"I'm going to go help him." Natsu turned to Lucy, "can you carry her?"

"Y-Yeah, no problem." She took Luna into her hands. She watched Lunas face as she slept. It looked pained. Lucy saw a tear flow out of her eye. She wiped it with her thumb and smiled sadly, "it's going to be ok."

"What are you going to do Natsu?" Cana said.

"I'm going to see if I can stop them." He climbed out the window to the roof, "keep the car steady!" He said. He was kneeling on the roof, trying to find the courage to stand up. He looked down and saw how fast they were really going, "why did I have to be brave?!"

He closed his eyes, "I can do this, I can do this." The car went over a rock causing Natsu to almost fall off the car, "I can't do this! I can't do this!"

"Sorry! I kinda ran over a rock." Cana said.

He stood back up and took a deep breath. He began running off the car and jumped. He was in mid air, screaming, as he was reaching for the car.

"Woo-hoo!" He said, a huge grin plastered on his face. He landed on the truck, injuring his ankle a bit. He centered himself on the truck and began burning a hole through it.

He saw the soldiers inside, not having a clue what was going on, "these guys really are dumb." He jumped inside and punched the first guy in the back knocking him out cold.

"Hey!" The soldier in the passenger seat yelled. He was going for his gun but Natsu was quicker. He kicked the soldier in the face breaking his goggles. The man in the driver seat swerved, "don't just sit there, get him!"

The man came back to his senses but was still a bit dizzy. He took out his gun firing a few shots at Natsu, but luckily he dodged them.

"He's right there, shoot him!"

He kept firing bullets until one of them hit. Natsu grabbed his arm as one of the bullets scathed him, "Damn."

The man smirked and pointed the gun at his head. Natsu's eyes widened in fear as his life flashed before his eyes.

He pulled the trigger.

But nothing went off.

Natsu eyes opened to see he was still alive. He stared back at the soldier and realized what happened.

The gun was empty.

Natsu smirked and used this time to his advantage. He grabbed the gun from the man and hit him in his temple, knocking him out.

The soldier driving groaned, "don't leave idiots to do a real man's job." He took out his gun and fired randomly at Natsu.

Natsu continued dodging the bullets, "just stay still!" The soldier yelled.

He fired until there were no bullets. Natsu smirked. He grabbed the soldier into a choke hold until he was unconscious. He let go of the wheel, "that was easy." He said, out of breath. The car began to turn on its own and crashed into a tree.

Lucy turned around, "Natsu!"

He lifted his head and felt something wet dripping from his head.

Blood.

"Damn..." he glanced down and saw the soldier was holding something in his hands.

A book.

Natsu stuffed it in his pocket, thinking this may give them a clue. He kicked the door down and looked outside to see the same trucks still chasing them. He wobbled out the car and positioned himself.

He started running, with the the help of his fire, making him run at incredible speed.

Lucy sighed in relief as she Natsu come out the car still in one piece.

The soldiers heard a bang on the roof of the car. A soldier took out his gun alarmed, "I'll go check it out." He opened the hatch and glanced on the roof only to see nothing.

"Huh?" He saw a shadow behind him and immediately turned only to be too late. Natsu grabbed him before he could fire his weapon and threw him off the car.

"What was that?" Another soldier yelled.

Natsu jumped to the hood and stared at the soldiers through the windshield before sticking his tongue out at them.

"You brat!" He began swerving the car to make Natsu fall off, but luckily for Natsu, he had a good grip.

"This is for hurting my friend." He lit his fist on fire and punched through the glass.

He picked up the soldier by his collar, "you will never Win!"

The man shook in fear as he stared into his onyx black eyes. All he saw was a rage and a fire, "please let me go. I was just doing orders!"

"It's still unforgivable what you did to my friend." He threw the man out the car and watched as he rolled down the hill, out of sight.

"Natsu come on! We're almost there." Gajeel said.

Natsu looked down to see no one was driving the car, "why isnt the car slowing down?" The car was swerving in all directions, losing control.

"Just jump!" Gajeel said.

"If I could I would!" He gripped onto the windshield wipers and glanced around for a miracle, "Dammit!"

"I'll catch you idiot! Just jump, the car is going out of control!"

Natsu looked ahead. He knew the car was going to crash at any moment, but it was too risky to jump. His back was against the wall.

"Come on Natsu!" Erza yelled.

His heart beat at this point was louder than his own thoughts. The road became more rough, causing Natsu to lose his balance.

"Natsu!" Lucy yelled.

He was hanging on the side mirror of the car, struggling to get back on the hood.

"I have to go help him-" Lucy said.

"No. He can do it." Erza said.

He climbed back to the top, holding his arm. He turned around at the cars behind him, "Oh shit!" He ducked from the bullets coming his way.

"Jump!" Juvia yelled.

He sighed. He had to do it sooner or later.

He adjusted his glasses and look at his target. He walked backwards to try to catch some speed. More shots could be heard from behind him.

He yelped in pain as another bullet scathed his leg. Lucy watched in horror as she saw the bullets one by one almost hit him.

She couldn't take it anymore. She can't see another one of her friends get hurt, "Jump Natsu!"

He ran full speed, leaping off the car.

"Slow down Cana!" Lucy said.

She lightly tapped the brake so Natsu could reach.

It felt like slow motion to him as he was in the air. The wind hitting his face and the sound of guns firing filled his ears.

He gripped the top of the car and sighed in relief, "I made it!" But his arm unfortunately failed him causing him to slip off the car.

He fell backwards. His eyes widening as he was free falling to the ground.

"I gotcha!" Natsu felt someone grab his hand.

He looked up at the mystery person, "Gajeel!" He smiled.

"I told you I would catch you."
