~Luna POV

Hi, I'm Luna...my story starts out sort of like this; I can't describe everything that happened, because my memory isn't nearly as good, but I'll try my best to shed some light on it-even though my world is practically filled with darkness! The moon is the only thing that shines over the land, keeping me safe. I feel like I have some sort of connection with it, after all my name is Luna! 

Besides that, I've never really had a real family of my own, or from what I've remembered...It's just me, the moon, and my cousin, Conner. Conner doesn't see me very often, though. He's a night guard, and is training to go into war with our enemies, the sun clan. Our clan, obviously, is the night clan. Every night I visit the border that holds back our two completely different worlds, and I can't help but think, that there's something on the other side, waiting for me... I don't even know why we have this whole war in the first place! As I said, its just me and the moon trying to survive this world.

I've been an outcast my whole life-I think-from what I've remembered, anyways. I don't even look like my kind, I don't know who I look like! My hair is a bright, shimmering gold. It glows over the cold winds of the valley near a creek, where(it seems like) all the animals go to drink. I wear a dress that is of silver, and the darkest of blues one will ever see, but it doesn't fit well on me like it does on everyone else! They have dark blue hair, black hair, or (rarely) a shimmering silver. Yes, sometimes gold looks like silver, but you can tell between my gold, and their silver!
