The music started and I could feel myself getting way to excited. But it improved my performance so, it's a win-win really. I had done everything we had rehearsed since I left. Well except for the parts that I couldn't do without Marcus. I Skated over to Marcus who, on cue, picked me up, and threw me into the air, in a spiral, and then caught me again. I nodded and he and I pushed off, doing a Tripple Jump simultaneously. Soon it was time for the grand finale. Marcus grabbed my hands, as I did the same to his, and we did a partner spin, into a Death spiral. And then quickly pulling me back up just as the song was about to end. We then struck our poses and looked to the crowd. Mom, Kattie and Hanna were cheering and clapping and shouting. I laughed.

"Yup, we still got it, FireFlake." I announced. Marcus nodded

"You can say that again" Marcus announced, skating over to the door. I followed. We were given a standing ovation. I bowed.

"Thank you, thank you, it was nothing." I announced.

"Still the biggest show off I've ever met" Hanna announced, giving me a huge hug. I stuck my tongue out at her.

"I wouldn't consider it so much showing off. I think it's more of me being 100% fully aware of my natural abilities and raw talents." I announced.

"Way to be modest" Hanna replied.

"You act as if it's not true" I stated, putting a fake offended tone in my voice. I turned to my magic companions. "I swear, you'd never be able to tell we were best friends" I laughed to them.

"I'll say!" Hermione exclaimed. I shrugged.

"But I gotta love her, she's a wreck without me" Hanna commented, jumping on my back.

"I'd be lying if I denied that." I announced, spinning Hanna around. Hanna cackled like a maniac, and I finally dropped her when I was good and dizzy.

"I don't understand how you do that, on your skates!" Hanna exclaimed. I shrugged.

"The balance of an acrobat helps" I stated. Hanna nodded.

"Truth, how many years were you a gymnast again?" Hanna asked. I laughed.

"9 years" I replied, cartwheeling and landing perfectly on my skates.

"9?! I thought you said 3 years!" Hanna exclaimed. I laughed.

"You dare underestimate Corrine Snaproot?! I have more capability then you realize." I commented, and looked to Draco. "I think I pulled it off better" I announced. Draco snorted.

"You are gravely mistaken, friend" he replied. "I think I pulled that one off better." I laughed.

"You wish, Malfoy" I replied. I looked to everyone. "So, who wants to come to my place?" I asked. Hanna jumped in the air.

"Alright! Let's go to Corrine's" Hanna shouted. I unlaced my skates and replaced my shoes. I slung my skates over shoulder and looked to my mom. I handed her the 280$ I had remaining.

"Don't worry, I only spent 20" I told my mom, and then lead all my friends out of the rink. The entire time I was laughing with my friends as I made my way back home. When I walked in the door, I saw Asher struggling to stand up. "Asher! You're alive!" I shouted and hugged my little brother, who was doing his best to make it around on one leg.

"Ow! Ow! Watch it! I may be alive, but I'm still a cripple" Asher commented. I didn't care. I hugged the crap outa him. "Come on, Core, leave me alone, I'm fine" Asher announced.

"I know. I'm just glad your ok." I stated. I then hit him in the back of the head. "Don't ever let your friends drive you in a car again, Doofus" I stated, pointing sternly at him. Asher rubbed the back of his head.

"Sorry, Core. I promise I won't do it again." Asher apologized. I nodded and ruffled his hair.

"Feel better little brother" I announced, patting his head, then helped him to the couch. Everyone stared at me. "What? He's my brother. He may be stupid but I gotta care about him." I announced.

"That's flipping adorable, Corrine." Hanna cooed. I blushed.

"Uh, my wii is in the den. I'll grab snacks and meet you guys in there." I stated, gesturing to a small opening opposite of the kitchen. I watched as Hanna and Marcus walked to the den without hesitation, and every one else looked around, with wide eyes. Things were different for them, I had to keep in mind. Hermione looked at me confused. "Don't worry, this is just the muggle setting, for when friends come over, believe me, it's a lot more hectic once we switch to magic." I stated and walked into the kitchen. I pulled out my wand and waved to the cupboards to get some muggle usual's like fruit roll ups, gushers, fruit by the foot, gold fish, and my favorites, Nacho cheese Doritos. Meanwhile I searched for some witch and wizard usual's like chocolate frogs and every single flavor jelly beans. Then I waved my wand and everything was neatly stacked on a tray. I found my dad secret stash of cool aid (which is supposed to be for Asher and Kattie, but dad stashes a few away when we buy more occasionally) and Pepsi and stacked those neatly on a second tray. "Hey, Hanna! I could use your help!" I shouted. Hanna came running in and grabbed the cool aid and Pepsi. Together we filled into the den. I laughed at all my magic friends reactions. They marveled at the flatscreen t.v., the wii, the X-box, the Kinect, the computers, the PS3, the IPads, and IPods. Meanwhile, Marcus was doing his best to figure out which input the wii was on.

"Corrine" Marcus whined.

"I got it" I announced setting the snacks down on the back counter then rushing to the t.v. to change the input. The wii screen came on and I got out the remotes. "What do you want to play? Mario, Just dance, Wii sports, legand of Zelda, Crash bandicoot, Finding Nemo?" I asked. Hanna looked around at all the games.

"I'm thinking Mario" she replied. I nodded.

