"You... you won't remember anything if Ladybug stops you, right?" I ask Lady WiFi hesitantly, knowing that if she remembers anything after all of this it's gonna be a pretty awkward conversation and a half.

"Ladybug won't stop me," Lady WiFi insists, just as I expected, yet still much to my irritation. Does she really, truly think that? They've beaten her at least three times before, if I remember correctly.

"Theoretically, I mean," I clarify, fighting the urge to sigh. Her face turns from determination and anger to confusion and curiosity as she cocks her head to one side, an adorable mannerism of Alya when she's experiencing the same emotions.

"Well... theoretically, yes, but it won't happen. Why?"

"While we're alone and you won't remember this happening..." I glance around to be completely sure we're alone. Upon seeing nothing, I risk it.

"I like you. Even if you're Lady WiFi, I still like you. And I know you're probably not even interested in girls and-"

Lady WiFi cuts me off by connecting her lips with mine. My eyes widen in shock, then slowly flutter closed as I get used to the feeling of her soft, plump lips against mine.

My mind races a mile a minute, as does my heartbeat. I'm actually kissing Alya... well, Lady WiFi, but still technically Alya! And she initiated!

Wait a second...

I open my eyes, slowly pulling out of the kiss, despite my reluctance to do so. "This... isn't a trick, right? You actually like me?"

"No trick," Lady WiFi snickers. "Alya's been questioning herself for a while now, mostly because of you. Might as well make it simple for her."

I gape at her. "Seriously?!" She's been... questioning?! Because of me?! "What use would I have for lying about this?" Lady WiFi rolls her eyes. "I've already got you locked at the top of the Eiffel Tower, what are you supposed to do?"

"True... this still isn't a villainous move, though," I point out. "Who said absolutely everything I do has to be in the name of evil?" Lady WiFi scoffed. "I've got time to spare while we wait for the heroes, I can do what I like. Besides, this is part of the reason I got akumatised in the first place, so..."

"I figured," I sigh. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise you were so close by and I didn't know Nino was gonna say any of that." "I know you're not to blame there," Lady WiFi shrugged, inspecting her perfectly polished black nails in a bored manner. "It was Nino who I had a problem with. He deserved to be paused for trying to spill my secrets. I've always been loyal to him, what gives him the right to take advantage of that?"

"True, but back up... your secrets?" I ask, confused. Was I wrong about what Nino was trying to tell me? To be fair, it would make more sense that he was just covering for Alya, now that I think about it; was he trying to hint to Alya this whole time that she should ask me out? That explains all the looks and comments and-...

Oh...

"He went on break with you because of me, didn't he? I'm so, so sorry. If I'd have known, I-"

I'm cut off again by her lips. This time I kiss back immediately, wishing I could use my hands so I could wrap my arms around her and pull her close to me. She breaks the kiss with a smirk. "You talk too much."

"Mm. Maybe you should put me on mute again?" I suggest in a playful tone. Her smirk stretches as she kisses me again. Despite her cold exterior, her lips are warm and addictive.

Maybe Ladybug and Chat Noir could wait a few minutes?

It feels way too soon when Lady WiFi abruptly pulls away, clutching her head. A strange... shape... appears in front of her face. "Gah! I'm not distracted! I will defeat Ladybug and Chat Noir and I will get their Miraculous to you! I'm just having a little fun while I wait for them to walk into my trap!"

I immediately realise what's wrong; Hawkmoth is mad at her. Yeesh, is he homophobic or just a douche?

While she's distracted, however, I notice something behind her; a certain kitty. Chat Noir! That must mean Ladybug's here, too!

Oh god, I hope they didn't see Lady WiFi and me kissing or they'll never let me live it down...

And worse, they might mention it to Alya!

I think for a moment. Do they have a plan yet? Chat seems anxious, so it's either Ladybug went off without telling him the plan or there isn't one. Maybe I should try and work one out...

"Arya, go tell Chat to Cataclysm the tower and leave me to sort the rest out if there isn't a plan already!" I whisper. "What?!" I hear both Arya and Wayzz gasp. I nervously glance to Lady WiFi, but luckily she doesn't seem to have noticed, still conversing painfully with Hawkmoth. I can't help but feel bad for her.

"Just do it, trust me!" I whisper. "Wayzz, I might need you, what do I say?" "Shell on," I hear him inform me, a little quieter now, as I notice Arya fly through my bag and head down to Chat Noir. We're getting super lucky that we're not getting caught.

I see Arya and Chat Noir talking. He looks worried, but takes out his stick and speaks into it, likely informing Ladybug of the plan. Will they accept this? Or am I just getting in the way of their own plan?

"Cataclysm!"
