Without bothering to wear anything but Yibo’s shorts, I ran a hand on my hair and went barefoot to the door just as the pounding began once again. Whoooh!!! Xiao Zhan be natural…Still naked, he peppered my lips with his for three seconds, I’ve come to realized that I am a bit taller than him. “Wo Ai Ni…” He winked and took up his place behind the wooden door as I opened it. This guy, really!!!

I welcomed Zoey with the most charming smile I could assemble with my mouth. “Hey, morning.” I stepped out from my lent room in the building and closed the door, giving Yibo enough time to patch himself up.

She straightaway threw herself towards me and hungrily kissed me. Chocolate, she tasted like it but Yibo was more like every flavors of ice cream combined.

“Hi, Xiao Zhan.” I didn’t notice her but Lisa was with my girlfriend. They seemed close friends now. Oh, they were both his fans…birds with the same feather flocks together.

I cleared my throat slightly and returned her hug, not constricted as I usually do. “Uh…what are you two doing here?”

Before answering me, Zoey gave me a quick once-over, lingering a moment on my bare feet. “I invited Lisa to eat breakfast in your place this morning to redeem yourself from leaving us in the stadium and by not answering my calls. Can we go inside? Why are you not wearing any clothes but only shorts…?” She gazed at it. “Is that your new shorts?” How did she know about my personal things?

“You know all his things?” Lisa asked ruefully, trying to be polite.

“Of course, I am his girlfriend.” Zoey studied us gravely and laughed at our reaction. I’m dumbfounded, Lisa too. “You guys should see your faces. I don’t know anything about his clothes. But I know his sizes, okay?”

“What are we standing here for? I’m starving…” My best friends step sister hollered and made their way to the house with my lover. With a sharp intake of breath, I turned, expecting to witness a confrontation or what.

Yibo was gone.

I swallowed hard, looked quickly around, trying not to call any attention from my lady visitors that I was searching someone. Gone too, were the pillows, my clothes and Yibo’s and our undergarments.  Solitary the blanket I used last night was neatly folded in the sofa. The daybed and the center table were also in their right places. The heat of my heater, evidence in the air.

I felt Lisa watching me.

“I slept here last night.” I said with chuckles, hidden beneath it were nervous thoughts. What should I do if they see him?! Where was he?!

“I’ll put on my clothes so I can cook for you, girls.” I strode quickly to the empty bedroom. Yibo somehow didn’t leave any trace that might exposed him. Superstar or not, he was clever. He hid himself so well. I could not begin to guess where he was. Maybe he went to his concert venue or to the hotel where he was staying.

Wang Yibo, I don’t want you to go...

I still feel his hands on my skin, lips on mine and him in me…I smacked my cheeks with my palms and sported on a white woven sweater with red autumn leaves in its sleeves and black pants.

As soon as I entered the kitchen, Zoey and Lisa were seating on the stool that surrounded the island in the center of the kitchenette, chattering about something with their phones on their hands.

“I’ll cook bacon, sunny-side up and sandwiches with stir-fry vegetables.” I announced as I turned on the burner and placed the pan on it. I swirled a small butter, sprinkled an olive oil and tossed the bacon from the fridge of it. At the side, I cracked the eggs one by one. When it was done, I set them with asparagus and pepper. The sandwiches came second, I took a package of mixed fresh vegetables, they were wilted because I didn’t regularly eat here due to my eventful life in the university. They needed all the help they could get, but I didn’t do them much good by chopping them so finely, they were barely identifiable.

Yibo, where the hell are you?

I want to see him…I was so confused and worst of all, falling in love. Falling for an idol, a guy I knew nothing about. How crazy as that? About as crazy as I could get.

Stop. Stop. STOP!!!

“The sandwiches will be ready soon.” I engrossed myself back to my cooking.

I stirred the vegies viciously in the heated saucepan with the oil and dotted them with mayonnaise. “Here, babe.” I spread it to a toasted bread, I bent myself and offered the food to the girl across me.

She frowned at me. “Feed me, ahh~” She blushed, parting her tight lips. To my ears she sounded childish. I shook my head and fed her.

Lisa in the corner of my vision rolled her eyeballs in repulsion.

“I’m sad today, baby…” Zoey’s propped her head to her folded arms that were on the table.

“Todays the last day of Yibo’s concert…We wouldn’t see him again in person.” She sniffed, eyes turning watery.

I forgot about that!!! For three days…An actual fact the last day of his tour in the city I lived in. Will I see him after this? Maybe, maybe not. If he’ll accept our company’s offer then there will be a huge possibility that I’ll see him but what if he won’t? Can I move on from him?

“Don’t be negative, let’s just cross our fingers and pray he’ll add another two-day extension or more.” My voice was sharper than I’d intended.

The girls nodded in agreement.

“You’ve changed Zhan, in a way that I never expected. Are you Wang Yibo’s fanboy now? Since when?”

I.                       AM.                 NOT.                SURE.

“Lisa, eat your breakfast.” I told her off.

After they ate, Zoey received a call from her classmate that they’ll have to prepare their new LED banners to Yibo’s concert tonight and pack their gifts to him for his departure tomorrow.

She hurriedly stood up and bid farewell. “No need to drive me to the stadium later, I’ll ride with my friends. Promise me, you’ll be there.”

“I won’t miss it to the world.” I showed them out from the flat and viewed them pranced to the narrow path of newly plowed snow. I didn’t move from where I am until my gf’s car disappeared at the distance of two high banks of snow.

I beheld the whiteness of evergreens and skeletal trees everywhere. People at the nearby coffee shop was dashing to and fro with hot cocoa and other hot drinks. “Winter’s my favorite season…”

“Mine too.” Someone behind me embraced my stiffened body.

Whenever he did this, I became vulnerable and naïvely in love. But the fearful thing was, it never disturbed me.

“How did you do it?” My tone was coated with concern.

“I spent several cold minutes on the balcony of your room.” Poor thing.

“They could have seen you.”

“They didn’t.” He said with a cough.

What the hell?! Illness go away from him!!! “Are you okay?” I faced him and feel his body heat from his forehead that was covered by a baseball cap I owned. He was dressed with his clothes yesterday.

He shrugged, served as his answer.

“Oh god. You have a fever, Yibo…” I brought him inside the structure with our tangled hands. We were about to go back to my floor when he squeezed my palm.

“Zhan, you are burning.” Burning?! What burning?!

“Yibo, stop the sweet talk.” I poked his rib.

“No. I guess you have fever too.”
