"oh hey it's the dude from the gas station" i pointed at a the guy

"oh yeah" she started to walked away "you okay on your own?"

"yes belly i'll be fine" i laughed and walked towards where all the beers were

i picked one up and when i started to turn around, but i ran into someone's chest

"i'm so sorry" i told the person, seeing that some of his drink spilled on his shirt

"oh no it okay" he said, i looked up and saw this hit boy "i'm blake lake" he held his hand out

"i'm penny" i shook his hand and smiled at him, we walked together near the actual fire "wait so your parents named you blake lake?" i giggled

"yeah they thought it was so funny, it's really not" he said looking down at me with a smile "i've never seen you around here"

"yeah no i live like 4 hours from here, my mom's best friends with jeremiah's and conrad's mom" i tell him

"that's cool, i'm buddies with jeremiah, used to with conrad but he's different" he told me

"yeah that he is" i nodded agreeing with him

"what the fuc- your here too?" i looked to my left and saw steven "i just busted belly for being here, god what are y'all wearing"

i rolled at him "steven go away" i groaned

"is that pen, what the hell are you doing here" i looked behind and saw here right behind him

"oh my god, if y'all are gonna boss me around, i'm just gonna leave" i groaned

"good" steven and jere both said

"hey man" blake patted jeres shoulder, jere just eyed him

"hey" jere nodded up to him "look penny just go hang out with belly"

"no i think i'm pretty good right here with blake" i smiled and jere only shook his head

"so they are really protected over you, huh?" blake asked me

we were currently lauding down in the sand with beers in our hands

"yeah, one time when i was 15 i was just hitting puberty and this one guy was hitting on me. jere just him until his nose started bleeding" i tell him

"you and jere are close?" he asked me another question , what's with the questions

"very, i love him" i looked at the stars "he's like my best friend"

"you like him?" he wondered

i moved my eyes from the sky to where jere was, he was making out with some chick. then to blake's eyes

"i think i used to, not anymore i think" i tell him a lie "why?"

"just wanna make sure i'm not gonna get in the way of anything" he leaned towards me

"he won't"

another lie, i just didn't know it yet.

i smashed my lips against his and i put my legs on top of his, straddling his waist

i hope jeremiah gets jealous.

"oh shit" i gasped and stood up " i'll uh, see you soon" i tell blake and ran to belly who was laying on the ground

i dropped my knees in the sand and saw that her cheek was very red

"are you okay?" i asked her and she nodded, i rolled my eyes when i saw jeremiah coming to help

"you okay? cmon" he helped her up then ran to the boys and broke them up

"cops!"

jere ran to me, interlocking our finger together and we ran to the car, he opened the front seat of the jeep for me and he closed it

"what was that?" he asked me

"what was what?" i wondered

"you and blake lake, making out, god you don't even know him" jere started

i scoffed and said "why do you even care"

jere rolled his eyes then looked out if the window " belly lets go, get in"

" cam can give me a ride home, right cam?" belly asked, i know she's doing this to make conrad jealous

"yes, that's no problem" cam told us

"no your not gonna get in a car with a guy you just met" jere said

"let her live jearbear" i put my hand on his arm, squeezing it and of course he only rolled his eyes at me

" i'm cam, cameron" he put his gave through the rolled down window

"you name is cam cameron?" jere questioned then he looked at me and laughed when i stared to pinch him. why is he being so rude?

"no, it's just cam , but we actually know each other. seventh grade latin class, so like we're not total strangers" cameron told him

jere moved my arm to my my lap, and held my hand from my lap, my eyes widen and i looked at belly. i guess she noticed too because she had a shock look

"ok, no offense but no" jere looked at conrad fur help "belly get in the car"

"just get in the car" conrad simply said

i groaned and kept a tight hold on jeres hand "y'all are both total dick, she is just trying to have fun" i looked at jere

he smirked at me and shook his head "she's 15"

"okay? so" i looked at belly and cam, they were now kissing "woah" i laughed

jere looked and just groaned "gross"

finally belly got in the jeep and started to go but jere slammed on his breaks "fuck steven, watch conrad, i'll be right back"

we sat in the car alone for about a minute when a cop knocked on conrad's window and asked "have you kids been drinking?"

"officers think you, it won't happen again i can promise you that much" my mom talked to the cops

i sat on the bench with my legs stretched out on conrad's lap and a kept yawning

"tell mr fisher the check wants to set up a tee time when he gets back in town" the male cop said

"absolutely, sorry again for all the trouble" mom walked them out "have a goodnight officers"

mom threw her hands up and asked "how could you guys be so irresponsible?"

"mom it wasn't a big dead all right? seriously" steven told her "the cops were just look to break up the bonfire"

"not a big deal?"

"yes" steven nodded

"i would say getting picked up by cops for underage drinking is a pretty big deal steven" she told him

steven started laughing "we're you guys smoking tonight?"

i giggled, seeing where he was coming from

"what? keep you voice down susannah's asleep on the couch" she yelled at him

"i wasn't yelling, you were" steven exclaimed

"just so you know, laurel, i didn't drink tonight. i was the dad i swear" jere told her

"your the oldest" mom looked at conrad "what the hells gotten into you? and when did you leave the house without telling anybody? and what in the world are you wearing?"

"it's taylor's" belly said "and pennys wearing a dress and she snuck out too"

i rolled my eyes. why'd she have ti bring me into this?

"she does this kinda stuff all the time, so i'm not surprised and she's 17" mom exclaimed "i hope you realize this night could've needed a lot different if your family wasn't your family"

"we're sorry laur" jere apologized

"just go to bed guys"

jere and i walked together to our rooms, since they were right next to each other

"wanna watch some netflix?" he asked me

i nodded "imma change first" i kissed his cheek then went to my room
