheeks, but Ryu glared at you as he turned forward and began to punch you again and again in the stomach as his energy came out and put more force behind his punches. You yelled in pain as he kneed the back of your neck, then your stomach, and finally elbowed your neck again. After getting away, you two began to trade blows with one another again and you were on the offensive, forcing Ryu to block more than he wanted to. After backing away, you managed to get a good kick in his stomach and reeled your fist back for a punch, but he disappeared. You gasped as he reappeared behind you and grinned as you turned around and got blasted into a mountain as Ryu stared at the hole you flew through.

"Come on, Y/N. Show me your power! If not, you'll lose all respect as a warrior, and I'll tear you apart." Ryu thought while staring at the hole.

What came next surprised him as he saw a bright energy ball shine in the cavern you were in. You fired a beam of energy at him as he shot one back and your two attacks collided and began to struggle against one another. As you flew out while trying to push back his beam, the two of you used both your hands to increase the energy of your attacks as Ryu glared at you.

"You think you're going to win? You won't unless you unleash your power, you pathetic, low-class warrior!" He yelled at you as you were enraged.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" You yelled as your power increased.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Ryu screamed as he increased his power once more before there was a huge explosion and forced everyone who was watching to duck and cover.

As the smoke cleared, everyone looked up and saw Ryu walking towards a set of stones and reached in as he grabbed your arm and lifted you out of the rubble. He grinned as he threw you into the side of a set of rocks and you yelled in pain as you got stuck. You glared at him as he fired five energy rings and locked you in place with them before disappearing and reappearing in front of you.

"What's the matter? Not winning as easily as you thought?" He taunted you.

"I never said it would be easy..." You groaned as his grin widened.

"Hmph! You won't be winning at all." He said as he slapped you twice as you growled at him and he glared at you. "What clown!? Are you feeling angry!? Humiliated is that!?" He yelled as he kneed you in the gut. "Fool! You don't--! Know--! What humiliation--! Is--!" He yelled as he repeatedly punched you over and over.

"We have to stop them." Momo said as she got up, but was pulled back down by 21. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"They're hopped up on adrenaline and testosterone. They might accidentally blast you away!" She said while pulling her closer. "I'm WAY more worried about Onii-chan than you, but as someone who can stand at their level at strength, I'm telling you now, the only way this ends is a knockout. Now sit still." She demanded as Momo was in shock but bit her lip as she sat down and watched.

After repeatedly beating your body up, he finally stopped and pulled away as he glared at you.

"Don't worry, I will teach you it's bitter taste just as you have taught me. Me, a warrior elite! In my finger tips I hold the power to destroy entire countries, maybe even this whole planet! I am a warrior of royal blood, one of the last of my kind besides my brother and mother, and on my shoulders rest the glory of dying warrior family. Whole societies once trembled at the sound of our names, but you didn't, did you, Y/N? And at your hands, your common hands, my honor and my pride, the foundations upon which I had always stood began to crumble at my feet." He said as he remembered his first official loss to you back in the sports festival. "It was at your hands that I suffered my first great humiliation. Toppled by a piece of low-level trash!" He yelled as he remembered you blasting him away. "Imagine my added shame when it was you and not me who saved possibly everyone in this city by defeating Broly. You, who was the first to achieve not just the pinnacle, but the even greater and farther ascension of our quirk type. The first in so many years to take a place as one of the strongest, possibly the strongest super saiyans of legend. A place that I had been raised to believe was my royal birth right. And imagine teh disgrace I suffered when I was forced to give my power to someone of a low-class warrior such as yourself. You and your power succeeded where I, the prince of all warriors, had failed." He said while gritting his teeth at you and you glared back at him."Forget him...Forget him...! I NEED THIS!" He yelled in his head as he gave up on trying to pick your pride back up, and took this chance to take his place as number one. "It is time to take back what is mine! I will not live my life as your second! That time is over! Every breath you take is an assault to my honor. But no more, Y/N. By my hands you will be cut down inch by inch, just as you have cut down my pride!" He yelled while raising his hand up.

You gritted your teeth and grunted as you pulled on the restraints that bound you to the wall as they were coming loose and you raised your voice as your energy was coming out and it shocked Ryu.

"What?" He gasped.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" You yelled the restraints around your neck and ankles broke and the arm restraints pulled out two big rocks on your arms as you yelled and punched Ryu with your right hand, smashing him with the rock and doing the same with the left as he flew.

You caught up to him and began to punch him repeatedly in the stomach before kneeing him in the chin and sending him crashing into a mountain that had a cavern inside. As you chased after him, you landed inside the cave and looked around as Ryu was out of sight.

