𝖛. The kiss

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 ─ THE KISS
❝ were you 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 who 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝 ❞

THE DAY AFTER the tournament, Visenya was sat with the Stark girls and Septa Mordane around the table, all of them breaking their fast. As expected, Arya began raving to Visenya on her fight with the Mountain, also cursing herself for missing it. "You actually fought the Mountain?"

"It's true, little wolf." The dragon said, smiling at the little she-wolf as she looked at her, a look of amazement in her eyes, at the thought of the small girl fighting the mountain, wanting to know more.

"Gods. I can't believe I missed it." Arya said, a frustrated look on her face. "You really stole the Hounds sword to do it." Arya questioned, to which Visenya gave a closed lip grin, nodding.

"Mhmm."

"And you did it in a dress?" Arya asked, her eyes widening even more. How could anyone fight in a dress?

"It was a dangerous and reckless thing to do." Septa Mordane cut in.

"Who cares. It was badass." Arya shrugged.

Both Septa Mordane's and Sansa's eyes widened at the girl language, while Visenya gave a small chuckle.

"Arya!" Septa Mordane said shocked. "Lady's do not use such language."

"I don't wanna be a bloody lady." Arya rolled her eyes.

"You're so stubborn." Sansa rolled her eyes back at her sister.

"Shut up." The younger girl bit back.

"Stop fighting girls." Mordane said in an orderly tone, causing the two girls to fall silent, glaring at each other.

Moments of silence passed as the sound of cutlery moving around was heard, before Arya's voice sounded, breaking the silence.

"Can you teach me how to fight, Vis?" Arya asked, her eyes bright with curiosity.

"Arya!" Septa Mordane said, shocked at the very thought of the girl teaching the other such a thing.

"Well I'm not too good at it." Visenya shrugged.

"You fought the Mountain in a dress. Please, teach me your ways." The young girl pleaded.

"You must not, Visenya." Mordane said, sternly, looking over at the silver-haired girl.

"Arya's already barbaric enough." Sansa agreed smugly.

"Sansa!" Mordane looked over at the red head girl, "Don't say such things about your sister."

Sansa sighed, and shrugged as Arya reached over, tugging at her hair, causing Sansa to let out a yelp.

"Arya!"Mordane exclaimed. Visenya let out a small chuckle, watching the siblings, earning a look from Mordane, causing her to quickly stop chuckling.

"Oh, dear Gods." Septa Mordane said frustratedly, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "That's it, girls." Mordane stood up, placing down her fork, causing the three girls to look up at her, all of them falling silent. "Finish eating your breakfast, now. I want no more squabbles. After this I might have to teach you a lesson on respect."

"Sorry Septa." Sansa said, meekly, slightly shrinking down into herself, as the other two girls nodded.

After tense minutes of silence, only broken by the sound of people eating, they all soon finished, and Mordane stood up.

"Sansa, Arya." She said, causing the girls to stand as well, moving over to her, "Let's go." Mordane said, turning around beginning to walk to the door.

"Wait," Visenya called, causing all three of them to turn back to her, "Arya." She called to, motioning her over. The girl came over and Visenya leaned down to whisper in her ear. "I might be able to teach you some things."

Arya pulled back a bright smile growing on her face. "Yes." She cheered, hugging the girl.

"Arya." Mordane called, giving a look to Visenya as if she knew what she had told the girl. Arya pulled back from Visenya and went back over to Mordane who turned to leave the room, the two Stark Girls following her.

IT WAS ONLY hours later that Lord Stark came to her. Visenya was in her room, looking over her eyes when the guard outside announced his presence, to which she let him come in.

Visenya turned towards him as he entered. "How are you?" He asked.

"I'm well, my Lord," she said, smiling. "Arya seemed upset she missed my fight with the Mountain." Lord Stark nodded and smiled back at the girl. Arya had been asking him, septa Mordane and Sansa, basically anyone who witnessed it, what happened.

"Arya told me that you agreed to help train her. Are you sure you have the time to do so?" The Stark man asked.

Visenya nodded, "I'm sure I can find some free time to help the little she-wolf." she responded. He nodded and smiled.

"I'm sure we can figure out something." Ned said, just then, the guard out side spoke again.

"Prince Joffrey, my Lady." The two both looked at the door and watched as the prince strode in.

"My Lady," he said, slightly nodding his head at Visenya, before looking over at Lord Stark, a slight look crossing his face. "My Lord,"

"My Prince." They both responded, bowing their heads.

"If I may have a moment alone with my betrothed," Joffrey said, causing Lord Stark to bow his head again before walking out of the room.

Joffrey smirked as he began to walk over to her. He was soon to be king, and she was soon to be his queen, and his mother figured they needed to bond. "I have a gift," he said, showing a lion pendant necklace.

Visenya moved closer, looking at the pendant. "A lion?" Visenya rose her brows looking at him.

"Yes, yes. My mother picked it out."

"Of course." Visenya spoke under her breath.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Hmm." He hummed, looking at her neck and saw that there already was a necklace on it. "Take off that junk," he said looking back at her.

She raised an eyebrow. "I would rather keep it on, my Prince" she said the last words coldly.

"Fine, I'll do it myself." He said, moving to go behind her to take it off. Visenya turned towards him. "Turn around."

"No." Visenya stood her ground, speaking sternly.

"Do you want me to have the guard come in and force you?" Joffrey said lowly, and at that moment, she could swear she saw a glimpse into what her future of being married to him would look like. Visenya casted him a glare before slowly turning ever so slightly.

"Ah, good." Joffrey said, moving to stand behind her once more, moving her hair out the way to unclasp the necklace Jon had given her.

He tossed it on the table beside them, and put his necklace on her harshly. "You look better now." He said, going back in front of her, noticing her unpleased look.

He smirked, noticing it. "You are to be my wife and the future queen in two weeks. You have to obey me." He said, placing his hand on her cheek, it felt cold and made Visenya even more uncomfortable.

"You will have to make heirs for me, you know what that means?" Her face twinged up at the thought. He began to lean in. Her eyes widening as she noticed. His lips pressed against hers, not moving as Visenya made no move to kiss back. Noticing that he backed away and sneered, watching as Visenya rubbed her mouth with the back of her hand.

"There's much more where that came from." He taunted, and walked out of the room, leaving the girl to watch him, a disgusted look on her face.

She wanted to throw up. The fact that they were not Jon that she kissed just now disgusted her. She quickly took off the necklace, tossing it roughly onto the table and picked back up the necklace Jon had given her, delicately placing it back on her neck. She glared at the necklace on the table before looking back to her eggs.

She was not worried about the wedding, she was worried about the bedding ceremony. She saw the smirk he had as he taunted her with it. The thought of having to make his heirs, causing bile to build up in her throat. She knew that he would not be kind or nice to her, though he never was. His attitude showed that.

But she was a dragon. She had to survive, and she will.
