   I slowly open my eyes and as I looked around and saw all the cut and gashes on my body. I remembered what cause me to be here. 'OH MY GOD! WE WERE IN A CAR CRASH AND SERIOUSLY INJURED!' I started to panic as I thought of Gene and what happened to him. I slowly realized that he was in hospital bed next to mine.

  Ironically as I realized he was there he opened his eyes a little. Then I started a small conversation that lasted for minute or two when I heard his heart monitor drop to a long beep. The last thing I herd him say was

"Lilth you'll always be a dork. Even when I'm not here." and then he closed his eyes and quit breathing. I starting crying, no not crying, bawling. I'd just lost by best friend. The best friend I had science I was 4 and now he's gone.
