3rd POV:

It has been a day since van have defeated yang and what was impressive that he only did it on his first turn this made everyone praise him but much to Van's dislike he hated it but he still carried on his daily day studying and playing buddy fight all at the same time he had caught the attention of beacons most powerful buddyfighter for his name is Mitchell.

Mitchell: He's just a buddy fighter but yet he keep up with his studies.

Cerberus:And don't forget he defeated yang on his first turn.

Mitchell: Yeah that's true but with that one turn he's been getting praise from everyone but he hates it.

As Mitchell and Cerberus kept on walking Van was hiding behind one the walls in halls overhearing them talk about him.

Van: Oh great now I've got the numner one fighter of beacon on me. I need to lay low for a while and hopefully everything will settle down.

Without van knowing Ruby walked over to him and tapped on his shoulder trying to get his attention.

Ruby: Hey Van.

Van: *turn his head around* Oh hey Ruby need something?

Ruby: Yeah would you like to hang our with me, my team, and an old friend of my sister?

Van: Sure I finished all of my work.

Ruby: Great meet us at dust till dawn around 12 o'clock.

Van: Ok meet you there.

Ruby POV:

I smiled and walked away from van while I was screaming internally of how happy I was.

Ruby: Yeah I'm so happy!!

I didn't know but at the same time Mitchell was standing next to me. 

Mitchell: Your happy about what Ruby?

I jumped in the air and let out a small epp and turned to face him.

Ruby: Mitchell!!

Mitchell: *does a peace sign* Yo.

I started to hit him on his chest rapidly knowing it wouldn't hurt him.

Ruby: Mitchell you jerk you know how I hate when you do something like that.

Mitchell: *laughs* Hehe, ok I won't forget it again.

I looked at him with my cheeks puffed out with my pouty face.

Mitchell: So care to tell me why your so Ruby?

Ruby: Yeah, you see I asked van if he would like to hangout with us.

Mitchell: Ok.

While Mitchell walked away I ran back to my dorm to find a change of clothes while still thinking about the time I'll be spending with van.

Ruby: I can't wait its going to be so much fun!

I opened the door to my dorm and saw my team there but I walked over to my closet to find what to wear.

Ruby: Mmm what to wear?

Yang: What are you doing rubes?

Ruby: I'm looking for something to wear today.

Yang: Why would you care on how you look? *hits her on the head* Is it to impress that van boy isn't~.

I could feel my face turning red giving myself away while I hear yang, Weiss,and Blake giggling.

Yang: My baby sis is growing up.

Ruby: Yang!!

Blake: With all jokes aside we'll help you win his heart Ruby.

Weiss: And I did find out something about him.

Ruby: Like what Weiss?

Weiss: He's the son of the world's number one buddyfighter!

We were all shocked that van was the son of the best buddyfighter in the world and yet he's here studying at beacon.

Yang: Then why is he studying at beacon if he's the son of the best buddyfighter?

Weiss: It doesn't go into details but one thing is for sure is that he wishes to follow in his father footsteps.

Blake: So then.

Yang: My little sister has fallen in love with an amazing buddyfighter!

Ruby: Aaah!! I hope his dad isn't some power hungry guy.

Weiss: Actually Ruby it says that he's not after the death of his older brother he has been trying to make people smile as well he published his brother's books as his last wish.

Ruby: Amazing!

Yang: What's the name of the book?

Weiss: The might sun fighter.

Rby: Your joking!!

Weiss: Nope.

It took us a while to prosess what we just heard while one of the dresses I has holding fell.

Yang: Well we should all get ready and Ruby.

Ruby: Yes sis?

Yang: That would look good on you.

I saw on what dress she was pointing at which made new blush but still I decided to wear it hoping he would like.

{Time skip}

Van POV:

I was standing in front of dust till dawn while reading a manga that was made from my uncle.

Van: Man my uncle had such an story.

I heard a couple of footsteps and put the manga in my pocket and turn to face where the footsteps where coming from but when they came closer I saw Ruby and instelty blushes from the dress she was wearing.

Van: H-hey Ruby.

Ruby: H-hey van.

Yang: Hey don't forget about me.

Van: Oh I didn't see you there yang.

I scratched the back of my head while seeing three other people next to them but I knew one of them was Weiss Schenn.

Van: Well this is a surprise the great Schenn being here in Vale of all places.

Weiss: Wait you know who I am?!

Van: Yeah your father tries to convince my father to make a marriage plan for me to make you my bride but in the end my father decline it.

Weiss: Yup my father is a jerk trying to do stuff like that.

Van: So who are the other two?

Blake: I'm Blake I use katina world.

Mitchell: And I'm Mitchell beacon's number one fighter.

Van: Oh snap your Yang's childhood friend!

Mitchell: Yup.

Van: Damn I was actually trying not to cross your path until later on.

Mitchell: Well that's something good to know and I use danger world.

Van: It's nice to meet you all I'm van mikado and I use any world that allows me to use my buddy monster.

Mitchell: Cool.

Blake: What should we do?

Van: How about we go to castle?

Ruby: Sure.

We all walked over to castle while talking about our life and whatnot

Ruby: So van.

Van: What is it Ruby?

Ruby: Are you dating anyone?

When Ruby asked me this i was caught offgaurd.

Van: N-no I'm not.

Ruby: O-ok

The both of us kept quiet without saying a word till we had reached castle one of my favorite card shops

Van: Here we are castle.

Ruby: It looks amazing.

Blake: Wow.

I could see most of their faces surprised on how it looked from the inside except for yang and Mitchell in which case they have come often.

Mitchell: So why did you wanted to come here Van?

Van: Well I wanted to buy some new packs while at the same time having some amazing buddyfightes.

Mitchell: Ok.

We all entered castle and were instantly surrounded by little kids both human and faunus.

Kids: Can we have a buddy fight?!

Van: Ok but with who?

As soon I said that I regretted it

Kids: You!

All of the little kids pushed out rwby along with Mitchell leaving me in a circle of kids.

Van: Alright I'll fight you all.

Kids: Yay!!

Van: But let me get some new cards ok.

Kids: k!!

I saw the little kids running off to some tables nearby as they look throw their deck as it puts a smile on my face.

Van: Alright time to use a new deck.

I walked over to buy some packs then after I did I went over to a free table while Ruby was standing next to me.

Ruby: It seems that the kids around here like buddy fighting with you.

Van: Yeah but even don't know why.

After I got my hero deck all put together I went over to the kids then we started the buddyfight.

{Time skip}

Van: Alright right drum finish her up!

Drum: Here's the finishing blow!

Faunus girl: Ahh!

Faunus girl lp: 2>>>0

Van: Thanks for the fight.

Faunus girl: Yup it was fun playing with you.

After my fights with all of the little kids I gave each one of them a head pat then went back to beacon with my friends.

Yang: Wow van you're extremely nice to little kids aren't you.

Van: Well I do have a little sister at home that I have to look after from time to time.

Ruby: How nice of you

Van: Hehe, well that's job of an older sibling.

When we approach beacon we all went separate ways while the only thing was running throw my head was on how beautiful Ruby looked in that dress.

Van: Am I falling in love with her?