"Yes but which one?" I asked.

"Super Mario Brothers Wii. Duh" Hanna replied. I tossed her and Marcus a remote.

"I call P1" I stated quickly.

"P3!" Hanna laughed.

"Vhy do I always have to be Luigi?" Marcus asked. I laughed, and slipped the game into the wii slot.

"Because, nobody likes Luigi. He's just the third wheel to Princess Peach and Mario. Luigi needs to get in a relationship with Princess Daisy." I stated. My witch and wizard friends were so confused.

"Vhat about Toad? If Luigi is a third wheel, vat does that make Toad?" Marcus asked.

"Toad has Toadette, Luigi needs a life" Hanna announced. I laughed.

"Face it, Marcus, no one likes Luigi" I stated. Marcus got completely defensive.

"Luigi is just as appreciated as his plumber brother, Mario is, any day, you girls are just to blind to see that" Marcus announced. Hanna and I burst into laughter.

"Ok, Marcus, How many games does Luigi have his name in the title of?" I asked trying to prove my point.

"One..." Marcus stated awkwardly.

"That's right, Luigi's Mansion." Hanna commented.

"Exactly. Now Marcus, quit being a cry baby and play the game" I laughed, pressing the A button. I jumped on a cushion between Marcus and Hanna, and soon everyone settled themselves into the massive couch, wanting to see exactly what we were talking about. I clicked a level and the commotion began.

"Watch the Gummba, Mario" Hanna told me, as soon as the game started.

"Roger, Toad, you watch out for Yoshi." I stated.

"And Luigi," Hanna started.

"Yeah?" Marcus asked.

"Stay outa the way" me and Hanna said at the exact same time. We both laughed and then focused again.

"I call Yoshi Classic!" I shouted, seeing that Hanna had found a question mark brick containing the Yoshi's eggs, that soon burst into full size Yoshi's. I hopped on the back of the green Yoshi and ran ahead to get as many fruits as I could get Yoshi to swallow. Hanna hit my hand.

"You took all the Yoshi fruits!" Hanna exclaimed. I laughed.

"All is fair in love and Super Mario Bros, Hanna" I stated. Soon the level was over and I was the only one that made it to the end of the level with my Yoshi.

"Skater by day, Gamer girl by night. Is there anything you can't do?" Hanna asked. I placed my hand on my chin.

"I've never been able to do a full Triple flip or a cork screw on the trampoline." I commented. Hanna looked at me in disbelief.

"That's a lie. You can do those just fine, I've seen you." Hanna replied.

"I can't land them, you know that" I announced nudging her with my elbow. Hanna crossed her arms.

"I've seen you land it once." Hanna announced.

"Once. And that was the time I sprained my ankle, by the way" I reminded her.

"Nuance" Hanna stated. I shook my head.

"Hogwash" I stated teasingly.

"Pin head" Hanna shot back.

"Bubble brain"

"Cow pie"

"Dirty trash"

"Snot rag"

"Ding dong"

"Door bell"
I stopped for a second. Then snorted.

"Door bell?" I laughed.

"You said Ding Dong, I said Door bell" Hanna replied. Then we both burst out in laughter. Marcus was drinking a Pepsi at this time, and it came out of his nose it was so funny! Us three were in hysterics for at least 5 minutes. Me and Hanna were laughing because Marcus's Pepsi came out of his nose, and Marcus was laughing at the fact that we were laughing. Finally we all calmed down and I put an arm around each of my muggle friends.

"Where would I be without you two." I asked. Hanna shrugged.

"Probably Dead" Hanna teased. I nodded.

"That I can't deny" I stated. Marcus looked at the two of us then to his watch.

"Sorry girls, I gotta go, This man has an interview for a job" Marcus announced pointing to himself with both his thumbs. Me and Hanna raised a brow.

"Frenchlish FireFlake, with a job interview? I don't buy it." Hanna stated.

"Ha ha, we'll see who's laughing when you don't see me at the rink because I'm working" Marcus announced, standing up. Me and Hanna stood up too. Marcus gave me a hug.

"Good luck. You'll knock 'em dead, FireFlake" I stated, then pushed away from him.

"Ado, French fries" Marcus announced, kissing my hand. I laughed. Marcus is a charmer.

"Laters FireFlake, don't fail!" Hanna shouted at him, as he walked out of the den.

"No promises, nobody's perfect... Besides maybe French fries" Marcus shouted back, and then shut the front door behind him. Hanna looked at me.

"Hear that, French fries? FireFlake thinks you're perfect" Hanna stated.

"Oh please, you and I both know he's just being nice, it part of French culture to complement women, we've been over this." I stated sitting down again.

"Yeah, but the only girl he ever complements is you" Hanna replied. I shook my head.

"You're delusional, Hanna" I stated.

"We'll see who's delusional and who's got the hots for you," Hanna replied, standing up, "I gotta go too, moms probably home... I'll talk to you later, Corrine, laters." Hanna finished walking out of the room. I raised my brow.

"He's French, Hanna, Nothing more to it!" I shouted at her.

"We'll see!" Hanna shouted back, before closing the front door behind her. I looked to my magic companions. Each of them looking at a device, except Draco. Draco's grey eyes met my gaze.

"Draco,"

"Save it, Snaproot." Draco spat, storming into the living room. I was confused. Was it something I said?
