Next day, Kristys POV

"That's right, I'm your friendly neighbourhood alchemist! So don't forget, I'm Edward Elric!" Ed said as he went up onto what I swear is the tallest pole in the city, guess he's making up for his height.

I turned to Al "can I blind him now?" I smiled at him.

I heard his armour rattle so I assume he shook his head. "No Kristy, this is all apart of the plan." He said in almost a pleading tone.

"Fine then, can I burn his ass off? I don't know how the people are cheering for him it's starting to get annoying." I said out loud. 'But you have to agree he kinda looks cute.' My inner voice said. 'No! And you butt out of this.' 'Oh come on, and look from this point you get a good view of h-' 'SHUT UP! I DIDNT ASK FOR YOUR OPINION!' I screamed in my head, I felt my face grow hot. But wait why, it's not like I can see anything, stupid imagination.

"Kristy are you okay, you look kinda re-"

"I am perfectly done Al." I said interrupting him before he made my face go even darker shades of crimson.

"Okay." He said, but I could almost feel his knowing look on me, "can I ask you something?"

"What do you want Al?" I said but then realised what he is probably going to ask, my eyes went as wide as saucers.

"Do you like Ed?" I swear if a) he had a body and b) I could see, he would be wiggling his eyebrows at me and having a HUGE smirk on his face right now. Cause I just went a hundred shades darker on my face, I found out that the floor is quite interesting at that point.

"W-what w-w-would make you th-think that." I chuckled nervously before taking a large gulp of air hoping he wouldn't say it was completely obvious.

"You seem to act a little differently around brother than other people." He said almost innocently. I gave a sigh.

I was about to tell him the truth when I heard footsteps come up behind me. "heh, I'm pretty sure everyone in Central knows my name now."

"Well you were a little over the top . . ."

"Yeah, I bet half the city wants to rip out your vocal chords just like me." I said as I have him a glare. 'No you won't, you love his voice.' 'Didn't I tell you to shut up?!'

"When did you become so theatrical fullmetal?" I recognised the voice as flame heads, guess I was too engrossed in my thoughts to hear him come up behind us.

"Colonel? Shouldn't you be in hospital?" I heard Ed say.

"Probably." He muttered.

Ed lent against the window and begun to whisper to flame head. "About Havoc, I didn't get a chance to tell you but I'm sure that Dr Marco wou-"

"Hold it, people are watching us, get in." Ed and Al squeezed in to the car and I just waited outside.

I could hear a few uncomfortable squirms. "Gonna guess you guys aren't fitting in properly?" I smirked at them.

"On second thought, let's get out."

"Dr Marcos gone missing?" Ed and I said together, I mean how can that happen if he was with the military. Wait, who is this Dr Marco fella? Oh well, they'll probably give me hints soon.

"Looks like it, they've probably taken him captive." Okay so the homunculi are interested in him? "There's something else we need to talk about, I'm sure you've heard hay Scar is back. So what's with all the showboating? Do you want him to find you?" I would have made some smart remark, but I heard someone creeping up the alleyway.

"Yeah that's exactly what I want, I need to fight him and you can't talk me out of it." Ed replied.

"Hey, um guys." I tried to interrupt as the person got closer.

"Have you lost your mind? Did you forget how her tore you guys apart in east city?!"

"Hey guys, we have a-"

"What's wrong Kristy?" I heard Riza come up to me as the boys kept arguing.

I pointed down the ally as I explained. "Someone's been coming down the ally, but those nincompoops aren't listening."

"It wasn't my fault! It was raining that day!" I heard Riza get out her gun and point it down the ally and that got the boys attention?!

"Oh come on, I'm nearly screaming at you trying to get you to listen but Riza gets her gun ready and you listen straight away?"

"Guess he got your invite." Roy said. Oh it's Scar.

"You okay? You'd think it was raining the way your forehead is dripping."

"Ed, not time for smart remarks. Just stick to the plan. Lt don't shoot!" I said as I heard the guns trigger tighten as Riza got ready to shoot.

"What are you crazy?" She practically screamed

"Yeah we are."

"I'm trying out the colonels sport, maybe I'll catch a few fish." Ed said before he began to charge.

"Be serious you once in your life Ed!" I sighed as I ran forward as well, I touched my middle finger and thumb together before touching the ground and building a wall between the fight and the others.

"Were using brother as bait to lure out the homunculi. He's too important to them to let die."

"Your crazy!" I heard from over the wall.

"We won't let anyone else get hurt! Using ourself as bait is the only way!"

"What about Kristy?"

"She need the stone as well so she's with us, and she's making sure Scar doesn't kill Ed while I'm explaining this to you."

"What will you do if Scar happens to get shot? The MPs might get here before the homunculi."

"You can stop that from happening flame head! And Al you might wanna hurry that up a bit!" I screamed to them as I dogged Scars attacks before trying to hit him with my own.

"Now I take orders from you guys huh? You've got a lot of nerve, you'd better share your catch."

"What ever, as long as you do your part!" I said as Al came into they fight as well. "Finally, why did you guys try to take this guy on in the first place?"

"Well it was either fight him to be killed, this is the guy that's hunting state alchemists." Ed said to me.

"So he's using alchemy to take down people who use alchemy?"

"Yeah, we didn't think it made much sense either."

"Hey someone's coming." I said.

"Hey get out of the way! We need a clear shot!" Oh damn.

"No don't shoot! You'll hit my brother and Kristy!" Thanks Al, but I dunno of they'll listen. Suddenly Scar swung at Ed and me, nearly taking off both our heads. 'I so hope your plan
works Ed cause of these stupid homunculi don't show up, were gonna be piles of blood and scrap metal. And then Winry's gonna kill us for messing up her automail.'

"KRISTY!" Ed screamed taking me out of my thoughts, and just in enough time for me to be flung into the wall.

Scar walked over to me before grabbing me around the neck. "Your going to be the best to join God I see." He practically growled at me as I struggled for breath clawing at his hands to get them away from my throat. Damn it, Ed please help.

Oooo what's gonna happen, I don't know if I've made a cliffhanger this good the entire book! Yeah and now you all probs think I'm evil for it, well I'll update as soon as I can.
