Rosalyn's POV

     I sat up in bed, looking around. Being Fifteen didn't feel different, but I knew that would change soon. I got ready, heading out to the Auditorium, where the Birthday reception was held. I sighed, smoothing the dress mom had thought would fit the event.

     I walked into the Auditorium, the lights all off. Maybe the Head Master decided to wait till later. I turned, but then heard, "Surprise!" From behind me. I whirled around watching as the lights turned on revealing the Auditorium decorated for my birthday. I gaped, "What..." I managed to say. Serena raced up to me, "Happy birthday, Rose!" She said hopping up and down. "Thanks Rena.." I said, still stunned.

     The Head Master stepped onto the stage, "Rosalyn, it's time to discover your Familiar." He said. I quietly made my way towards the Head Master, fear and excitement bubbling in me. I closed my eyes, and opened them, looking at the Head Master. "The mythical ones have decided you are worthy to have a Familiar." He said in a calm tone. "Now close your eyes and let the Familiar come to you." I closed my eyes, letting the peaceful feeling soothe me.

     I heard gasps, though I kept my eyes closed. "Open your eyes, Rosalyn." A soft voice said. I opened my eyes, and there stood a small dragon. "Your my familiar?" I asked. "I am." She said. I nodded, and asked, "What is your name..?" "You may call me.. Seraphina." She responded calmly. I nodded, and stood. We walked off the stage, and I smiled brightly at Serena. She responded with a Thumbs Up.

     I walked back to the dorm I shared with Serena, Seraphina close behind me. I opened the door to find someone packing my things. "What are you doing? This is me and Serena's room!" I said angrily. The girl shrugged, "I'm moving you out. I don't care if you were assigned here." That pricked a nerve, I told Seraphina to get Serena here now. She nodded and ran off.

Serena's POV

     I watched as Seraphina raced around the corner, and spotted me. She dashed up and I heard her speak. "I can't do this often, only if my Equal tells me a name that I need to talk to." She said in a rushed tone. "What's the matter Seraphina?" I asked nervously. "Someone's trying to move Rose out of your room!" She said. "Ok. I'm going now." I ran off in the direction of our room, Seraphina following.

Rosalyn's POV

     I watched as Serena ran in the room, and I gave Seraphina a quick nod of congratulations. She nodded back, and turned to her. Serena glared at her, "What are you doing to my Room mates things?" She said coldly. "Moving her out. She shouldn't even be here!" She whined. "Well we were assigned rooms, now go to yours and no arguing." She said, her tone laced with anger. I glared at the girl. "You can't throw me out anyways, that's against Head Masters Rules." I pointed out coldly. She nodded and trudged out of our room, to her own.

     I finished preparing Sera's bed, quietly letting her test it. "Does she like it?" Serena asked. "Yeah, Seraphina loves it." I said with a smile. Seraphina nodded, curling up. "Night guys." I said, drifting to sleep.

     Hey guys! I hope you liked this chapter. And Rosalyn's love interest has not been added yet. I still need a name for him.