"Focus! I know you're in here, Ryu. I'll sense where you're hiding." You thought before you heard a rock fall behind you and gasped as a huge ball of energy was fired at you.

You stopped it with your hands and pushed it out the hole as Ryu spoke.

"I'm here, fool!" He yelled as he appeared behind you and tangled your arms above your head as he restrained you.

He chuckled as you tried to get out of his hold and he flew up towards a stalagmite. You forced enough energy to stop and released it as the cave lit up and you turned towards him as you and Ryu aimed your palms at each other and charged big attacks.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!" You screamed eachoed all the way outside as there was a massive explosion and light beamed into the sky as everyone watched in shock.

From the light, you flew up and glared at Ryu as he came up to and glared back at you as the light disappeared and there was a massive crater under you. As the two of you flew towards each other, there was a loud boom as you both clashed and blocked each others attacks. Ryu punched you across the face hard and sent you flying as you stopped and punched him back in the face as you both powered up even higher and high winds blew through the area. With each blow you two traded, mountains and boulders were blown away, and high winds kicked dust up into the air as sparks flew.

"FINAL FLASH! GAHHH!!!" He yelled as he fired a quickly charged attack at you and it pushed you all the way to the ground, but you managed to escape as there was another huge explosion.

You appeared across from him as he glared at you.

"You've become quite the escape artist." He taunted you.

"Maybe you just need some better finishing moves." You shot back.

"I doubt that." He said as he powered up and flew towards the ground and you did the same as you both landed and began panting from the fighting you were doing.

"I'm amazed, Ryu. After all this intense training that I've been doing over the course of time before the test, we're still completely even. I guess this whole time you've been pushing yourself even harder than I have." You said in surprise of his strength.

"That may be true. I pushed myself to the edge of my limits and beyond, but you've been born with a natural far beyond my own. No amount of training could have closed the gap between us. I realize that now. It was made painfully obvious to me back when we discovered our super saiyan 2 level." He said as you both began to remember the training camp.

Flashback, The Night You and Ryu Showed Everyone Your Ascended Forms

It was night time in the camp, and everyone was off having dinner as you and Ryu snuck off to do more training.

"Are you sure you found a proper form already? How do you know it won't slow us down?" Ryu asked as you stood in front of him, ready to show off your power.

"I'm telling you, this is the one. The level passed a super saiyan, but not that bulky muscle form. Watch." You said as you got ready.

You began to grunt and your energy exploded out of you as red sparks filled the woods you were in. Ryu watched and was slightly surprised at the climb in energy you were having, but your body was barely changing. After a few more minutes...

"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" You yelled as you achieved the more efficient form of an ascended super saiyan.

"This is it?" He asked.

"Yep. Took the whole day for my to try and regulate my power, but I got it. I'm sure you can too." You said while admiring yourself and your new form.

What shocked Ryu was that he felt no cap on your power, that there was no end. He gritted his teeth as he swore to reach an even higher level than you.

Flashback Over

"Imagine my shock. To see the undeniable proof. To discover that no matter how hard I tried, I would never be able to catch you. A warrior prince forever living in the shadow of a low-leveled clown!" He shouted at you as you stared at him.

"Ryu, why are we fighting? What's the point of all this? Did you do this just to see this power? I'm telling you, this is all I've got!" You yelled.

"LIAR! YOU WILL NOT MAKE A FOOL OF ME! UNLEASH YOUR POWER RIGHT NOW, OR I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING!" He yelled at you as you sighed and looked at him.

"....Fine, you want it? You got it." You said as he felt a huge explosion of power come off your body. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You yelled loudly as your power was rising and you began to transform again.

Your hair was growing even longer as the entire area you were in began to shake violently.

"H-Hey! Hang on, everyone!" Kirishima yelled as Sero shot tape around everyone to keep everyone together.

Ryu was wide-eyed as he felt the endless power pour out of you and light was emitting off your body.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" You yelled as your power spiked and stopped as there was a bright light and you transformed once again.

(Ignore the jellybeans and weird area, ohh, and the halo. You're alive.)

Ryu, along with everyone else was shocked from the transformation you had undergone and your power toppled over Ryu's as he was shocked.

