S1 E11: The HeartBeat and Heartbreak.
The students running towards the classroom, which is in the castle's dungeons. The air is hums with the faint sound of bubbling liquids and occasional burst of magic as students practice their crafts, creating a lively and dynamic environment. The aroma of dried herbs is spreading in the class. The class is wide and long every student sitting in pairs.
Isabella stepped in the room, her silver shiny hair cascading over her shoulders, a contrast to her mid night blue robes that seemed to shimmer slightly in the candlelight. Her eyes, sharp and observant, searching the room for an empty seat. She spotted one near the centre, next to a boy she recognized from the grand hall Phillip.
The spacious classroom features high, vaulted ceilings with intricately carved wooden beams and statues. Shelves line the walls, holding glass jars filled with magical ingredients and symbols of supernatural beings. Large windows with stained glass filters let in natural light, casting colorful patterns on the floor.
Each workstation is equipped with a cauldron, burners, glassware, and basic ingredients. Protective gloves and goggles ensure student safety. Dried herbs and flowers hang from the rafters, filling the room with a pleasant scent. Floating orbs of light illuminate the room, enhancing the magical atmosphere. Charts of mystical plants and minerals adorn the walls, showcasing their properties and uses in potions.
Phillip had already settled into his seat, his attention seemingly focused on the array of ingredients laid out before him. His fingers lightly tapped the wooden surface of the desk, a habit he had when deep in thought. He sensed someone approaching and looked up just as Isabella reached the desk. For a moment, their eyes met, and the world around them seemed to slow down. She feels a warmth spreading across her back, her dragon tattoo tingling slightly. It's as if the tattoo itself is aware of Phillip's presence.
Isabella start thinking "What is this feeling? I've never felt this kind of energy before... almost as if my own power is reacting to him."
Meantime, Phillip, sensing the subtle surge of her magic, has his own thoughts.
Phillip's internal thoughts"There's something about her... Something hidden, something powerful. And yet, I feel drawn to it, like a moth to flame."
Than, Felix stand and as he going to ask Isabella for sitting near him. Isabella asked to Phillip"Is this seat taken?", her voice smooth and steady, though there was a slight edge of curiosity as she looked at him.
Phillip felt his heart skip a beat. There was something about her presence that made everything else fade into the background, leaving only the two of them in sharp focus.
"No, it's free," he replied, his voice calm, though internally he could feel a strange fluttering in his chest. "You're welcome to sit."
Isabella smiled softly, a polite but warm gesture, and slid into the seat beside him.
Felix sit and watching Isabella, from a distance with a hint of possessiveness, his confidence masking a deeper, hidden feeling.
He is thinking "She belongs here with me, not with a vampire. And yet, why do I feel like she holds the key to something greater?"
As she arranged her things on the desk, she couldn't help but notice the way Phillip's gaze lingered on her for a fraction longer than usual, as if he were trying to figure her out.
Phillip thinking "I should stay away from her. She has no idea of the darkness I carry. But how can I? When I'm near her, I feel... alive. As if I'm a part of something bigger."
Suddenly, the presence of everyone get silent for Isabella. She saw the shadowy figure watching her across from the hall, lurking in the corner with an aura of menace. This time she isnt scared. She is going to ask it who are you?
Than suddenly, breez moves through the hall, catching Isabella's hair and brushing it toward Phillip and back table to Felix, filling the air with her scent. The breeze feels almost alive, swirling with an inexplicable warmth.
Isabella feels a faint thrill run through her, as if the very air is responding to her presence. The sensation is exhilarating and a little frightening, but she ignores it.
Professor teaching them potion but Isabell and Phillips lost in another world, Isabella's heart start beating again.
At first, Phillip thought it was just his imagination, but as the seconds ticked by, he realized he could actually hear her heartbeat, soft yet distinct, blending with the ambient sounds of the room. It wasn't just that he could hear it; he felt as though it was calling out to him, drawing his focus with an intensity that was almost overwhelming. He tried to push it away, to concentrate on the class, but the sound persisted, tugging at the edges of his consciousness.
Isabella, oblivious to Phillip's internal struggle, turned to him with a friendly smile. "I'm Isabella," she introduced herself, offering her hand, her eyes sparkling with a mix of friendliness and curiosity. She had noticed him during breakfast, the way he had looked at her, and she was curious about the boy who seemed so drawn to her.
