Natsu's pov:
I walk away from Lucy but soon turn my head slightly and see her turning a corner. Did she really stick up for me? I look down for a few seconds but then shake the feeling away. "There's no way someone would stick up for me.. ever. I have to remember that she's Gajeel's sister" I start to walk once again and find myself at the second floor library. I grab the books from my bag and hand them to the librarian. She thanks me and I walk in deeper. I grab three books over U.S history and start to study the parts I need to remember even though I might not, but oh well.

Lucy's pov:
I walk into the library and walk to the second floor of the library and then spot a lock of scarlet hair. I run over to the red hair and tackle it "hello Erza! Miss me!?" I half yell and she looks genuinely confused at first, but snaps out of it "LUCY!" She yells and hugs me. I stand up and help her "How have you been Erza?" I say cheerfully and she smiles "very good, but there will be time for catching up when we find the others!" I nod as she drags me along.
We find the others and they all gasp "LUCY! YOUR HERE!" They all yell and tackle me. They asked a million questions at the same time as I laugh at their excitement. We were by a railing and I look over it to see Nastu on the first floor of the library. A huge smile spreads across my face already forgeting what happened just a few minutes ago. I look at my friends "Hey you guys? Wanna meet my neighbor!?" They all just shrug "It's a boy" they soon had huge smirks plastered on their faces and I took that as a yes. Damn all I had to say he was a boy?
I start to run down the stairs with them close behind. I run up to Natsu slamming into the table making him jump. "H-HEY! ARE YOU O-" I start to laugh cutting him off. "Oh hey Lucy." He says with no emotion. All of my friends walk up and look at me confused "Hey guys, this is my neighbor, Natsu Dragneel!" I say with a wide grin and I feel Lisanna take my wrist and snatch me away "STAY AWAY FROM OUR LUCY! GOT IT DRAGNEEL!?" She yelled and my eyes widen and I look at him to see him not phased by anything she's saying. "Hey, L-Lisanna! Cut it out he's my friend." I look at him "right Natsu?" His eyes widen and he seems to be phased by this. He hesitantly nods his head and Lisanna and everyone else was confused "wait what? Your friends with him!?" Levy yells and I nod they all turn to him and bow "we are all so sorry" Wendy says.
He shakes his head "no it's fine I'm used to it" he says in a monotone voice. I give him a sad look and walk up to him. I start to play with his hair. He was stiff at first but relaxes "what are you doing Lucy?" He asks and I laugh "playing with your hair. What else?" He sighs in defeat and shrugs "ok"
"Hey, Natsu?" "Hm?" I continue to mess with his hair "what's your first period?" He hands me a folded up piece of paper and I take it. "Hmmm... let's see" I look at the schedule "ok so it looks like we have 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th together. The only two classes we don't have together are 2nd and 8th." I fold the paper back up and hand it to him. "2nd and 8th period I have art and it seems that you have athletics both... sooo.. I'll come and stop by, and watch. Is that cool?" I ask slightly tilting my head to the side with a smile. He nods and continues reading.
1st period- English 3
I was still messing with his hair while talking to the girls for another 2 minuets. We hear the bell ring. "Oh! We should go! Come on Natsu!" I grab his wrist and drag him along. We walk up to the 4th floor where our class is and finally find the room. We sit down in the back and I get all hyped to learn. I am smiling like and idiot and I can't stay still.

Natsu's pov:
I look over to see Lucy bouncing around and can't stay still. I guess she loves school? I look down and space out thinking about why Lucy would even talk to me.
I heard the teacher walk in and look up. "Good morning class! We have a new student and I would like it if you would make her feel welcomed. Miss.Heartfilia?" He says and Lucy stands up "not to be rude but I think you have the wrong name. It used to be Heartfilia but now it's Redfox." He looked at his paper and then apologized "yes sorry, is your brother Gajeel by any chance?" He asked with a worried voice. She nodded and the teach was sweating bullets "don't worry Mr.Bowens, I'm not like my brother. Remember we aren't related by blood." Lucy sweat drops and I look up at her.
Hm... so they aren't blood related? What if.... what if she's not all that bad? WAIT! No! Not going to think like that... she's spent time with him so he could have rubbed off on her. Ya... ya...

(Time skip 2nd period)

I get to the boys locker room and change. I am respected by only the athlete boys on my team because I'm the best player and the captain for the basketball and football team. That's the only time I get respect. Since it's basketball season, we get in teams and play basketball. My team is winning at the moment.
We get a five minute break and I go to sit down and drink some water. I hear the gym doors open and glance to see who it was. I see Lucy walking up to me with Gatorade. "Here. I figured this will be better." She smiled and hands it to me. I hesitate to take it but do anyway.
Why is she being so nice? Is this what a friend is? No... best friend.. ya this is like best friend level I'm pretty sure? But wait... I DON'T EVEB KNOW HER!
I take a drink of the Gatorade and thank her. She walks away and goes to the top of the stands and sits down. She takes out a book and starts to read. I can't really see what the book is called though. It's too far away.
I hear the coach tell us to start playing again, I set the Gatorade down and stand up. I run over to my team and get ready to take the ball. (A/N: I don't know much about sports so just cope with me here) when I got the ball I start to dribble it and run off to my teams net. I take a shot and it goes in. I hear Lucy cheering for me "ya! Go Natsu!" Everyone looked at me with smirks. "What? It's not like that!? Plus I don't even know her for real." I say and they all laugh "just be careful. That's Gajeel's sister" i face palm "ya.. I know"

-After practice-

I went to the locker room and started to take a shower. After about 17 minuets later everyone else was gone. I get dressed and walk back out into the gym. I see Lucy sitting there on the bottom of the bleachers closer to the door. She looks at me and smiles "I waited for you" she said and I just stand there in front of her

"Why?"
