Mila Barnes came limping through the door of the compound three weeks later. Dean rushed forward, the question ready, but Mila just shaking her head, confirming what he already knew. She hadn't found Sarah. "I'm just here to grab some more supplies, I can't stay, not until I know she's safe," Mila said, brushing her brothers comforting hug away.

 Walking to her bunk, Mila did her best to shrug off the feeling of hopelessness that was descending down on her. She and Sarah had been best friends before they could speak, and they'd never really been apart from each other. Sarah had been there for Mila when her mother died, and they'd struggled through the death of both their fathers together. She wasn't going to let Sarah go through whatever this was alone. 

 As she threw more supplies into her bunk, she traced the letters carved into the metal of Sarah's Bunk. Sarah James Rogers. Mila remembered how much Sarah had hated her middle name, James. Steve had wanted to name one of his kids after his best friend, James Barnes (Bucky). Sarah had often said she wanted to change her middle name, but after all of the Avengers were wiped out, she'd decided to keep it. To remember not just her father's best friend, but her father as well. She ignored to writing on her bunk, Mila Rebecca Barnes. 

 Limping out of the bunk, a fresh bag of supplies ready, Mila headed for the exit. But Lily stopped her, Mila was about to push past the woman, when she noticed the look of panic in Lily's eyes.

 "What?"

"Mila, I need you to get the team together," Lily's voice shook slightly.

"No way, that's Sarah's job. And she's still missing."

"Mila, it's been three weeks, if she was going to resurface, she would have."

"No, Sarah wouldn't just leave," Mila insisted.

"We have a bigger problem. An Ultron problem, so get the team together." Lily let go of Mila's arm and walked away.

 A cold feeling of dread spread through Mila's chest. Ultron. Ultron had killed her father, and the parents of the rest of the Avengers. What chance did the new avengers stand?
