We sit around the campfire at dinner. Everyone sits with their siblings. Chris is hugging his knees, almost completely surrounded by Hermes kids. Dylan and the other satyrs stand by Chiron. I can't help but notice that Dylan is the only one with rainbow-colored hooves. Dylan looks nervous, as I believe it's almost time for Chiron to give his speech. Sure enough, everyone's noise comes to a halt when Chiron begins speaking. "Welcome, everyone. Today, we are joined by two new guests." He gestures toward me. "Celeste Thompson, daughter of Poseidon." A few cheers. Percy smiles at me. "In addition to Celeste, her protector, Dylan Montez, has returned." Dylan waves awkwardly. "And, finally-" Before Chiron can finish, a scythe appears over Chris's head. "Christopher Dawson, son of Demeter."
