3rd POV:
It has been three weeks since rwby, Mitchell, and van had been together in and within those three weeks van has been getting stronger where he could defeat Mitchell but no matter what for Van buddyfightes are meant for fun for he follows the same road as his father.

Van: Man today is so boaring!!

Drum: Then why not head over to castle?

Van: Sure I need some new cards anyways.

As van and drum went over to castle Mitchell was there working on his deck while adding some new cards while his buddy was curled up next to his legs.

Mitchell: So many new danger world cards and yet beacons buddy cup is just around the corner.

While Mitchell was working on his deck he didn't notice Van walking inside as he went over to grab some packs then walked over to the cashier to pay for the packs.

Cashier: Thank you and please come again.

Van: Thanks I will.

As Van walked out from castle he saw two people who he did not expect to see and ran over to them.

Van: Mom what are you and snowball doing here?

Paruko: I went out shopping but i remember that I have something important to do so could you look after your sister for today.

Van: Sure

Paruko: Thanks.

Paruko handed snowball over to van as he smiles at his little sister as she giggles and her cat ears twitch.

Snowball: Nya~ onii-chan.

Van: Hehe.

Paruko: Ok I'll be off now *kisses snowball's forehead* Be a good girl ok.

Snowball: K.

As they saw paruko walk way they went throws beacon while smiling not knowing at a card inside one of the packs was glowing while they have kept one walking.

Van: I'm going to take you to meet my friend snowball.

Snowball: K.

Van chuckles at the answer his little sister have given him and continue his way to beacon.

Snowball: *amazed* Wow.

Van: It's big right.

Snowball: *nods*

They both walk inside of beacon as van looks around for any of his friends and eventually finds team jrpn.

Van: Hey guys.

Jaune: Hey van.

Pyrrha: Hello.

Rin: Hey

Nora: Hello!

Van: *chuckles* So how are you guys doing?

Pyrrha: We're fine.

Jaune: *notice snowball* And what's with the little kid?

Van: Oh right *holds up snowball* Guys meet Snowball mikado she's my fuanus little sister.

Nora: Ahh she's so cute.

Snowball: *hides her face on Van's chest*

Van: Sorry she's bit on the shy side when it comes to meeting new people.

Nora: It's ok.

Rin: But why is she here?

Van: My mom had something important to do so she asked me to look after her.

Pyrrha: Ok.

Jaune: But what deck are you going to use in the buddy cup?

Van: What do you mean?

Rin: Beacon's having it's BBC it's short for beacon's buddy cup which is in two weeks.

Van: Cool as for the deck I'm going to use well that will be a secret Jaune I don't want people using a deck that could counter mine.

Jaune: Yeah your right.

Van: Well catch you guys later.

JNPR: See ya.

As Van walked away form them while he was carrying snowball in his arms he had made his way to rwby's dorm room and knocked on their door.

Yang: Who is it?

Van: It me van.

Yang: Ok just give us a second.

Van: Sure.

All van could hear was stuff being thrown around the room until Ruby had opened the door.

Ruby: *blushing softly* H-hey Van.

Van: Hey Ruby you don't if we come in right.

Ruby: Do you mean you and drum?

Van: No me and my little sister. *holds up snowball*

Ruby: No not at all come in.

Van walked in the room while Ruby closed the door.

Van: Hey.

Yang: Sup?

Blake: *waves*

Weiss: Hello.

Van: So you all heard about the BBC?

Rwby: Yup.

Yang: *notice snowball* Is she your sister?

Van: Yup this is snowball mikado my fuanus little sister.

Blake: She's so cute.

Snowball: *hides her face on Van's chest*

Van: Hehe she's shy around new people. *looks at her* It's ok their my friend say hi to them.

Snowball: *looks at them* hello.

Yang: Oh well aren't you the cutest things. *looks at van* Can I hold her?

Van: Sure *hands snowball to her*

Yang: *holds her* She's even cuter up close *rubs her cheek on snowball's cheek*

Snowball: *purrs*

Blake: So she's a cat fuanus.

Van: Yup *opening up a pack* Oh this has some good cards.

Ruby: So what deck are you going to use in the first round?

Van: *about to open his last pack* That Ruby is a secret.

Ruby: Oh come on tell me.

Van: Nope.

As van openes his last pack the card started to glow a yellow light covering the entire room.

Yang: *covering her and snowball's eyes* No way he pulled out a buddy rare?!

As the light died out where van was standing in front of him was a dragon that they never seen before.

Van: Hi I'm Van mikado

Bal: I'm Shining Sun Dragon, Bal Dragon.

Van: I've never heard of a sun Dragon but hey if you want to be my friend then let it be *smiles*

Bal: Bal agrees, Bal.

Meanwhile in another part of beacon there's a boy sitting down on a bench with two dragons besides him one who's scale color is red while having some armor around its body while the other one has light brown color scales while the boy has black hair color and wolf ears and wears a gold jacket.

Boy: Ok this deck is going to be the best one I've made.

Red dragon: You think so Jack?

Jack: I know so flare.

Flare: Alright.

Light brown dragon: *roars*

Jack: Don't worry Abend I haven't forgotten about you.

Abend: *nods*

Jack: Ok during the first few rounds I'll use dragon world and in the seme final I'll use ancient world.

Flare/Abend: *nods*

Jack: But there is that one kid who might give us some trouble.

Flare: You mean Van mikado right?

Jack: Yup he might be our toughest appointment yet beside Mitchell.

Flare: Yeah.

Jack: But even so I'm going to have some major fun!
