Taylor became aware of her surroundings as he aroused. Not quite opening her eyes yet, she felt her head on something soft and something scratchy itched her underneath her chin. A slight buzz filled her ears as well as chatter. She fully opened her eyes and found herself staring out at clouds. She raised her head as she shook off the scary dream she had just had. Her side was hurting so she placed a hand on it. She had been having a dream that a woman came up to her, and was trying to tell her something but Taylor could not hear what she was saying. Someone had come and grabbed them both and stuffed them inside something. A box of some sort.

"Hey." A voice said, startling her. She looked and saw Stone looking at her. He grabbed her hand and kissed it

"Hi. Um, why are we on a plane?"

"We're headed to Vancouver international airport."

"Oh okay. I uh I don't remember boarding."

"Your memory will be fuzzy. I mean you haven't slept much or eaten much."

"Yeah you're right. I think once I eat and sleep I should be good to go. So what will we do when we get to the airport?"

"Book the flight to Alaska."

"Did we really make it?"

"Yes. I believe we did." Stone said smiling. Taylor smiled back feeling relieved.

"Oh I'm so glad. While I hate running away, I want to keep my mom and dad safe. I've come to realize that this is the best option."

"Good I'm so glad you've reached that decision." Stone said, grabbing her hand.

"So how much longer do we have?"

"Uh let's see." Stone looked at his watch. "We still have about two more hours. It was a five hour flight with no stops."

"Oh. So is it morning?"

"Yes. It's actually the next day." Stone removed the blind and the sun streamed through making the clouds look glorious

"It sure is pretty."

"Yeah it is. It's 7:04 Am." As he said that her stomach growled. Stone laughed.

"Let's get you some food." He flagged down a sterdress who said that they had orange juice and toast available and a granola bar. Stone ordered two one for both of them and let Danka fend for herself. The food came and Taylor ate and began to feel rejuvenated. The stewardess ame with mugs of coffee which Taylor savored.

"So How long is the flight to Alaska?"

"Not long, but there will be a layover. We fly from the airport to Seattle Tacoma  airport and reach there at 6:03 then at 9:10 we leave for Alaska and arrive at 12:13." Taylor mumbled things under her breath before speaking

'That means there is a time zone difference."

"Yes."

"Ooff that one will take some time to get used to."

"It will but there's really nothing to it." Stone smiled reassuringly.

"When we get to the airport, will we have time to freshen up?"

"Yes we will have lots of time to explore because the fligh dosen't leave till night time. I'll book us a hotel so we can sleep, um maybe go swimming, go shopping."

"Yeah that sounds nice." Taylor said with a smile. "MAybe I can get my parents a gift. That way maybe they won't be too mad at me." She chuckled softly.

"I'm sure once they get the full story they will understand."

"Will they?" She asked, scrunching her eyebrows together.

"We can only hope." He said with a soft smile.

"What do you think my parents are doing?"

"I don't know. I'm sure they are worried sick about it. I just hope they don't start digging their noses in where they don't belong."

"Why?"

"Because those same people that tried to kill you, could kill them for getting too close." Taylor's mouth dropped open as she sputtered out

"Well I-I have to warn them then! Can't I tell them alive!?"

"No. Not right now. Maybe later. But I'd advise you not to." Taylor was going to speak again, but the coldness in his voice made her unable to open her mouth again. Instead she looked away and plugged in her headphones to the DVD player and tried to watch the movie, but her thoughts went out to her parents as she sent up a wish of wellness to them.
