And The Truth Comes Out
Draco's P.O.V
It was so nice to have Corrine back in my arms. I feel bad for lying to Corrine about being Jealous of Ben. Corrine is mine. And I don't want anyone else to get that kind of affection from Corrine other then me. Ben is family, and I get that. But it passed family levels when he spent 60 gallons on her favorite candy. How do you even find the time to order 60 gallons worth of sugar quills anyway? And why was Corrine so over joyed when she got them? These thoughts lingered in my mind for a bit. I glanced to Corrine. She was petting that little dragon of hers, and nuzzling it. I find it adorable the way she treats tiny things. Corrine is not only good with Toby, but she's good with animals too. Corrine laughed and slipped the dragon carefully into her pocket again. Then she looked to me and smiled.
"I'm going to go show Hagraid to Bimbo. Maybe he'll know what to feed him. Bye, see you in a bit." Corrine announced, and got up from the table. I nodded, although it killed me on the inside, to part with her. I watched her race off towards the doors to the grand hall, then stop to look at me, and then smile and walk off. I sat there a moment to collect my thoughts. But all attempts are in vain when you have a person tapping on your shoulder. It was Pansy.
"Hey Drakie." Pansy announced. I groaned.
"Can I help you, Pansy?" I asked, quite irritated.
"Yes in fact. I just received a little box. It's from this one girl who told me to tell you that "Enny wanted you to eat it" what ever that means. Honestly I think you should just toss it." Pansy announced, handing me a small box.
"Anyway, I was wondering if you would come with me to-"
"Thanks for the box Pansy, but I'm actually not feeling so well. I'll see you later." I announced, standing up, and opening the box. Inside was a bread like item, glazed over with some sweet smelling substance. It had a note on the side.
Draco,
Back at home we have these things all the time. Muggles call them Donuts. You should try it. Yours truly,
Corrine Marie Snaproot/Malfoy.
(P. S. Can you tell I've been practicing my signature?)
I smiled. Corrine Marie Malfoy looked much better out of the two in my opinion. And yes it was still very easy to see that she had to work on her signature. But it's the thought that counts really. I looked at the Donut and shrugged. It was very sweet and soft. In seconds I devoured it. I'll have to thank Corrine for that delicious sweet later. Then I was stunned and dragged to an empty classroom, then tied to a chair.
"Now that I have your attention," started a very intimidating voice. "Did you or did you not give Corrine something to make you take her back."
Like I would tell her what I-
"I did." I replied uncontrollably. Then I closed my mouth. What the heck?
"I knew it." Announced the voice. The person came into the light. It was Linda. And she had Ben behind her, in shock.
"What the bloody hell, Malfoy!" Ben shouted. "Why would you do that?!"
"I was afraid she wouldn't take me back without a little help, so I had Goyle give her some punch with some emotional prone potion. Then I drank a small portion of crying potion before I talked to her." I blurted out. Ben looked at me in awe.
"Is there anything else we need to know, Malfoy?!" Ben asked.
"I think that you two are way to overprotective of Corrine." I announced. The two looked at me shocked.
"You sick Git." Ben announced. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you, Linda."
"It's okay. Corrine didn't believe me ether. It's going to be hard to tell her about this though." Linda announced.
"No. Please. It would break her heart." I stated.
"You mean like you did a couple of days ago?" Linda spat at me. I shut my mouth. "Now how are we going to tell Corrine?" Linda asked.
"We won't. He will." Ben announced, gesturing to me. I shook my head.
"Please. Don't make me." I announced, feeling pricks at the back of my eyes.
"You don't have a choice. Stupidify!" Linda announced. I instantly blacked out.