Phillip shook her hand, feeling a slight electric tingle at the contact, but what struck him more was the way her pulse seemed to quicken just slightly when their hands touched.
"Phillip," he responded, his voice steady, though inside he was anything but. He could still hear her heartbeat, and now, having introduced themselves, he felt an odd connection forming, something deeper than just a first meeting.k
As Isabella chats with Phillip, Lysandra saw Fleix was staring them and clunch his jaw and palm, like he gets jealous. Than, she shares a knowing glance with Sirela, smirking slightly as they notice the tension between Isabella, Phillip, and Felix.
Aurora, grinning: "Well, she certainly has their attention. Think she realizes it?"
Lysandra laughs quietly. "Not a chance. But something tells me they're not just here to watch."
Meanwhile, sirela feels sad, like she finally believed that Felix isnt in love with her but Isabella. The sex was nothing for him.
While they are talking, Phillip tries to keep his emotions under control, but it's a struggle. He feels his own darkness rising in response to Isabella's allure, like a predator drawn to its prey.
Phillip's thinking "I should turn away, but I can't. She's more than just beauty. There's a power in her, something ancient. And it calls to the darkest parts of me."
While talking, Isabella hears a faint whisper, ancient and unintelligible, just as her eyes meet Phillip's.
"Isabella... seek... the dragon's heart..."
She looks around, but there's no one near her who could have spoken.
Isabella thought "What was that voice? It felt... like it came from within me."
The whisper fades, leaving her uneasy but intrigued, adding to her sense of an untapped destiny.
The students filed out of the potion class, the chatter of the day blending with the crisp air outside. Phillip lingered by the door, catching Isabella's eye. A soft smile formed on his lips, one she returned with equal warmth. Their eyes lingered for a moment longer than usual before he murmured, "Goodbye, Isabella," his voice carrying an unspoken tenderness.
"Goodbye, Phillip," she replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Lucian enters in class and saw Aurora. Aurora look at him and ask "Have I seen you before ?"
He replied "in nightmares." He stared in her eyes and compelled her "Start hating Isabella and you love Phillip your sister knows about it but she Steal him from you." With a blurry effect he left.
Felix, leaning against the wall nearby, watched Isabella and phillip intently. His jaw tightened, his gaze shadowed. Aurora, standing beside him, crossed her arms, her eyes flickering with jealousy. "He's never talked to anyone before," she muttered, her voice laced with frustration. "But with her..."
Sirela stepped closer to him, her hand hesitantly reaching for his. "Felix," she said, her voice trembling slightly, "just tell me the truth. You don't have feelings for me, do you?"
Felix sighed, his expression hardening. "You already know the answer, Sirela. I've never loved you. It's always been Isabella."
A sharp intake of breath escaped her lips. Isabella, standing a few feet away with Lysandra and Aurora, froze as the words echoed in her ears.
Sirela's hand slipped from Felix's, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "So... the night we spent together," she began, her voice breaking, "when you were at your lowest, what was that to you? What did it mean to you?"
Felix looked away, shame flickering across his face. His gaze shifted to Isabella briefly before returning to Sirela. "It doesn't matter," he said flatly. "I was weak, and you were there. You were protecting me, and... I made a mistake. But it doesn't mean I love you."
Sirela's face crumpled, a single tear sliding down her cheek. Without another word, Felix turned and walked away, his shoulders stiff with tension.
Isabella stepped forward instinctively, her heart aching for Sirela. But before she could speak, Sirela's head snapped up, her expression blazing with hurt and anger. "You stole my love!" she spat, her voice rising. "He's obsessed with you, and you act like you don't care. Why don't you just accept him, Isabella? You don't have anyone else, so why ruin my life?"
Isabella stood stunned as Sirela stormed off, Aurora chasing after her.
Lysandra placed a hand on Isabella's shoulder. "You know how she is," she said gently. "She doesn't mean it. Don't take it to heart. We have to get ready for the party, tonight. Let's go"
Isabella nodded silently, the weight of the moment settling on her. Without a word, she and Lysandra walked away, leaving the tension lingering in the air.
