The next day he saw her with Ember. He never really examined how Ember really looked until then. She had strawberry colored hair, her lips were lush and looked like Cupid's bow, and she had green eyes which were flaked with blue. As soon as Ember left, Clark went to talk to Johanna.

"Hey, Johanna." Clark greeted.

Johanna turned to Clark and smiled. She stood on the tip of her toes then reached up to his head, ruffling his curly blonde hair. "Hey Clark!" Clark could tell that she was excited. Really excited and happy.

"So, you were talking to Ember?"

Johanna nodded, biting her lip. "She's super nice. And," she blushed a little, "she's also really pretty."

"I can see that," Clark replied. "I- I'm glad you like her." He lied, trying not to make it sound obvious.

"We haven't hung out for a few days," she said, frowning. "so, what do you say we do something tonight? It's Friday, we could stay out even later." She offered with a smile.

"What would we do?" He asked, running a hand through his hair.

"How about..." Johanna thought for a moment. "How about we go get some ice cream? We haven't done that in forever, and we used to do it all the time."

"I'm not-"

"Clark.." Johanna whined.

"I'm not sure-"

"Claark.."

"Fine." Clark huffed, crossing his arms.

"Yay!" She exclaimed. "You drive, I pay."