"Amazing, how do you do it, Y/N?" He thought in wonder as sparks flew off your body and you glared at him. "You've always been like this...Ever since the first day I met you, always ready to meet the next challenge, even if it's bigger than you are." He though as he remembered your old sparring days with him. "It was the same during the USJ attack you were in. I watched the footage and saw that you had improved so much that it made Buu look like he was standing still. Your power had increased so dramatically since the last time we fought, that I thought you had done it. I thought...I had lost my chance at beating you. It tore me apart. How could a low-class fighter accomplish something so easily, where I had struggled my whole life to achieve?" He thought while remembering you driving Buu back during the USJ attack. "And after so long, it had finally happened! We had found the level beyond that of the legendary warrior! A super saiyan 2 had emerged! And somehow...I had become this pompous witness." He gritted his teeth as he remembered you showing him your new form. "Then, at last, it happened. I, too, transformed. After living every moment of every day for the singular purpose of surpassing you, I finally ascended to a super saiyan 2 myself. The prince had reclaimed his throne and fulfilled an even greater portion of his destiny!" He yelled in his mind as he remembered transforming in the provisional test and showing off his power. "But no matter how strong I became, your power still exceeded mine...At first, I thought it was your loved ones, and it was your instinct to protect them that spurred you on, and pushed you beyond your limits. But then, I found myself with someone I care about...someone I l-...loved...and my power...didn't increase at all..." He thought while imagining Hatsume. "I used to fight for the sheer pleasure of it. For the thrill of battle. Oh, I had the strength unmeasurable. I spared no one. And yet...You showed mercy to everyone...Even your fiercest enemies...Even me...! Yet you never fought to injure someone....nor for revenge. Only to test your limits, and to push yourself beyond them. To become the strongest you could possibly be!" He thought while looking at your new form. "How can a warrior fight like that, and at the same time be so gentle he wouldn't hurt a fly? Oh, it makes me angry just thinking about it! But...Perhaps it is my anger that had made me blind to the truth for so long...I see it now. This day has made it all too clear..." He thought as he grinned and pulled out your crumpled results and stared at you as lightning struck all around you. "You're better than me, Y/N...You are the best..." He said in his mind.

"KAAAA....MEEEE....HAAAA....MEEEE....!"

"NOT GOOD!" Kirishima yelled.

"Ryu! Get out of there!" 21 yelled as he protected the paper in his fist and closed his eyes with a smile.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

(No you didn't blast him off the planet...)

There was a massive explosion of light and Ryu was completely blown away by your attack. Everyone held onto each other to prevent themselves from being blown back, and after it was done, Ryu emerged from the smoke in his normal state as you were shocked.

"H-He didn't dodge...?" You thought in shock and horror.

Ryu chuckled as he collapsed on the ground unconscious and you flew towards him.

"RYU!" You screamed as you caught him and everyone ran to you.

"Is he all right!?" 21 yelled.

"I don't know! Ryu! Wake up! Ryu!" You yelled as Todoroki came over and checked his pulse.

"He's fine...Just unconscious..." He said in surprise as he thought he would most likely die from that attack.

You looked and saw something in his hand and saw the paper ball in his palm. You took it and unwrapped it as you gasped at what it was.

It was your test results, and on it, you saw a score of 100 and 'We're sorry about this, the box that was suppose to show your name malfunctioned, so we hope this helps clear things up. You passed the provisional license test. Congratulations, Y/N L/N,' written on it. You teared up and crushed the paper in your hand and looked at Ryu who had a peaceful look on his face.

"You were only trying to help me..." You muttered before wiping your tears and picked him up. "Come on, best buddy. There's some muffins in the fridge back home." You said as you turned back to normal and everyone smiled to see you were back to your cheerful self.

You all walked back together and your girlfriends all clung to you as the boys sighed in relief that the fighting was over. As you walked home, you looked up at the sky and saw stars flying across the the night sky. You smiled as Momo leaned her head on your shoulder.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you, too." You said as you shared a kiss and looked at the sky. "Ryu..."

Back At The Dorms

You were currently tied up by an angry Aizawa as Ryu was knocked out on the couch and he was glaring daggers at you.

"First I had to deal with Midoriya and Bakugo for fighting...Now you two...! You'll be put on punishment just as they have been!" He scolded you as you winced and he tightened the wraps around your body. "Who hit first?" He demanded to know as everyone was staring at you from the balcony of the other level. 

"W-We both sort of hit at the same time..." You admitted as you remembered punching each other in the face.

"Four days of house arrest for the both of you! During that time, you must clean all the common areas in the dorm, morning and night! Plus, you have to turn in a written apology! For your injuries, if the pain gets worse or doesn't go away, go to the infirmary! But don't rely on the old lady's quirk! Injuries you get on your own should be healed that way! That's all! Go to sleep!" He scolded you as you looked in downcast.

"Yes, sir..." You muttered as you stared at Ryu who was still unconscious. "Damn it, Ryu..."
