The next morning ,sonakshi was the first one to wake up , she opened her eyes and found herself laying on top of her dear husband ,who was protectively holding her so that she does not fall off. She lifted her head slightly and found the most adorable sight of her life,her dear husband was fast asleep with his mouth slightly open , his point fangs were pointing out of his mouth , she ever so lightly rubbed his fangs with her index finger ,causing him to slightly stir and then roll over such that she was below him and he was just on top of her ,with his whole weight on her . His face was hurried in her neck and his hands behind her on her waist . His hot breath was just adding to the fire inside her . She wrapped her hands around his torso and kissed his cheek as she whispered
"Good morning hubby"
He lazily opened his eyes and found himself laying in top of her ,he then raised his eyes to her beautiful face ,glowing in the morning sunlight
"Good morning angel"
Saying so he kissed her cheek and got up
"Hope I didn't crush you beautiful"
"Na you're lighter than I thought "
Saying so she giggled at his expressions . She got up and tied her messy hair in tow a tight bun
"I am going to make breakfast you come down after having a bath"
She was about to stand up when she was pulled back down
"Breakfast will be made by the servents . In the vampire marriage rituals ,you don't need to make anything on your first day"
"Oh ...but I really wanted to make something sweet "
"You can make that ,but I will help"
"Dev dad will also be there"
"So what we are legally married and plus he won't mind me helping out my wife in her daily chores "
"Fine .....dev I wanted to go back to the normal world and collect a few belongings that I had forgotten to bring with me "
"Sure after breakfast we will go together"
"Thank you"
"Why "
"For agreeing "
"Why won't I agree ?"
"I don't know "
Saying so she went inside the bathroom to have a shower
After a while she came out wearing a red anarkali suit . Dev was just let tongue tied after seeing her. She applied a light shade of red on her lips and then combed her hair.  Dev came and stood behind her and whispered
"Gorgeous"
And the he took his towel and clothes and went into the bathroom for a bath .
He came out and saw that sonakshi was busy setting the bed . He quickly combed his hair and helped her in setting the bed
"Dev it's okey . I will do it .. you go down for breakfast "
"I will help and then we will go down for breakfast together ."
Saying so he helped in folding the  blanket and then straightening the bed sheet. Soon they joined the rest at the table
"Dad ...we will be going to sonakshi's place for a while to bring her a few important​ things and then meet a few friends of hers "
"Okey beta but first have your breakfast "
All of them sat down for their breakfast . Jatin was he first one to dig in as eating and drinking is his first love. Very soon they left for her house .

On reaching the house Sonakshi was really happy ,after all she was seeing it after six months . Her eyes got teary as she stepped into her old house ,the house where her aunty used to live, the place where she was brutally killed by those crazy vampires ,the place where she grew up into a beautiful young girl. She slowly entered the house and looked around, picture were hung up in the wall which consisted of her and her mother ,her and her father and picture of all three of then together. Tears started dropping down for her eyes as she stared at those picture , dev saw the pictures and understood what she was thinking . He pulled her into a side hug
"They must be proud of you"
"They must hate me for not being able to save them"
"Sonakshi no....then you were just a few years old and look you have sought revenge ....plz don't cry"
Saying so he wiped her tears
"What things did you need "
"Oh yes"
She climbed up the stairs with dev closely behind her and entered a room , precisely hers. He looked around and saw many photos of her from her childhood to her youth all hung up in a collage . He smiled seeing one photo in which she was busy smiling while holding a cute puppy in her hands but frowned seeing the photo where she was kissing a boy on the cheeks . Out of jealousy he spoke
"Who is he "
"Who ....him ....he was my aunt's son, a brother for me,he had cancer and died leaving me and aunty alone"
"Oh ....I am sorry"
"It's okey"
Saying so she searched through her wardrobe and finally found a box and a diary . She took it out and kept it on the bed . Seeing the diary ,dev picked it up. It was an old diary with a few pages torn.
"It's my mom's diary ,she told me to read it once I turned 23 ...since I I'll be turning 23 in less than a week ,I thought of bringing it with me "
It suddenly struck him that within two days it was her birthday and he hadn't planned any surprise for her where as she was in he hope of getting a beautiful surprise from her hubby on her first bday with him. He note o lake the arrangements today itself once they get home.
Dev helped her carry the bags and the box downstairs to his car. Dev could you plz take a right turn from here to the toy shop .
"Yeah sure ....but why "
She didn't answer .
He stopped in front of a toy shop and she immiediatly got down . He followed her in but made sure to keep his fangs hidden . She purchased a small pink teddy and had it gift wrapped.
"Who is this for "
"My friend's daughter ,she loves teddies "
"Oh"
"Today is her bday na"
Sonakshi guided him towards a massive white building. Ambulances were in going and outgoing. He was hell confused as off why did they come here. She led the way towards the children's section and saw her friend ,who on seeing her hugged her
"Elina .. how is she now"
"Better...doctors say she may survive .. she really misses you"
She entered the room and there she lay ,a cute chubby two year old girl.
"Navya baby how are you " she asked as she picked her up in her arms . She opened the gift and squeezed when she saw the small pink teddy . She was busy playing with it
"She is navya, my friend elina's daughter ,she is suffering from cancer. Everyday ,she gets her chemotherapy done "
Dev without saying a word want toward the baby and picked her up in his arms , he giggled and played with her as she pulled his hair and pinched his nose .
"Sonakshi you never told me when did you marry"
"Yesterday"
"And you didn't invite me"
"Sorry"
"It's okey...by the way your hubby is soo handsome"
"I know ,he is a gem"
All of them filled and laughed and soon headed back home.
As soon as hey we're home , Sonakshi sat down in the bed . Dev offered her some water and then helped her in arranging the things in the cupboard.
He made her sleep and once he was sure that she was fast  asleep ,he picked up his phone and made the arrangements for her birthday bash.
